We had an a wonderful Thanksgiving time at Ocean Edge Hotel. Robert took care of our Thanksgiving dinner next to the pools. George and Stephanie K was wonderful at front desk by giving us a lot of information what to do in the hotel and outside of the hotel. Room smelled clean and were very spacious with comfortable beds. I would come back again.
June 23 2019. This was our second stay at this resort. Upon arrival you will most likely be met with Sir Cocklehock. If he likes you, he brings over the family. (Ill post pics)Always book the king ocean view suite with balcony. I appreciate that they were following the safety measures perfectly. Plenty of activities to enjoy there, my favorite is the life-size chess game. List goes on
Rooms immaculate and stylish. Swimming pools perfect. Great food..the shuttle service never failed and always on time. Thanks to Kevin, one of the drivers, for fabulous info along the way into town. Ability to kayak, bike and paddleboard on premises was ideal as well. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Not thrilled with chickens and roosters everywhere and I mean all of key west, but thats just me. Cant wait to return.
Beautiful location right on the water. You can rent bikes, jetski, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. there is an active charter marina if you want to go out and fish. The restaurant has a wide array of options, even if we decided to eat downtown instead.A shuttle runs between the hotel and downtown it leaves on the hour from 8am to 11pm and returns at 25 past the hour. Check with the hotel as times may change. The wifi is okay, had no trouble with reception and speed was good enough for my VPN client back to the office. The only negative was the forklift they use to haul boats. Its rather loud and runs right by the restaurant. Its a minor gripe for what was otherwise a fantastic stay
We decided to come down for a 3 day weekend, 2 night weekend. After a 4 hour drive, we were met by two of the nicest people by the name of Stephanie and Umberto. Not just fake nice (we have to do this because we work here), I mean genuinely nice people. They were more than happy to go out of there way for us and then brought out the boss, Claudia. She was just as nice. I was afraid my wife was going to invite them home with us.I also cant forget to mention Alex. Best Coffee guy this side of Duval Street. Super nice and literally makes getting coffee fun.The rooms were spotless, pools were clean. we were on the 3rd floor which had a view of the marina. never heard another person when the balcony door was closed. All in all, I will be back. No issues at all and again, Stephanie and Umberto started the weekend for us and it was enjoyable the whole time.
The room was heavily overpriced for what we received. Dont get me wrong, the room was nice and exactly like the pictures. But their website made me think that we would basically be able to go from our room to the beach. Unfortunately there is no beach. The restaurant and bar on the property is pricey with very few options. The front desk staff at check in were very nice and explained the hotel to us. Housekeeping on the other hand were not polite nor nice at all. The kayaks were fun. Couldnt do the jet skis because there are only two times a day that they take them out and it is on a first come first serve basis. It would be nice if the hotel had more food and drink options for guests especially since we are a little far from town. We went through the mini bar. Cant wait to see the charge for that
Yesterday was Thanksgiving had a young girl named Rachel was working the tiki hut where they rent kayaks and whatnot. There was a couple there complaining about something when we walked up. After a few minutes we realized what was going on. The people had broken a paddle which was a $25 fee but they had thrown it away which is $100 fee. They signed the paperwork explaining this to them but when it happened they were freaking out on the poor girl who was working on thanksgiving. Rachel handled it like a champion and we want to send a shout out to her. Kudos for working on Thanksgiving and eating crow when those people were totally out of line. from our experience, the entire staff at oceans edge resort was trained correctly. Extremely helpful and friendly.
The front desk people were awesome!!! We checked in 10/16/20-10/18/20. It’s our 2nd time here and we will be back for a 3rd. The whole place is great and not a bad view from your room. Clean, courteous and professionalas usual. A short ride from downtown key west on a scooter or a golf cart which we recommend for parking purposes. Lots of great activities to do while you are here. Enjoy and be safe.
Really relaxing and away from the chaos. The staff really leaves you to yourself which is nice. The only improvement I would suggest would be faster poolside service, and everything is extremely high priced for the size. Because of those two reasons we drank and ate there only one time vs every day. The other is that I would recommend asking for a room without a shared landing area. You can hear every time your neighbors go in and out. I absolutely love that they include rentals in the stay packages- it gives you the opportunity to enjoy some new things.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. I didn’t realize how new the resort was. Didn’t realize every room had a view of the water. Entrees and appetizers were delicious! (perhaps a little more tuna in the tuna nachos). Umberto, Cindy and Claudia at the front office were very helpful. Heather and Rachel at the FREE paddleboard/kayak center were also helpful. Rooms were spacious and new.
