Great little place in the heart of key west. Had a good time. Staff help me out with all the questions I had

It is a nice place but some things could of been better. Our room only had one toilet, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, and the blinds did not block lights from outside. The staff were not the friendliest. Also, our room had no bathtub.

Beautiful resort...staff was awesome and helpful every step of the way! Great pools and the rooms were well updated...great kitchens!! We loved it here. Great history. Thanks so much guys!!!

Wonderful laid back atmosphere. Spend a day by the pool for complete relaxation. Units are clean and comfortable. Close to everything that you want to see in Key West.

One of our favorite places! Everything you could ever want right in the middle of town. Beautiful pools and garden’s with in walking distance of everything! Nice rooms and tiki bar right in the middle of it all!

Terrible customer service. The manager was so rude to me! I could not believe it. The place was also very run down. They charge a fortune for parking when down the street its less for all day parking. Dont recommend this place.

In spite of the pandemic, Banyan makes you feel welcome and cared for. Beautiful facility, and Im glad we had a ground floor condo! Nice pools, tiki hut for drinks, and the best location for restaurants and fun. 10 minutes from everything!

Paradise in the keys! Convenient location to main attractions in Key West. A block off of Duval Street, a 5 minute walk to Mallory Square, a short bike ride to Ft. Zachary park, a few minute walk to the KW lighthouse, Hemingway house and the infamous Green Parrot Bar! A short bike ride to KW Cemetery and Olde Town! Fair rates. Full kitchens in every unit. A good tiki bar and full bar at the pool area. There are two pools adult and family. Some of the units are old restored homes. The property is well maintained. The gardens and banyan trees are beautiful.

Perfect location - we could walk everywhere in Old Town Key West including Fort Zachary Taylor beach, Mallory Sq, restaurants. Beautiful gardens and gorgeous old banyan trees. We stayed in a room with 4 people - a queen and a sofa bed. It was very comfortable. Hot tub and pools were great as well. Highly recommend.

Been coming down to Key West 31 years Banyan is our Fav. A very fun and good value for Key West in famous Old Town across the street from the Truman Annex - near everything - perfect and focused for adults 25 and up (avoids loud spring breakers).Tropical Garden views, two pools, very reasonably priced Tiki bar with cooked food. Nice staff. Just steps from many venues of live entertainment and basic restaurants to roof top and fine dining. 4 minute walk to the famous Sunset and live Theater.They also have bicycles for rent on site which is a perfect way to get about to touristy venues like Southernmost Point in US and Ft. Zachery. We bike around the entire island. If you have never been, its a nice place to stay at least three or more days (5 plus recommended if you want the most fun and experience). Lots to see and do.Its all rental and for owners. There is a separate office with an agent for unit resales, but no pesty sales people. Very relaxing and low key.

Quite and cozy I come every couple years

My family has owned a time share here since 1985. This place has weathered not just the storms that have passed through, but also the inevitable development of the area. It is a unique place where you can still experience Old Key West. Truly authentic, superbly located and perfectly comfortable and quaint accommodations (not to mention two pools and a hot tub), you simply cannot go wrong staying at The Banyan.

Every where you go on this place there are stairs and other obstacles to negotiate. Ramps are. non- existing. Theres an 8 inch step into the shower. There are about 10 steps to the registration desk. Not the right place for anyone with mobility issues

Lovely resort just minutes walk from Mallory Square, restaurants and shops. Stayed here for one night but most guests I met stayed for a lot longer.On site parking is available for $25 which is convenient. Free coffee is served in the morning by the pool side and is a great way to take in the atmosphere of the resort.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I had the chance to go to Key West.

Holy schnikes! The Banyon is GORGEOUS! Looks like theyve upgraded all their bathrooms and furniture. We stayed in unit 404. Theres a nice sized bedroom with a spacious closet, a separate living/dining area with a full kitchen, and a beautiful porch-patio with a table and chairs. The ceilings are vaulted and the windows provide terrific light. Central air conditioning made it nice and chilly. This is our favorite room in Key West. Enjoy!

Place was same as 1993 last time I stayed. Charming and oddly aloof. Staff is ok, kind of standoffish, though the young woman checking us in was very nice. Ma Barker was another story, but Key West is weird that way with B&B commanders. Biggest disappointment was loud drunk Boomers at the pool after midnight and that dang security light outside our suite that kept us awake all night. Invest in motion sensor, you can afford it. All in all, a lovely place that needs some charm update.

Great property, perfect location. The jacuzzi was nice and private surrounded by lots of foliage. Perfect key west resort!

