Nice All Male Hotel with interesting different rooms. Nice Tropical setting with 2 Pools and Hot Tubs. Continental Breakfast included. Do not get Room 29B though, the A/C is extremely Loud and completely inadequate for the space. Also, the Staff is Not very helpful in accommodating a room change. Staff is not very friendly period.

We loved it. Over the top resort with a smiling service. I spent my birthday few days ago. Jay, Anthony and belly did the best to feel welcomed and relaxed. We highly recommended, we will be back soon. Thank you!

Beautiful, all Male, clothing optional resort in the heart of Key West! Walking distance to Duval and local restaurants, shopping and bars. Total relaxation, excellent staff, friendly guests, great experience! Will book another trip soon.

Was down for my Christmas break in December. Was one of the most spectacular times Ive ever had. Location was awesome. Very close to a market to get quick groceries. 24/7 gym nearby. Close to Duval Street. Very friendly staff. Room was wonderful. Facilities were amazing. Two pools. Two hot tubs. Happy hour each evening. Great guided tour Christmas night to drag show downtown. Got up each morning for fantastic time around the island. And did I mention, totally hot fun!!!!!

Another perfect vacation! This was our fourth stay and the staff and immaculate property never disappoint. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff and guests all kindly adhere to the new safety measures to make everyone fell safe and have a wonderful time. A must stay in Key West!

This is my third time staying at the Equator. As always the staff is fantastic and friendly. Even during the covid-19 difficult times. They make the trip enjoyable.

The manager Anthony is amazing!! I was impressed by the wonderful staff, the rooms and overall installations are phenomenal. I love the TV channels and hot tubs ;) . Breakfast pastries are delicious.

I am extremely impressed with the attention to detail, cleanliness, and facilities this resort offers. The included breakfast is plentiful with lots of breads, muffins, fruit, and cereals. The bar is a great size (and you can dangerously charge everything to the room). The two pools and two hot tubs are beautiful. And there are enough places to lounge even when its crowded. Well worth the money spent for the quality and cleanliness received here. I highly recommend and I will certainly stay here again!

Wow! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our anniversary and for his birthday. We scoured all around key west for places to stay and after reading the reviews for Equator we decided to book. When we arrived Anthony was very warm and welcoming and showed us to our room and gave us a tour along the way. The free happy hour and the breakfast are nice amenities. All areas were clean and there were always pool towels available. Returning next year for a longer stay. Very inclusive with all different types of people staying also. Gracias!

We selected the Equator Resort to spend our Christmas holiday and greatly enjoyed ourselves and the staff. Our room was on the 3rd floor which gave us a grand view of Key West and all the eye candy below us hovering around the pools. The room was very clean and well appointed. The sheets were perfectly clean and the shower too. The timing of our visit brought us to a drag show at Aqua Club where we had free tickets compliments of the Equator. The show was entertaining and deserving of a special 5-Star review of its own. We were so well care for we felt like the star of the show. All the staff were accommodating and super friendly at the resort. They treated us as special guests at every encounter. We mingled with all the guests at breakfast and cocktail hour. We could now have had a better experience anywhere else. Thank you to the men of the Equator and their guests for making our Christmas special and memorable. We will be back again.

Great resort! Staff is very friendly and rooms are very nice! There were two different hot tubs and pools so you could be in the sun or shade. Breakfast was included and had some yummy options. We would definitely recommend and single/couple men to stay here!

Wonderful resort. The staff was great, friendly and went out of their way to ensure every part of our stay was outstanding. The room was spotless and clean. We went for a wedding and were there only for a long weekend but will definitely go back for a extended stay soon. Far above the other male only resorts in town. This a First Class establishment. I go to Key West about once a month and regularly stay at Equator. Every room is different and unique, you want to try them all. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Two heated pools and two hot tubs make for a relaxing trip. Happy house poolside is a great way to make new friends. Really a great place to stay. Drive down from South Florida or fly in from other parts of the world, Equator Resort is great guesthouse for the gay traveler.

Friendly staff all around. Great facilities including, two pools, two hot tubs and a small sundeck. Daily happy hour for guests and Saturday pool parties open to the male public. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Location is an easy walk to Duval but far enough away that you can enjoy some quiet.

Very nice place. I give 3 stars only because we stay for one night and we want to stay more but unfortunately was full but we ask Bobby if we can stay for the day at the pool and he say one you get out you cant come back. I feel like for $400 I should can stay for the day.

Nice area and staff. Free drinks on happy hour are awesome. TV sucked in the room and had to clean out the drain in the shower for it to drain. Plus the faucet handle popped right off and stains on the comforter but all in all not the worst.

We booked at Equator as a second choice since Island House was full... turns out we liked it more! Super friendly and relaxed atmosphere, our room was very cute and cozy, the shower top notch, humongous with two heads. They have two pools, we brought our friends over to hanged out all evening during the happy our and had a blast. The staff was so nice to us at all times! I also liked the fact that not only our clean but all facilities were very clean and updated. Definitely coming back.

Very friendly staff and well maintained facilities. The daily open bar happy hour doesnt hurt either. We were in room 23 and this one has NO storage in the bathroom for toiletries and such, except for a thin rim around the sink. Also, one of the special channels was offline during our entire stay, but there were six others, so not a big deal. Everything else was great.

