I didnt get many pics of the inside of the condo, but it was just perfect! Had a full kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom; everything you need! The staff was very accommodating and friendly! The beach was literally a hop, skip and a jump away. You had ample space to lay out and sunbathe and could jump into the ocean whenever you felt necessary. Within walking distance to a local store and farmers market, which was nice!

This place doesnt look impressive from outside, but wait to judge it. Wait and go inside your appartment! Its amazing! Furniture, kitchen, bed, bathroom. Everything is awesome! We loved it! These pictures show the beach. We love, that it was always not crowded, as many beaches on the island. So you can enjoy yourself and the view

Beautiful, well taken care of place to stay. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time sitting on the little grass yard in the back. Close to many gorgeous destinations. Thoughtfully decorated and clean. We had an incredible time!

Its showing its age (50 years) and electric outlets are scarce. Many units have been very nicely upgraded, but ours only the shower and carpet. Kitchen does work, minimally. Value is there, however, if you shop around.

If your looking for a quiet peaceful place to stay Kehei Kai is it! Not far from both downtown Kehei and tourist spots of Lahaina its a very nice small condo rental unit located on Sugar Beach. Quiet unlike some of the other larger condo in the area. In the middle of upgrades right now. Beachfront with a lawn for relaxing. Has a nice small pool. Wonderful rental and property staff.

Welcoming, quiet community of mature adults. Great location. Love the lawn at the beach that serves as a social every evening to watch the sunset and whales.

Kihei (Cobra) Kai is the definition of PARADISE. Staying here was hands down the best decision my wife and I made for our Honeymoon. On our first day we were welcomed with custom authentic LAYS and delicious chocolate! We were made to feel so welcome here. The staff were very cool and offered advice on where to catch a quick bite. They were thrilled to have two young newly weds staying under their roof!The beach is quaint and peaceful, great for chilling on the sand and swimming among the waves. Theres also some cool crabs that chill out at night. You can walk for a few miles during the sunset and take in that Maui sunset in all its glory.The condo itself was modern, clean and homely. They have a cute little guest book where many have filled in some details about their trip. Some people just listed their itinerary (lol). One woman shared how she grew up there and how it was the house that built her (cool). We left a little entry as well!You can walk right out onto the ocean every morning/afternoon/night. Just amazing. There were also a few cats that chilled out and would come to visit for some petting sessions.For us, Kihei Kai was perfect because it offered a beautiful beachfront stay without the hullabaloo of the big resorts. Every park, excursion or beach we wanted to visit was close enough.Stay at Kihei Kai Oceanfront condos!

Very old, but very safe and quiet place. We loved the location!! And the people and food at our Christmas get together.

Relaxed quiet beach front rental condos

We absolutely loved our stay at Kihei Kai. There was a bit of construction going on when we stayed but we did not hang around during the day time so it never affected us. The interior of the condo was updated and very comfy, it felt like home.The property managers, Paula and Ron, were some of the nicest people weve met on our travels. They provided the basics as you would expect, but it was also great to see that they had beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc for us to use.If youre looking for a lay at the pool and be waited on vacation Id recommend going to a resort in Kaanapali because this isnt that kind of spot, but if you want a nicely appointed condo steps from the beach with all the comforts of home this is it. We loved the beach town vibe of Kihei too.

This place is really nice for a vacationing. It feels very much like a home and is a great place to stay if you want to feel like youre living on the island and not just staying there as a tourist. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island and my wife and I will definitely be booking it again for our next trip!

Its right on the beach and quiet. Very relaxing atmosphere and very well maintained. Beautiful foilage and flowers on the property. The condos are in a very nice location to experience the island. I think the best part of the stay was the management! Amazingly helpful and wonderful! Great people and they did so much to help us enjoy the trip!

Great hidden gem on Maui. We stayed in #15 which is privately managed with a very helpful and responsive host. Condo is more or less completely remodeled inside and we loved being so close to the beach/water. Every morning we walk to Sugar Beach Bakery. Centrally located to all of the island activities and only 10 minutes from the airport- no west Side traffic. Book #15- you won’t regret it! (They’re on Airbnb and VRBO, but could probably google the listing)

Great friendly staff with a few cute cats. Room was clean and big. We never used the kitchen since we ate out everyday since it was such a great location to so many restaurants. Beach is right out back. Would recommend anyone going to Maui to stay here. Great value too

Kihei Kai is truly Hawaiian. These 2-storey condos have lots of space for entertaining your family, the beautiful sandy (4) mile beach and pool are at your doorstep followed by a gorgeous sunset view. Just a short walk up the beach is the canoe club and across the street a farmers market, ABC store with a bakery right next door. These condos make you feel like you are at the beach house, very relaxing and laid back with easy access to major roads. Your hosts Paula and Ron live onsite and are very helpful.

This is an older but very comfortable condo complex. Only 2 stories among the tall newer places. We loved it that we could just walk out onto our lanai, down 3 steps, and then walk down a short path to the beach. Staff is helpful and friendly, others in complex friendly and jolly. Centrally located - drive north 10 minutes to the Pacific Whale Foundation, south 10 minutes to Kihei. Not a fancy luxury experience, but homey, clean, and fun.

Great low key relaxing place to stay.