Everything about this place was great. The rooms, the marina, the restaurant, the customer service, everything!! Staff was nice, friendly and polite. Even offered us umbrellas when they saw us walking in the rain. Was it perfect, no, but few things in life are. We will be looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for the memories we were able to make!
Beautiful resort near the marina. Everyone here was very polite, from front desk, concierge and restaurant staff. We stayed here for a couple of days right after Labor Day and it was amazing! Not at all super crowded. Our suite was very clean!!!5 poolsRooms with bay view (you can catch wonderful sunsets here)Bar/restaurant within the resortParking $20/nightFree shuttle to downtown Key WestIf we’ll return to Key West, this resort will definitely be on our list to come back to.
No hair salon and they add tips on your bill without consent, The breakfast was not good, they charged all this money with no good amenities. The first floor regular price and third floor $20.00 a day added to your bill. Told them I was coming for my 50th Birthday you think they would try treat you special or upgrade you
This resort is super clean and fancy! My dad wanted to go somewhere nice and this is where we went for Fathers Day weekend. It was worth it but a bit pricey overall. Lots of little fees here and there add up but lots of fun! I highly recommend it! Theres 6 pools (one adult only), a marina to park your boat, a restaurant and bar with a breakfast café in the mornings, and large rooms!
We were here 2 years ago... Time flies! We had an amazing time @ Oceans Edge! We felt welcome from the first minute. I would move in tomorrow if I could! Loved the proximity of the Air base, seeing these fighter jets soaring past us while we were kayaking in the marina was great! See you again during our Honeymoon?!?
Rooms were nice and clean, loved the ocean/marina view. Having several pools was a nice in case one was too crowded. I really love the wild roosters and chicks running around, so cute I dont understand why people are so gross leaving their trash in the pools. I wish the hotel could provide a linen collection container for towels in the walk-in entrance for the rooms and a small table with new towels because room service is not available unless requested ahead of time. I love the showers, very clean and provides Key West Collection shampoo, soap, and conditioner.
Good atmosphere, lovely resort but poor room service. I requested fresh towels in the morning but got them in the evening. Requested the room to be cleaned in the room but was told that i need to give 24 hours notice. May be this was a 1 time thing but i gotta give them a 3 star, otherwise it would have been a 4 star. Also its 20 to 25 mins from duval street.
Everything from check-in to activities to getting around the city was made so much easier with Stephanie K’s help. Really awesome staff and they really make it feel like a proper vacation while being ultra-careful with COVID measures. Little details like a personal hand sanitizer and disinfected/wrapped remote controller etc. show how much this property cares about the safety of their guests, while keeping it fun. Kudos!
Without doubt one of the favorite resort stayed during my time in Key West! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff: Stephanie K, Oshane and Stephanie F. are phenomenal. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer extremely friendly, helpful. I almost forgot one of the staff members he made us coffee his from Italy I think he was super fun to talk to! Super nice man.The room was upscale, quiet and comfortable I almost called front desk to see if I could purchase the pillows hahaha. I couldnt get over the pretty views off my balcony. Overview of the marina and the ocean. u2028u2028the atmosphere is so special I’m glad I booked and stayed here. I’ll definitely recommend this resort to all my family and friends and I’ll definitely stay here again and again. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The room was nice except for the soaking wet spot in front of the bathroom door about the size of a grapefruit. The view from our third floor room was pretty good too. Check in and check out was smooth. They have shuttle service as well. Would stay again.