Small, intimate place-- 36 apartments-- well located across street from Truman annex, everything a short walk or bike ride away. 2 pools, 1 salt water, both with solar heating, beautiful gardens, well maintained, very clean. Secure premises, a bit noisy on a Saturday night is only drawback.

Very select no riff raff so it was a surprise that they let me in!

We are a family of 4. This hotel is way to small for 4 people. One of the beds was a pull out couch. The bed upstairs was small. The floors were dirty and the stove area. There were bugs all over the pull out bed. Thankfully they were not bed bugs. I think they were termites. It was still gross. However it was 2 nights and we dealt with it. Another down fall was on top of paying $585 for 2 nights they turned around and charged $25 a night for parking. On a positive note the staff were very nice and accommodating. The property if beautiful! Also the location was perfect!

The Banyan Hotel is a gorgeous historic home that is subdivided into lovely, updated apartments with kitchen, living area, bedroom and private bath. The maximum number of guests per unit seems to be 4 which was the only problem for our family of 6 as we were split across two apartments. However, this was a small matter and was more than made up for by the amazing location of the hotel which is just around the corner from the downtown area and the major tourist attractions. The landscaping of the hotel is gorgeous and the pool is divine. I have fond memories of sleeping with the window open listening to the wind, the merriment downtown and the roosters crowing in the morning! We all loved it!

I did not stay there, i worked there for many years. Your photos do not do justice to the the resort (is it still a timeshare?)A beautiful property, just a block from Duval street, close to Mallory Square...which, by the way, my parents and Tennessee Williams among others invited, back in the 1960s. There used to be approx. 20 people there. Now...go figure. How about highlighting the big banyan tree in back, the braided roots, the knots, roots growing thru rocks over the decades. Pathways. More photos of the rooms. It used to be a charming place, quirky, magical. Your photos are not enticing nor inviting. Perhaps the place has changed, as all things do over time. But ya gotta get a new photographer for your website.I would not stay there by your photos/website.Good luck!!Sincerely,Disappointed.Winsome

It was amazing. Was not my first time there, but it was for my adult daughter and she was ready to move in! The location is perfect, the ambiance was breathtaking, and the service went above and beyond. From the check in to the check out, it was a perfect three days!

What an exqisit place.The architecture stands out among the other homes.Beautiful palms sway and the pristine paint as a backdrop offer a sharp contrast which accentuates the layers of beauty.We are touched by seeing this place.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The pools/gardens and house were beautiful! It was a treat to sit out in the rocking chairs on the porch, under amazing tree canopies and relax. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished.The one thing that let us down was the pull-out sofa for the 3rd guest. The mattress and frame of the pull-out sofa were so lumpy (soft and bowed) that the person sleeping on the sofa had to arrange themselves diagonally into a trough-like position to be able to sleep waking up in the mornings with a stiff back. This piece of furniture needs to be replaced or the room should not be offered to accommodate 3 guests.Apart from the sofa-bed, we very much enjoyed or stay at the Banyan! It is located very centrally and everything is within walking distance. We would return to it and recommend it to others!

Quiet, quaint, away from the fray but still close enough to walk to everything, really nice property, unique apartments, historical.

It was a great stay! Pricier stay then maybe other places but it was worth it. Across from Truman Annex, Safe area, one block off Duval. two blocks from Warf/ Sunsets. We stayed on the ground level facing street so view was great. Pool side is different. Banyan trees are incredible.

Booked a smoking room but all the rooms are no smoking!!! Otherwise pretty place

Overall very good experience, the place is in excellent location, in the heart of the city, you can walk to many places. The room was clean and overal good. Hotel amenities as well. Would stay here again, if I visited Key west again.

So pleased with this place. Three of us stayed here, in room 302, and we had a great experience. The staff is wonderful- very friendly and explained everything so well- and the location is perfect... Very clean and quiet, but in the middle of everything and everywhere you want to be :) Great vacation spot!!

Just stayed here for a couple nights and it was great!! The place is beautiful, staff are nice and very helpful, and the rooms were clean. It is in the perfect location and close to everything. I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended, so much better than a hotel!

The location is amazing, super close to Duval. Very close to everything in old Town. Facilities were great. Staff is helpful when checking in and if you have any questions at all. Rooms are very nice and include all full kitchens with plates, cups, knives, coffeepot, etc. Would love to visit again!

Wonderful location and great staff. Beautiful and secluded resort with 2 pools a spa and lush vegitation only one block off Duval. As soon as you step on the property you forget the party atmosphere of Duval and just soak up the relaxation.