Nice crowd of people and convienent location however rooms are extremely outdated. The bad: Stains on sheets and towels smell pretty bad. AC was loud window units. The air it blew out smelled a bit. We used candles to freshen our stay. The TVs were VERY outdated. They were those old types that have a VCR built in! I dont think theyve made those for at least 15 years. The bed, advertised as a king size, was 2 twin beds pushed together. There was a $100 cleaning fee added to the stay. We didnt feel like the room was all that clean to start when youre getting charged that much. The good: The unit managers are very friendly. It was fun chatting with them and some of the other guests one night watching the sunset. The beach was very nice. Waters are very calm and kid friendly if you bring kids. The beach wasnt over crowded like many spots in Maui. Overall ok with our stay. Issues like the TV wont ruin the vacation. Its Maui. If youre spending a lot of time watching tv youre doing it wrong anyway. Still we would have liked to have amenities newer than 10-15 years old and would have liked everything to be a bit fresher.

Good quality price stay! Good location

We stayed for 16 days in Unit 12 owned by Chip and Charlotte. The condo was great, updated and fully equipped as advertised. The beds were very comfortable with the pull out bed in the living room the most comfortable wed ever slept on. The complex is very well groomed with mature gardens that offer great wildlife sounds to which you wake. Being right on the beach is what staying on Maui is about along with the complex being centrally located with easy access to the highways to go anywhere on the island. Chip and Charlotte were great to deal with and accessible anytime. Paula and Ron were also very friendly and warm complex managers. We will stay here again and have already recommended staying there to our friends.

Right on the beach, away from tourist traffic. Five mile long Sandy Beach and super calm waters. Old Hawaii still exists, not a multi story soulless pink condo complex. Unit 23 is the best, recently remodeled with stellar ocean views.

This condo is a nice cozy place next to ocean in Kihei. We were comfortable while we were staying there. There was little miscommunication when we were booking the place but the staff was reachable and willing to explain things to us. It is another plus if you like cats; there are 4 working cats walking around in the community.

Great central, quiet location - right on the beach. Had all the amenities needed for a great stay in Maui. A 2nd A/C unit in the living room (in addition to the one in the bedroom) wouldve made it perfect. Owners were friendly. Ample parking. Decor was was a little dated, but who cares.

Nice place and close to major roads. GOOD LUCK FINDING IT!!!! Directions and Google Maps was of little help.

We started for 5 days inn #21. Bananas growing within reach from the rail on our Lanai. As well as a Plumeria tree that was somewhat in bloom. Enough lol. Every morning the wall along the beach to ABC market, fruit stand and The Sweet Shop Bakery... NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!!!!! Ron was great and worked tirelessly to keep the property cleaned up and nice. Ron was great!!! Everything we needed!!! And more!!! I will be back!!

Condos were perfect for our short trip. It would have been great if we could have stayed longer. All you needed was in one little area. No need to go far.

Wonderful resort, quiet and peaceful!

They are nice enough. A missing light bulb here and there, shower door is off the tracks. But the location is nice, the price is good, and the a/c is cold. At least, I the bedroom. Cant figure out how to turn it on in the living room.

It was quiet, relaxing without all the hustle and bustle. The location was perfect, needing to go in both directions of the condo. It was nice to see that the backyard was our own pacific ocean. There a few amenities like beach chairs and barbecue grill which could be utilized if inviting your friends to visit.

It may not be luxurious as the big resorts. But your room is steps from the beach. There is a nifty bakery and a Hawaiian Ice place within easy walking range. It is also a quiet location because you a slightly off the main strip. The apartments the pretty nice and the WiFi is good!

We were slightly disappointed with this resort. It wasnt on the best beach in the area by any means. You also need to take out your own trash and make sure there are no dishes (even clean and drying) out before you leave. The lanai lights do not turn off and therefore the person sleeping on the uncomfortable pull out couch also has to deal with a great deal of light coming in. There are many cats, which we enjoyed but others may find off putting

The condos are all owned privately... ours was pretty outdated. The kitchenware was in rough shape, condo wasnt stocked with enough stuff - toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags for an 8 day stay. Its a cozy environment, definitely not the big resort feeling.

The settings is like home and its very clean and relaxing and the staff is very welcoming and awesome

Nice condo. Property is right on the beach but the condo you rent itself isnt. Thats the only complaint I have, the pictures made it seem like the patio faced the beach. Nice, friendly staff with great recommendations.

Kihei Kai was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We arrived on a 4th of July, the local managers welcomed us as members of the family, with warm hugs, chocolates and exceeding all the expectations to make us feel at home. They even invited us to their own holiday BBQ, Paula and Ron youre the best! :-)The hotel accommodations are cozy, clean and very well maintained. We definitely felt it was our own apartment in Maui. They also have a Bbq area by the beach, a pool, great laundry facility that has a small library with books to borrow (great idea!)The hotel location is also convenient, with easy access to the highway that takes you to all Maui s attractions, an walking distance ABC store and a good size parking lot.Well definitely stay here again in our next trip to Maui, highly recommended!

Windows with mold, roaches in unit, Windows with no screens, felt like a hostel. Price was no competitive at all, found a condo 10x better with stainless steel appliances and washer dryer in unit/clean for same price as Kihei Kai filthy condos. Management did not address my concern or return my call and instead took call from my friend who acted like he wanted to reserve a condo

Our kids stayed there last year so we had to book it for this year. We will be there soon, cant wait!!!!

Our stay was amazing. The team made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. The kitchen could use some updates but overall the place is in great condition. You could not ask for a better location or a better view. This place offers a front row seat to the beach and the breath taking sunsets. You can also walk to a local farmers market and bakery from there.