The staff from Claudia in the front office that goes out of her way to help find the best package for your stay is amazing.Umberto at the front desk is very helpful and making sure you feel welcome and is a very gracious and friendly accent to the beautiful hotel
Pros: The room was larger than I had expected. The view was absolutely breathtaking! I loved that the resort has numerous pools and so many neat things that you can do while you are there. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always felt like they were happy to answer questions and make us feel at home. The beds were super comfortable and the room was incredibly clean. The room has a mini-bar and I was given adequate warning that if you move an item, you will be charged for it. The small boxes of snacks were a little overpriced, but I felt that the mini bar drinks were priced fairly and comparable to the price of a mixed drink from a bar. I appreciated that the front desk can lock the mini bar from the office in case you are traveling with children. The room had a large t.v. with numerous channels which kept our kids entertained. The balcony was clean, well-lighted, and the furniture was nice and comfortable. I loved that the room came with two large bath robes.Cons:There were only two cons: (1) a family with very young children were teaching the kids to swim around 9:00 p.m. at night. My husband and I wanted to sit on the balcony and enjoy a drink with the gorgeous view, but it was difficult when it sounded like small children were being drown in the pool below us. However, I do realize this is something that the resort couldnt really control.(2) The biggest issue was parking. We drove our personal vehicle down the Keys to stay at this resort. My vehicle is customized and Im very protective over it. After checking in, I was directed to our room and drove to the building that we were staying in. There was absolutely no parking. We drove up and drown the parking lot and there wasnt even one open parking spot. We werent sure what to do, so we had to go and find the concierge to ask where we should park. He directed us to a parking lot further away, but that lot was full as well. Many people were double-parked and I counted three vehicles outside the room we stayed that did not have a parking pass in their windshield. That makes me think they likely may have been visiting guests of the resort. Regardless, I do think the staff should ensure that resort guests have adequate parking available when they arrive. I ended up having to park my vehicle in a back lot, nowhere near our room, and in a place that was not at all visible from our room. Obviously, this caused a lot of anxiety and wasnt very comfortable at all.Overall, I think the resort is a great place to stay. However, I wouldnt come back unless I was guaranteed parking near my room. For the cost per night, plus resort fee, plus $20 parking fee (which I truly believe should be refunded due to the inconvenience of parking in a weird back lot nowhere near my room), I do believe that guests should be able to park near their rooms. Again, the parking was really the only issue I had. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable.
Beautiful rooms, nice view, very clean. Loved the free water sports time tied to the stay (we got in an hour of kayaking).Disliked · A little far from restaurants and stores. You must have a car to take advantage of this location. Not the resorts fault but tried to eat breakfast on the balcony which was ground floor but the chickens swarmed. They left us alone with our coffee but the food brought them running.
Nice little hotel like units. Beautiful view of a marina. Very expensive for the location. Get better staying off one of the nice hotels on Duval Street
Beautiful little resort, with great amenities. Pools are spectacular and are plentiful. Views are great. Attached marina with boat slips and dry docks. 5-10 minutes from everything in key west. Parking was never an issue. Staff is excellent with their service and courtesy.
This location is NOT what it claims to be. The visual aspect of the room is all that was good about it. We had issues from the start. there were 5 of us staying in a double suite and there were only 1 set of sheets and 2 pillows in the room. The iron left stains on our clothing, the microwave did not work and the room clearly states it comes with 2 coolers and only came with one. Also beware you cant store anything but 2-4 cans of soda in there, its that small. We also called for toilet paper since they only give you 1 roll, no one came and had none until the next day. We had to purchase our own. To top it all off, there was no security or someone on watch in the pool area. I say this because there a group of people who brought at least 10 bottles of glass liquor into the pool area and on the edges of the pool while children are present. This is a very dangerous if something breaks and is looks poorly upon the resort that they would allow this. The waiter service was beyond slow and pricing at the restaurant is very expensive so beware. Would NEVER stay here again.
Upscale, right on the water. Pictures on their site are an accurate representation. Restaurant and bar are quite good, but no alternatives in walking distance. Bldg. 4 has no pools, but the walk to other buildings is very short. Sunning furnature is exceptionally good. Avoid Saturdays if you can and you will save money.
Beautiful serene resort! Two downsides: no beach and avoid the restaurant at all costs. The rooms are great but the restaurant service and food are mediocre at best.
It was windy when we came in. David was there and we had no problem docking. Another boat followed us, and Lance said he could dock behind his boat. This place is phenomenal!
