Very nice park. This area is full of history.

Plenty of room! Separate enclosed toddler area with lots of options for your small one. Paved walking path around the bigger kids area. Get your laps in while the kiddos play. Being able to keep eyes on my kids the whole time gives me peace of mind! All of my kids love the zip line.

Very fun place for kids to play n burn some energy. Variety of stuff to climb n slide including a zip line..fun fun..!

This park is fantastic, the best in town. Equipment is adult friendly and safe for little kids. My 5, 3, and 2 year old love it there. Lots of nice mature trees, although we lost some in the storm a few years ago. Great walking trail with fun covered bridge to explore.

See Big Ben, the Sycamore stump and walk the grounds studded with old growth trees. There was once a zoo here, remnants of the old bear caves can still be seen. The Indian trail makes for a challenging hike. Enjoy the mini-zipline, horseshoes, basketball, tennis, frisbee golf, and in wintertime the We Care christmas lights display!

Well maintained, sizable public gathering place with great aesthetic. Roads going in are a bit confusing outside, but easy to follow once you get inside. Great trees, plenty of shade, and an old covered bridge.

I love it. I like to go and write, its very peaceful in the park and everyone is respectful of space. Ive never had a problem.

Great park if you have kids!Grassy areas to run around, jungle gym, swings, zip line, slides, etc. It was well maintained. Great place for a picnic. Dogs must be on leashes.Not far away is the sycamore stump and old Ben which are really cool.I went to use the restroom but that was not well maintained, so be prepared for that potentially.

The lights were great as usual and the guys out there tonight were funny and good with the kids.

The new equipment is amazing! Thank you Kokomo for finally upgrading Highland Park. The ice cream truck even made an appearance; the perfect ending for a perfect play time.

The park has a nice playground for the Children. You can walk around the trail. Also see the geese and ducks in the water. A nice place for a cookout or picnic.

This is a good place to take little ones to. Took Bella there and she had a lot of fun. Going to do this again

Nice scenic area. Little guy (4) really loved the play area.

The park itself was great. There were lots of places for different activities and sports. The only downfall were the preteen kids hanging around and cursing. They were sitting at and around the playground area and nearly every other word out of their mouth were either cursing or talking very inappropriate topics. They were very rough with some of the equipment so I am sure some will be broken in a short time. The older teens that were around were much quieter in their conversations and were well behaved.

It is nicely maintained. The playground is updated and all including. Plenty of parking.

It is a beautifully shaded Park, great for the family. It has several historic sights and a covered bridge. Along with a great regulation size base ball diamond. It is a must visit.

This is the most beautiful park in all of kokomo. A creek with nice size fish bass, bluegill, carp and catfish. A covered bridge from the 1800s. Plenty of picnic tables, play ground, picnic areas. Walking trails and a waterfall. Love it!

Good park. Big enough where you dont feel crowded. Lots of room for kids to run around.

Nice park but it needs patrolled by the police. Had a12 year old boy chasing kids with a knife!

Highland Park has been a big part of Kokomos rich history and home to the few covered bridges left in America...this one is the Vermont Bridge built in 1875. Big Ben is the largest steer on record along with the old Sycamore stump( both incased in glass ).

Lovely park with an amazing playground that is inclusive for all ages and abilities- a zip line, an expression swing a new ramped castle structure and a retro play structure are highlights of a beautiful park.

This is a pretty good park for the area, the trail is cool theres some areas for picknicking and some wildlife for you to enjoy. Unlike alot of other parks in the kokomo area the genitalia graffiti is at a minimum....so thats a plus.Honestly the only reason this park didnt get the 5 stars it probably deserves is i think the park system in this city needs alittle help. Although this park is pretty nice most of the surrounding parks are filled with trash and graffiti....not even like the cool or witty graffiti either, just middle schoolers drawing crude pictures or random curse words that I then have to explain to my 6 year old why its a bad word and who would have written it there in the first place. Ill be writing letters and calling our mayor and congressmen to try and fix this and if you have children and visit these parks as well maybe you should call them too....more voices make a louder statement.

They have good prices and nice building rentals.. But the lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude. She needs to work on her customer service for sure.

Took my granddaughter who is 4 yrs old and her 3 yr old best friend. It was such a good time. We love going to Highland park and that day it was in the high 40s.

