I love this place because theres a variety of trails. From roots to rocks, going over bridges, dirt, and adrenaline pumping downhills, some ready for jumps. The riders you come across the way are very polite, and encouraging individuals. Its almost as if people just know each other. Feels so welcoming and comfortable.
Great simple spot for mountain biking. Nothing fancy with downhill trails, and not super well maintained, but the development of a jump track and pump tracks has been a big boost for Knoxville.
A very fun place to ride and get away from every day drama would give 10 stars
Knoxville outdid itself with this place! If you want downhill speed and jumps you have a nice pick here. Devils Racetrack is the place to be! There is also Cruze Vally the (easier) downhill and Barn Burner (harder) loads of jumps! Plus Barn Burner has a six pack of table tops you can loop at the top to warm up. For flow Floyd Fox is nice and Sycamore Loop. If you MTB and are in Knoxville you need to visit! So much more! Jump lines! Pump track! Rock gardens! It’s the place to be!
Grab your bike and get out and enjoy some of what makes Knoxville a great place to live. There something for every skill level and age to enjoy.
The best access to the Soth Knoxville Wilderness bike trails. It can get crowded on nice days
One of the best places to ride in the southeast. Unique trail system that offers many different options
Nice park with trails for all skill levels. Observed small children and advanced riders.
Great trails for beginners and advanced riders. Pump/jump tracks are great too. So glad we have something like this in Knoxville
Awesome bike park. Something for everyone. Bikes, scooters, skates, boarding...etc
Very nice place to ride. Also really fun to ride trails and pump track.
Baker Creek Preserve: we always come back to this park for MTB and BMX rides. The new asphalt jump lines are great, as well as the two asphalt pump tracks with different skill levels. Knoxville has done an great job creating this resource for bicycling.
This place is simply magnificent I love shredding nar here at least one a week
Great place to take the family to ride bikes, hike or play.. friendly people from all over come and ride bikes here wether BMX or mountain bikes along with the dirt jumper bikes..city council got it right on this place and theyre still adding more to it.
This is a great place to ride they are still adding things near the parking area the one thing I do wish though is it would be nice to have something for my wife and 3 littles to do while my 2 older boys and I shred the trails and jump line but maybe thats coming in the future
Nice place for kids to ride. However there is not really any shade and no seating for non riders.
Place is rad. Just come down. Doesnt matter how good/bad a rider you are, you will have fun.
Baker Creek is an amazing biking area where you can ride multiple downhill trails. I love the new pump track and jump line.
Great MTB trails. Not super techy, immaculately groomed, sweet berms, and hits for big air.
Great bike park for all ages and skill sets...and its still being developed!
Lots of space by the church that stays busy with construction (June 2020) but theres a huge lot across the street for over flow and the ambc events
Great park, lots of fun. Well maintained trails
Plenty of parking, come enjoy the fun!
MTB trails are kept up well, and the asphalt park is awesome!!!
Its a blast for all ages. Trails are very nice
The best biking east of the Mississippi
Great place to spend the day riding !
One of the best mountain biking places in Tennessee, smooth and fun trails with crazy berms and jumps. The people around are always helpful and kind, there are options for all skill levels. Theyre working on a massive skill section.
Great trails for mtb!
Huge improvements. Impressive biking structures
First time riding Baker Creek, had a great time with all of the new trails, jumps, berms etc...
Beginner friendly area for bike enthusiasts. Although the tracks are not for beginners.
Great place to ride!
There making it better every day
It was vary fun.
Awesome tracks 3 levels of tracks
Unique and set up in a way where there are stations that you can hang out at. Equipment, swings and climbing area are also more advanced and not the same technology used for the last 100 years. Great place!
Knoxville is very lucky to have a facility like this. Kid friendly and safe if you have adults supervising. devils racetrack is extremely challenging and dangerous but super fun and wonderful! Just be careful and wear your pads and helmets. I ran there the other day and it was very difficult because of the high incline. To get to the top its pretty high up there. I ran the devils racetrack and it was quite a thrill. A little dangerous but I like risky trail running.I have been running the iams trail series for a while but then never done this and it was a lot of fun.
Great trails for all skill levels.
Parking is ample but not well marked
Couldnt find directions for walking trail
We love going to bike here with the kids. All the other bikers are always nice and respectful, encouraging our kids along the way. Great place for kids and advanced mountain bikers and trail runners.
The trails are alot of fun. Love to see the trail system growing.