Beautiful marina, nice clean rooms, good restaurant. The hotel is located around a marina with multiple swimming pools overlooking this marina. The restaurant where you can eat from breakfast to dinner is very good and have a nice view on the marina at sunset. The rooms are spacious an very clean in white and blue nautical tones.A very good place if you want to relax and do some offshore activities like deep sea fishing.
Whatever you do, bring more cash with you than you expected to bring. Upon arrival we were charged 20 dollars a day for parking and charged 50 dollars a day for incidentals. Not a big deal, just took more money upfront than what were told. Amazing food, drinks, and people. There is an 18% gratuity included at your convenience. We were un able to open a tab and were charged 18% per ordered drink from the poolside service. Again not a big deal, it would have been nice to know. Also no beach access at this resort. Can not swim while kayaking or doing their water sports. Tons of jellyfish and sharks, a truly amazing experience. We will be back, just with even more cash than we brought this time. Oh, and also, the drive that runs into the resort can be a little concerning, but resort is in a gated area and is the last stop on the street! I hope this helps with any future patrons. We really did enjoy our honeymoon, just come with a larger budget!
Beautiful! A nice place to call home for a week. Clean, well appointed. Everything you need. The balcony has the best views.
One of the best holiday resort in KeyWest. Separate pool for every building... Best place to spend quality time with your loved ones... awesome food and awesome service... very helping staff... complimentary kayaking and bicycle...
Loved this hotel. We arrived late at night and since they didn’t have the room we paid for available, they upgraded us. They gave us a fantastic suite. The pool area is beautiful. It was a great experience.
The Service Was Excellent. Stephanie F. & Umberto Were The BEST. Out Service Was Tip Top. Everyone Was Safe & Showing Safe Practices During The Pandemic. We Had A Great Time. Never Felt At Risk. The Property Is Amazing! We Will Be Back!
Nice location in Stock Island, beautiful and modern room, quite. The resort has a few pools but in my opinion theyre too small. We loved our stay.
The hotel is incredible. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and with balconies for the sunset. The pools are heated, clean, wonderful and you can see an incredible sunset. The food is very good and there was live music at the end of the day. All the attendants were very friendly. The attendant was super friendly and gave us a drink, a key lime pie (Incredible! Try it!) and breakfast because of my husbands birthday. Our stay was very good, I loved. A bad point is that the daily rate is not 24 hours (check in at 4 pm and check out at 11 am). It is an expensive place. We booked through Booking and in addition to the rate we had to pay an additional 30/40% fee, which had not been previously informed.
Room was great, nice staff and good location for Key West. Shuttle into Key West was very helpful.Desk staff were great!
Oceans Edge is the perfect oasis. Its luxurious pools, amazing Yellowfin restaurant, ocean views, marina setting, and incredible service is unmatched. This was our 3rd time visiting Oceans Edge, and the team there could not have made traveling during a pandemic any easier. The governor shut down the bars the second day of our trip, so our intentions of scootering back and forth between Key West and Oceans Edge on Stock Island quickly became lets just spend all day the hotel. And it was the most relaxing trip weve ever had. Robert, our poolside waiter, was incredible and attentive. I went to Taras yoga class on Saturday morning at the end of the Oceans pools, and it was an amazing experience. Room service, food, drinks, pools, everything was perfection. Cant wait to head back there - and by the way - the place still looks just as clean, gorgeous, and well kept as the first time we went two years ago.
The place is beautiful and the staff is extremely nice. Special thank you to Stephanie Umberto. I will definitely be back for a longer stay
Wow this place is so amazing! Calm place with super nice pool area with view over the marina and the ocean. We loved staying here and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It is quite far from the center of key west but other than that we had nothing to complaint about. The restaurant was good too but expensive.
High stakes fishing was great my family had a great time.