Beautiful little park! This park was devastated by a tornado a couple years ago. The cleanup was huge and a lot of old, huge trees were lost. A new set of playground equipment has been in place and the kids love it, especially the zip line ride. Big Ben and the giant Sycamore stump are a sight to behold. Kokomo Band Orchestra has concert regularly. Fall in the park is a great location for photographers to do their best. Enjoy everything this park has to offer and help keep it clean.

The park is nice with the multiple areas to walk and play. But there was quite a bit of trash around.

Good place for the kids & family to have a cookout or just a picnic.

Something for everyone! Kids have a fenced in play area, with the rubber mulch. Much nicer. It has over a mile and a half of paved walking area, down and back. Or you can leave the asphalt behind and take to the Indian trails. The trails are a good quarter mile workout. I do NOT recommend it for anyone that cant climb a tree. Dont forget Big Ben, The Sycamore Stump, and 18 holes Frisbee Golf. The only down side is the Geese poop. So bring something to put over tables and chairs.

Easy fishing

I love everything about this place except the geese and dirty creek. Jackson Morrow is so much nicer. But the kids love the play area.

This is a great shaded park to walk your puppy. Ive always meet nice people here and most everyone has their dogs on leashes. I come here now almost daily as we are new to the area and this park is 3 minutes from our house. Needs more light for the evening walks after dark. Its to creepy at night to walk here, Need More Light. Thanks

Its a nice big park, that you can take your children to and relax in the shade if you want to.

Very nice park. Has public restrooms right next to a kids play area, a nice path you can walk or run on (half-mile down and back) that goes past a creek and a little dam.

My daughter loves the park here. area for smaller children needs to be spiced up a bit.

This park was a lovely family oriented place. I love watching the ducks in the water. It is gorgeous every season of the year. They installed a new zipline. It is very nice. The circle swings are always a hit. They have updated quite a bit of the park. This park has many great things about it but it doesn’t change the fact that it is not a safe park anymore. It used to be the best park to go to in Kokomo. Now you can’t pay me to go there. The last few times I have been there we have been approached by someone. Cops Have been there the last couple times we visited the park. One man was barefoot and possibly high on drugs. One arrest was made and after that we have stopped going there completely. It is not a safe park.

Brought my boys here when they were growing up, and now I bring my grandson. It was great when my boys were kids, its only gotten better. I love Highland Park!!!

We were there for a retirement party, it was a very good experience, the venue was very nice and clean. If I ever have a retirement party I will definitely put this place at the top of my list.

Great place for my kids to play! Never a let down!

The evening I visited was very pleasant. The playground is especially nice. There is a bicycle lane through the park. Also, Frisbee golf (sorry thats probably not the actual name of the sport) is very popular there.

Bible expository sermons with an emphasis on connecting the Old and New testaments. A relaxed, warm, atmosphere. People are dressed casual. A mixture of hymns and contemporary songs. Visitors are welcome.

This historic park in Kokomo is a great place to visit. Not only does it bring out childhood memories, but the upgraded child play area is a favorite of our grandchildren. They especially enjoy the zip line.

Well maintained.

Have been coming to Highland Park for over 35 years. As a kid it was a great place to play for hours. As a teen it was a spot to hang with friends or make out . As a young adult I would sit for hours and listen to music, reflect on life, do homework or just watch the squirrels play and the leaves fall. As a parent I have brought my kids here for picnics and play time. They recently remodeled the big park with all new equipment, including a zip line. Plenty of places to picnic. Buildings to rent for parties and special occasions. I havent been since the remodel, my youngest is 11, so I am unsure of the current upkeep, but the bathrooms used to be the only complaint. Not the tidiest, but expected with use by so many. Hope to keep visiting Highland Park for many years to come.

Beautiful and quiet. Great for families. Awesome play ground and plenty of space to run around. Check out the stump...my husband joked about it but it was kind of interesting.

Playground is great! Colorful and lots to play on. Slides, swings, lots to climb and a zipline. Theres also a toddler park with a fence and gate. Theres tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds and an area for horse shoe playing. They also have a little snack shack that sells ice cream at certain times. Scattered around are picnic tables and a frisbee golf course with 18 holes. Overall a nice park with a creek running through the middle.

Great park with plenty of stuff to do, really needs some supervision because smoking in a public park around kids on a playground would be off the table to most people but theres always someone who thinks its acceptable here. Would be a good idea to re-purpose the horse shoe area to a batting cage or volleyball nets. Who plays horseshoes anymore?!