Great staff. Love being so close to Duval. No comparison to hotel options. Well definitely be returning.

Overall an ok experience but we did not find the resort accommodating to our needs. The front desk was not very friendly when we checked in. While my parents checked in, my fiancé and I asked if we could take the keys to use the bathroom in our apartment. The front desk lady told us not to touch the keys and that we had to use the pool bathroom while she gave a 30 minutes talk about the resort and the facilities. Apartment was very nice but number 803 is extremely noisy and the kitchen was lacking cooking tools like pans for the oven or a dish drying rack. Also, we had to take our own trash and recycling out of the room which just added time to our checkout. Just to note, the resort fee only includes the pool and does not include bicycle rental fees or parking.Overall, not the best experience for the price but it’s a good enough location if you can get it less than $400 a night (make sure to go all of the way to checkout online because they add loads of fees at the end).

I Love the Banyan Inn. Its a great location and the pools are lovely and thed hot tub works. The staff is wonderful. The Manager was lovely and gave My twin sister and I a nice little upgrade. Best birthday trip ever.

Unit great - pool not pristine. Parking is tight but doable, maybe a little overpriced.

Our unit was located on the third floor. It was extremely clean, and had tons of space. Love the shower. Our privet deck space was a dream. The pool, and grounds were well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had bikes for rent and we used them while in key west. We will stay here again! Very satisfied! :)

The resort was in a perfect location for convenience to Duvall Street and other sites.

I suggest this place to anyone! And make sure you have breakfast by the pool its incredible.

Been to the property to look around and the view is breathtaking. The Banyan Timeshare and resort is for people who can afford this place starting at $400 a night. No pets allowed, and not really much for children or teens to do, it is more for adults. There is a pool and tiki bar available.Concierge is available till 10pm, they will call to arrange for bike rentals, sunset cruises, snorkeling and fishing, referral to the best places and make dinner reservations.I highly recommend staying here, the rooms are really nice.

My first time at Key West Florida and staying in the Banyan was great.The studio room we were in was beautiful with a kitchen. Plus it was in plus it is in a perfect place one block away from Duval Street and two blocks from the famous Mallory Square.

Service was great because there was a mess up on their part but they fixed it and we were very satisfied with the fix!

All stuffs were very kind and have a lot of knowledge about this area.It was very nice stay.

We stayed recently and were very surprised when we got to our room, more like a condo. It was very nice, close to everything and the staff were amazing. Our room wasnt quite ready when we got there but they let us leave our bags, took our number and called us when the room was ready. When it was time to check out they told us we were welcome to stay at the pool as long as we wanted to. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful little cottages tucked away in amazing banyon trees. The resort was very clean and well maintained. The daily bike rentals made traveling the island a breeze. Four stars because the staff was very strange. Me and my entire family agree that their public arguments were offputting.

The place is gorgeous, its in walking distance to everything, and the staff is friendly and helpful, the only complaint I have is for the price the rooms could be updated and cleaned up some... The front door to our unit had to have all three locks engaged to stay shut, the bedspread looked like it hadnt been dry cleaned or replaced in at least 15 years, and my bedroom door had a broken piece that has obviously been broken a long time... But the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked like a dream so overall it was fantastic just figured with all that money they could make the place a little cleaner looking...

Stayed in a studio off the pool. Room was great. Great location, comfortable Murphy bed and grounds were gorgeous. Only complaint is that they like to leaf blow the grounds at 7:30am, which was VERY annoying.

Great place! Always hospitable and clean each year we come. Staying here for like 9 or 10 years running.

Stayed in 104 off Eaton. Beautiful clean suite, charming staff, georgous grounds... We are now looking at buying a unit! Family friendly and centrally located. Very safe and easy to get around.

We stayed in unit 805 and enjoyed it immensely. It was located on the third floor and there are only stairs. The location is top notch one street off ducal. Close enough to walk but far enough to get away from the noise. They do have quite a few rules and policies so pay attention or else you could get charged- example if you dont wash dishes that you used they will charge you $25.Small pools but they never seemed over crowded. Beautiful banyan tree in front is something to see. If you want a unique place to stay in key west then book here!

Wow! The gardens and pool areas are outstanding and fun. Massive Banyan trees. The full service tiki bar and grill is very convenient. Daily rates are competitive for the quality and proximity to Duval and Old Town.

I didnt stay here but I was there meeting some of our group. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and it was well priced and in the heart of down town.