The rooms were amazing!!! the design, the space, the bed was soft, in the bathroom exlelent, everything looks new, was great,The food at the restaurant was amazingly good compliments to the chef, beer was cold, drinks were good.I only have 3 negative observation.!!!1 they charged me $20 a night for parking when I came back at 2 in the morning I had to ask the security guard where to park because there was no parking near my room, I had to park all the way in the front I believe it was a employee parking.2 I guess the building is made out of wood and when the other guests come in any time of night you can hear them walking around your room.3. The drive between the main road and the actual Resort is a little rough an uglyAgain these are observations not really complaints, because the whole experience on the place was really good thats why I gave him the five stars I would recommend anybody to go and stay there thank you again
Pet friendly, including parakeets . Smoke free, inside the buildings at least. Help keep the pretty rooms clean & neat, practice pet responsibility. Wonderfully nice reception, & most kindly accommodating. Beautiful, immaculate rooms, heated pool, gorgeous grounds for walking or running daytime or night. Lovely ocean views from the rooms! Smokers...can you kindly paddle out to an island if you want to light a cigarette... rather than stand on the balconies & pollute everyones air. Cant even leave my balcony door open for fresh air, so irritating.
Very nice rooms and great views. Had a hostess sit us at a dirty table twice for breakfast . We are not sure why there were clean tables available. No ac in elevators. The shuttle to and from the resort was over booked and people were asked to have their children sit on their laps. I am not talking toddlers this was pre-teens . The front staff was accomaditing and very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job keeping room cleaned. Food was very good. The breakfast included was a good selection. It was great having a Starbucks on the premises. Bartenders and pool waiter was very friendly and drinks were very good. This is a place I would stay again.
This is a fantastic resort, albeit a little on the outskirts of the happening. They do offer a shuttle into town, however, upon our arrival it was already completely booked and no alternative is offered. The last shuttle back to the resort was also way to early, around 9:25 if I remember correctly.Check in staff is not the friendliest. If they can remedy those issues it will warrant a 5 star.
Very disgusted with their policy of smoking. We understood that u cannot smoke in the rooms but was never told we couldnt smoke out on the balacony. Should we have known that we never would have but upon checking out was charged $500 for it. If we were informed about their policy, my sister and I are very respectful of non smoking areas and would have never of smoked outdide. Many other guests that we met had the same complaint. Staff was great, rooms were awesome but most of the guests their were stuck up snobs and rude. Will never stay there again. If u are looking for a friendly place as far as meeting other people, that is not the place to stay. Its so bad that other guest were actually chewing out the staff there because of the weather. Really sad
Stay away! This hotel charges you for everything! From snacks, to parking to even doing a late checkout! I stayed 3 nights, booked the same room as one of my family members in our group and got charged for parking but my family member did not. The hotel tells me that I booked the same rate but it wasn’t the Florida resident package and that is why I got charged for parking. I am a Florida resident! The woman at the front desk continued to explain the package I got and when I told her I don’t even know what that was she responds “you’re the one that booked it”. Horrible customer service! The manager didn’t even want to help or give me the credit for the parking. My family and I will never stay here again!
Customer service was fenomenal, the room was very clean, the view from the room was perfect, everything in overall was perfect, I recommend this hotel 100%
One of the best and beautiful resort I have stayed till now. Rooms are unbelievably clean, well managed, well decorated with everything hi-tech and automated. Staff is really good and supportive.they have got their own parking area and it has constructed over the large area which include a part of deck which will the view from few rooms from balcony. They have got several swimming pool for various sections of rooms.. once you enter the room the TV will play automatically welcoming you while displaying your name on it...I found it really advanced and warm.in case you’re using staircase the lights gets on as per your sensor. They got bicycles for roaming around the city. One of the plus point about this resort that they got their own section of Starbucks and a beautiful open restaurant with amazing taste of food.you will not regret paying so much for this hotel. They have their shuttles that drops you in the most crowded area of the key west where you can roam around and the last shuttle will be at 8pm.Will recommend this resort undoubtedly..thanks and keep up the good work great team!
My stay was spectacular! I wouldnt change a thing. The staff is incredible, from the moment you check into, to the restaurant employees, to housekeeping. The bed is so comfy you wont want to roll out of bed. You can even see the ocean from your bed. The balcony overlooks the pool which overlooks the ocean. There are Keurigs in the room to enjoy coffee on the balcony. They also serve Starbucks down at the restaurant. I had a cheese plate and dessert sent up to my room. Amazing!!! I enjoyed dinner down at the bar at sunset. You can tell Chef David takes pride in his work and he even came out to personally greet the tables. The scallops were so fresh you could cut them with a fork. Two thumbs up! I will definitely be back.