Its only my second day here, but so far I am very satisfied with my stay. The place has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, all operational 24/7 and a happy hour every day with complimentary drinks. My room is a bit on the small side, but I cant really complain about it either since it has everything I need plus the private balcony compensates for the overall size .

I recently made my first trip to Key West, and had the opportunity to reside at Equator. New to any type of tropical resort destination, Equator felt right at home the moment I walked in. The staff, other guests, and grounds were impeccable. I was truly relaxed and disconnected during my stay here. It is in a great location, unless you are physically unable to walk, I highly recommend staying on foot and enjoying all the island has to offer just a short distance from Equator. I felt no judgement or self-awareness due to the clothing optional policy, it was a truly classy and elegant experience. Thank you Equator, and Bobby and the rest of the staff!

Staff does an excellent job of enhancing your staff. Accommodations are as good as a 5 star hotel. Definitely a great place to stay in a tropical surrounding.

We stayed here this weekend for 2 nights, and I have to say, its a great place, and would def stay there again. First off, Bobby who greeted us at the front desk was amazing...gave us such a warm welcome, was super friendly, and allowed us to upgrade to a much nicer room, with a much nicer view (the room I booked was nice, but a tad dark), and provided some great tips on where to dine. The facility is super clean (which is so important to us), as are the grounds, the amenities cant be beat, it is quite laid back and provides a relaxing atmosphere, is in a very safe, quiet yet convenient location (just a short walk to Duval St), and close to the other clothing optional guest houses if you want to visit for their happy hours. Speaking of which, The Equator has a great one from 5pm-6:30pm, and free drinks for guests. Speaking of the guests, they were also great...many nudists, without it being intense, if you know what I mean...very casual. So if youre planning a visit to Key West, I would highly recommend this place...I give it 5 stars!!!

Resort was clean, the front desk staff was very polite and professional, with a pleasant demeanor. The support staff that cleans the resort were neutral...they could be a little friendlier as I found them to be a bit disconnected and aloof. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Location was very good and walking distance to a lot of the action on Duval. We got in a bit late and the check in was fast as there was someone at the front. Only point that wasnt the best is that parking is almost impossible around the resort. Its all street parking with very limited parking for visitors...its mostly for residents. So get ready to have to either drop your bags at the front and go and wander and park or drag your bag for a few blocks to get to the resort. The breakfast was simple, but good. Pool area was nice and clean with plenty of towels available. I didnt get to take part in the happy hour, but it seemed to be popular as there were a lot of people by the pool during that time every day. The guests that were staying at the resort were all very nice and friendly. Good conversation and we made a few new friends. Will definitely be returning! A very nice experience overall.

After the four hour drive down to Key West I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival! Fantastic front desk staff, thanks Oscar! As much as I would like to keep this posh inn all to myself, I. highly recommend it to any and all!

Great place to come and relax. Its in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Duval for entertainment but far enough away to bypass the excitement of the busy street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Happy Hour is great for meeting the other guests of the resort, if you chose to. Parking spaces is a bit of an issue but it is Key West! 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis and a poolside bar. Will definitely be returning soon!

When I check in my room was not ready, but I dont mind because I enjoy the nice pool area while I was waiting for my room. I did not wait that long and soon my room was ready the front desk clerk help my with my suit case to my room. I was very happy with my room, beautiful and comfortable away from the swimming pool area. Most of the front desk staff friendly and some of them attentive. The support staff most of them dont look friendly or smile and they look like they have been trained not to greet the guests. This is very private place, clean and comfortable and near the Duval Street. In addition, nudity is allow around the pool area, which make it very interested. If you like the freedom of being naked this place is for you. I will recommend this place for anyone that is looking for privacy and comfort. This is my first time at Equator Resort, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Key West. September 2016, 6 days.I went back October 15, 2017. I had the best time,better than 2016. The staff did a wonderful work.The only disapointment was that the small hot tub was not working and the ATM machine by the lobby did not work either. Lots of improvement, thanks to the handsome and good looking manager, Anthony. Going back again!

I loved my stay at Equator. The staff was very friendly. They gave a quick tour of the premises and showed me to my room. The room was fantastic. It was very clean and they had all sorts of literature on where to go and what to do. There was also that boring hotel station on the TV. The other quests were very friendly. Its a clothing optional resort but no one preassured you into your birthday suit. They have a free happy hour from 5-630. There is a free cotinental breakfast from 8 to 1030. The location is great. Its 3 blocks from Duval Street. The whole area is very LGBT friendly.

Booked a four day stay for New Years 2016 on January 5, 2015, confirmation sent, reconfirmed in March 2015 then cancelled by the resort on October 29, 2015. Even though the room was confirmed, the contract was not honored unless we purchased additional days – ones we would not use. As a result, our stay was cancelled, we were no accommodated at all, lost airfare and event ticket costs. No effort was made to reimburse the additional loss of funds (airline, New Year’s tickets) – quite to the contrary, we were told that that was not their issue. Incredibly rude management. I was hung up on, treated, very rudely, definitely not a place we would stay.