Extremely fun riding with diverse difficulty levels. I would rate myself as an experienced novice, if that makes any sense. My wife & I rode the moderate trails (which were plenty easy) & did the easy downhill track; it was my first EVER time doing a dedicated downhill course like that & it was--very challenging, but--an ABSOLUTE BLAST. I would NOT recommend the downhill track for any inexperienced riders, but the trails should be fine for riders of all experience & skill levels. Everything is really well marked, so you know which trail youre on & where the downhill only tracks are. Cant wait to go back there again.
Attended my first AMBC fall bike festival. It was Awesome ! Looking forward to going next year
Theres so much going on in this area its ridiculous! This park is very natural and built for kids and families. There is even a little basket full of random footballs basketballs Etc to get you hyped up for outdoor activity. There is a playground Forest across the street from the main playground as well as over 45 miles of Greenway connected to this park alone. Just do your research look it up and be prepared to take a whole day or two for all the fun that lies within!
Plenty of parking and will eventually be updated with new paint Im sure.
Awesome mtb trails.you can also hike.
Awesome great biking
My son rode there for the TYMBR series championship and liked it a lot! Wants to come back during normal operations... Parking is plentiful when you understand that youre parking in a large lot beside a church, but youre right there by the trails! Took off one star not because of facilities, but because several public riders did not respect the barrier tape hung to mark the course!
Its a park parking lot, lol. Cant wait for the renovations. Heard upgraded bathrooms are in the works, amongst other things
This is the parking area for a piece of Knoxvilles Urban Wilderness. Basic amenities with a port-a-potty. No running water which is why it gets the 4 star, but it will start getting more as soon as the community project taking over the church gets underway. Plenty of parking for all the mountain bikers and their rigs, as well as others enjoying the trails or play areas for kids. This parking lot accesses all 3 architected downhill trails.
Best ever
Small trail system shows promising future, trails are dull and short and offer little. Would be fun for children or novice ridersClimbs are too short for cardio training and descents are easy and repetitive
Great mountain biking trails and the best downhill tracks in Knoxville just a short drive from downtown or campus
Lots of good trails for mtb riding.
Awesome trails.
Awesome place to ride bikes
Every level of trail difficulty in one location. The easier trails like Sycamore Loop are wide. The mid-level trails like Floyd Fox are overgrown in spots. The difficult trails are wide and very well maintained. The dirt of the trails are east Tennessee red clay so they provide great traction and drain off quick after a rain.Pay attention to the rating system. If it says the trail is difficult, they mean it. There are videos online.
Best trails ever
Great little Urban Wilderness. Playground, bike trails, walking trails. Woyld love to see it developed further
Great downhill trails
Its got a long way to go with so much construction going on
Finally a place in the Southeast that is 5 star for the expert rider. This place is incredible. Thanks to Shaggy and his crew you can expect to find a level of riding that will keep you coming back for more. Watch the videos and realize that these jumps are much bigger than a camera does justice. Trust me - You will want to spend a few days here just to get the lines figured out. Also, there are great xc trails and local eats. This is just the beginning of a great riding destination. There is great Pump Track riding here as well. Just a great all around Off Road destination.
Fun place to bike with more exciting and difficult options, pay attention to one way downhill routes.
Great place, spot for kids to play amazing trails very well maintaned no drinking fountians and only some porta pottys but great place
Well there is a pretty nice restroom and well maintained trails, so I like it.
I love this parking lot. I would definitely park again.
Excellent
Wonderful free mountain bike park. Has 3 amazing downhill trails, the downhill trails would be very difficult to handle on a bike from Walmart or similar.
Incredible place to mountain bike
All sorts of trails varying from gentle slopes to crazy downhill. Its an area for all level riders. The climbs are long, but worth every bit to get to the downhill.
Best DH/DJ trails in town
Just found this the other day. Some really cool features.
I tealreal love rideinh over here bar. Burner is my favorite trail
I have lived here pretty much my whole life love what they have done here keep on keeping on
Trails were great and well maintained. There is something for everyone here
Super fun place! Hit the trails, then when your done hang out at the pump track for a while!
Its a nice parking lot.
We didn’t know how much fun was in store for us. Once you finish the uphill trek on some of the paths, the downhill is awesome!
Great addition to south Knoxville for outdoor family fun
For sure some of the best maintained trails i have ever had the pleasure of riding.
Awesome Downhill and Mountain Bike trails in Knoxville!
Great way to get some exercise. Good for little and big kids too.
Fun, clean and looked safe to park while riding.
First time at Baker! Awesome trails definitely will be back many times.