If you looking for a place to rest your mind this is the place, very quiet and comfortable.Service is great, very friendly. The Restaurant is great also, we had a great time here. Will be back for sure.
Large and clean rooms with beautiful pool area. So much greenery with lots of chickens and roosters wandering around, giving you the best feel of Southern vacation. Though the yachts are blocking the beautiful ocean view from the rooms, that is the only minus point for this resort
Service is great! Nice get-a-way place to stay. I had a great time!
Beautifully furnished, the family suite was perfect for 2 couples and a teen. The parking is a giant pain! U pay for it and good luck finding a spot after 8pm.The reception desk is not on par with the price or luxury, They didnt even tell us about complimentary breakfast. Ice machines are impossible to find and staff did not know where they were when asked.Restaurant and bar are over priced but the BEST STAFF is in there, they were wonderful even bagging ice for us. Pools are spectacular and the underwater lights in the marina were our favorite thing to do after 8:30. We saw sharks and manatees. The no fishing from the dock seems a bit wrong, but maybe there is some good reason.
Gorgeous, great service and amenities!
Amazing resort! You have the opportunity to get food and drinks by the pool, but of the bar is where you would rather be, like me, it is a short walk to the resort restaurant. The rooms are all very clean and well kept.I was there before the hurricane Dorian made land fall, during that time there was some construction and more than likely there will be some after the storm. However, the crews there were respectful and communicative. We had no issues during our stay and cant wait to go back. Good luck making it through Dorian.Shot outs to Doug, Jessica, Robert, Sarah (hostess) Jon and so many other employees who made our stay great. These are the ones making the dream come true. Thank you!
Searching in google, I found this place, I have to say that your photos are exactly what it is, I spent a few days extremely quiet and relaxing, clean, the workers were polite and available, the food was excellent, in short a beautiful experience and I recommend it 100%
One of my favourite restaurants during my stay in Key West. I had several excellent meals and cocktails here with attentive service and a beautiful view. Some of my favourite dishes were the lemon blueberry pancakes (light, fluffy and flavourful), the wonderful salads, and the fish tacos. I didnt stay in the hotel, but visited as a guest over a few days. I enjoyed the beach and kayaking, found the facilities clean, and the staff helpful. The only negative was the very noisy military jets flying overhead as they are beside a base.
Great hotel, it’s worth staying here as cheaper and speaking from experience better than the hotels closer to downtown with a free shuttle bus that takes 5 minutes to reach downtown and brings you back and fourth. The rooms are modern and well dressed the pools are lovely and 5 to use by each hotel section. The bar and restaurant does great food and everyone is very accommodating. I’ve marked this as 4 stars as some restaurant staff aren’t great and they have an 18% compulsory gratuity on anything even if you order two drinks to take away, you don’t have to pay this but most people will feel forced to, personally I’ve always left a cash tip but it seems frowned upon here!!!!! That’s not good in my eyes.
This place was beautiful! New paint, carpet, everything. Staff were very helpful and got us keys to our room in no time. There are lots of amenities such as kayaks, paddle board, etc. Nice very clean pools. Its also part of a marina so you can take fishing charters straight from here. Great restaurant on site.
Very clean and beautiful hotel. Water view, only downside is that you cannot fish around the hotel.
The pools were clean and the Service was good. The rooms were clean - spacious. Pet Friendly, Dog Park. Maintenance was - No beach access. 10 miles To Key West, Duval St. Shuttle access to 11pm
Great, very quiet and super clean place. You can use also the SUP or kayak for free. You are very close to have your private swimming pool! Get your Starbucks coffee in the hotel. 10 minutes drive to center of town, you can also ride a bike.
Worst place ever, despite paying for room 1306, one of their best room.Reaching over 500€ a night room should be perfectly clean which sadly was not the case.Far from everywhere in a middle of nowhere (Google maps) it will take you 30 minutes to get into most of Key West attraction. Could not sleep well because of the so cheap pillow and the noise. A mix between planes and swimming pools. There is a « neverdothat » again « welcome » to start with, explaining everything which is forbidden giving a map. With restrictions everywhere you are close to feel being into a luxurious jail. A closer look shows how pictures are giving a wrong impression of heaven. You won’t trust opinion given. Worst place we’ve ever been. Be careful checking out, there was a mistake on our bill. They don’t care you’re not happy. They considered you’ve made the wrong choice.
The staff is super nice and the rooms are clean and have a great view of the ocean.
I liked the amenities. The rooms are very nice too and the views are gorgeous.
Lovely resort, friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Less busy part of Key West area, but shuttle to town. Water sports and bicycles. Needs clock in room and better night light situation. Needs gift shop because there are none in walking distance for little things like hats or sunscreen. Nice restaurant and bar area.
Great price for beautiful rooms and location. Very clean.
Amazing resort!Great restaurant available with great food.Rooms are clean and very nicely designed.Good space in the room with great view over the pools and ocean. We had the suite with king bed. It was very nice and spacious. The room also had a sofa bed.The resort has six swimming pools and they offer rides to town and other sea activities. The only reason they didn’t get 5-stars, is because the fact that their breakfast and in-room dinning is very limited. Also, they close everything by 11pm, so you are stuck with limited 3-star restaurants to deliver you food.
Absolutely terrible experience. I flew in all the way from California to work...this resort’s employees lack hospitality skills. I have traveled across the World and can say this was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at as far as service goes. We spent well over 5K with all of the food and drinks we purchased. We had other options. We will not be recommending this resort to anyone else and we do several events each year. The treatment was absolutely horrendous... almost a joke. I couldn’t even get proper directions to my room in the dark upon check in. Lazy lazy.... I completely regret every dollar spent here to people who treated us terribly. Maybe you are unhappy but this is vacation for some people and to be stressed out more is ridiculous and makes your brand look very unprofessional. Also false marketing and advertising on your website. This is NOT on the ocean it’s on a marina away from literally everything. Terrible location. Beware.
I stayed at the ocean edge hotel for a weekend and the amenities and check in was really efficient. But the restaurant that I had breakfast at was horrible. The servers, hostess, and manager were so rude. We had Jana as a server, our hostess Ana, and Manager on duty was Adrian. They were all congregating and talking about how they didn’t want to serve us. Our table was dirty, glasses had lip stick stains on them, and straws were placed down on the table with no wrapping. We decided to talk to the manager but as we were talking to him, Hostess Ana was laughing about what we were saying to the manager. On top of that, the manager did absolutely nothing to help with the situation. He just said “I’m sorry you feel that way.” I decided to ask for a different server but nothing was done. It was absolutely disappointing. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked out of the restaurant with no breakfast because at that point, I didn’t feel comfortable eating their food.
Luxury resort with plenty of activities to spend. We spent here just one night. Took the shuttle bus to & from city. We liked the stay here.
It’s been another week, there are still no any response from the hotel. Even did not reply this complaint at all.==============Very disappointed. First, room was not clean. Second, my clothes were stolen at pool area. Talked to the front desk many times and they said they would have to check the cameras, but it’s been 20 days, I didn’t get any response. I called them 4 times after I left, every time they just say they will check the camera and reply me soon. The clothes were not expensive, I’m just really disappointed with their attitude and the way they do customer service. I have been here many times but now I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.服务真的烂透了,没什么好讲的,再也不会来了
Thee BEST resort we have stayed in by far! From the staff and management that greeted us upon arrival to the beautifully decorated rooms, we were truly impressed. Were definitely planning on spreading the word and returning for another stay. Its worth every penny!
Absolutely breathtaking views. Fair price for location. Staff were all.amazingly friendly. The resort is spotless. The room was quiet despite being in a large complex. Only thing is trying to find it in the dark was tough for that reason it gets only 4 stars.Over all yes I would recommend it to friends and do a return visit. Food was amazing.
Amazing place, pool and other amenities was awesome, a beautiful view, fancy room, nice bed, bit expensive. Place has rentals for fishing boats, jet skis, bikes, scooters. Definitely worth an experience if you can afford it.
Its so beautiful and comfortable!!! I really enjoyed my stay.
Great reception service. ASHWIN was so kind and helpful to us for all out need.
Located on Stock Island which is just a short distance to Key West. Its a Hidden Paradise of plush green tropical trees surrounded by beautiful ocean. The buildings were beautiful & very well maintained making it a joy just to walk around and admire the beauty. You do have to get use to the chickens, but they are everywhere in Key West!!The staff is friendly & aim to please. The watersports was a big plus & tons of fun every day. Kayaking was great fun. Paddleboarding & bicycling for free.
We Loved this place ! It was our first time in the Keys and we were happy to have chosen this hotel . Clean, staff was Extremely friendly !! I needed a can opener late night and the lady up front went into the kitchen after it closed to get one for me . The view is Amazing ! The rooms were so nice and clean . The only thing we wish it had is another spot to eat or grab a snack however, the restaurant was really good . We highly recommend .
Wow! What a nice resort and kayaking was free. I wish we had more time here.
Beautiful place to stay. Room was fabulous. Best place Ive ever stayed at. Had a King suite. The only negative thing to say is it was very pricey. But so is Key West in general.
Best view, right in the center of cool bars
Beautiful, well worth the money!!!!! Rooms were very up to date and loved the personal balcony! Only complaint was the pools were warm, which isnt much of a complaint since it was very hot. Knowledgeable and courteous staff!!!
Beautiful everything, room was very nice and comfortable. Ocean front room had a view of the marina. Breakfast was delicious, would love to stay here again.
Clean and quiet. Nice pools, friendly staff, good restaurant, and nice amenities such as kayak and paddle board rentals.
Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Beautiful resort. Very nicely landscaped starting with the entrance. Sits back in off of a side road, so you do not see hotel or entrance from main road. Exceptionally clean & modern decored rooms. 6 pools to accommodate all the buildings. Restaurant & bar right on site. Our balcony overlooked our pool & the marina. Check in is not until 4pm, check out by 11am. Price was fair for a beautiful & comfortable stay. Our room with 2 queen beds, lounge room with an extra large screen TV was $139 per night, then add $22.50 parking fee (per day), a $41.63 resort fee, plus taxes, which then added up to $220.50 per day. Our room had a very small mini fridge, plus a completely stocked fridge. Beds were comfortable. There is not a beach for swimming on site. Not a far drive though. Only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Key West where all the action is. And they do offer a free shuttle almost hourly there & back as well. It is a 100% non-smoking resort, indoors or outdoors. They do offer a free different activity for every day for guests. Fitness center for guests is open 24 hours. Allows up to 2 dogs under 50 pounds each per room. Walked the marina dock & got to see a manatee up closely, some very large fish. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful resort. Angel Torres, the front office manager, provided excellent customer service. If youre looking for the crazy Duval Street experience this may not be where you want to stay in Key West but if youre looking for a luxurious, posh resort this is it.
So peaceful great flags, tails and open air. From a greatful VETERAN and First Responder
Wonderful hotel. Excellent customer service
The rooms are comfy and beautifully decorated. Its very costly to stay but the view is breath taking and easy access to the water. Lots of charters or bring your own boat. The marina staff was exceptional. Fuel, ice. My only complaint was not many garbage cans around. The property is beautiful. Dogs are allowed. Bathrooms are great too. Everyone is nice. The restaurant was very pricey but.....the food was delicious. I had the flier mignon best Ive ever had. This resort does charge for parking most good ones do. There are 6 pools here. A tiki hut with a bar and smoking. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could see our boat, the pool, and the ocean. OA lot of the keys stink from decomposing vegetation but not at Oceans edge. There is a shuttle that runs every hour to take you into Key west. For free and bring you back to the resort. All in all we had a great time and will be back. We had 2 adults and 2 children age 10. Thank you to the staff we loved our stay! See you soon.
This is a beautiful brand new resort, friendly staff in every site. I was in spacious suite, very clean with view to ocean. But, the refrigerator is completely empty, and is disappointing when you have to go outside the property and buy bottles water, and beverages for keeping more comfortable in this place. I thought that they have to copy few ideas, from some hotels in South Beach, where you have a refrigerator completely full in beverages and snacks. Also, the resort have a problem with mosquitoes and small ants inside the room. Really we reported this problem when we did the check out in the front desk. I expect to come back. Thanks.
Fish tacos, brussel sprouts and plant based burger with sweet potato fries... Sooooo good!!!! Wish you were in Naples!!!!
