The day was a bit cool, but the park was nice and clean as always. A wedding reception was in the main building and they were getting photos outside. We saw another guy fishing and a runner came past us. Otherwise, the park was quiet and empty, but this is expected on colder days.

I love this park. It has something for everyone. It has lots of walking areas, a little fishing area, swan boats, a garden area to sit and relax, playgrounds and splash pads. You can also catch beautiful views from the Yanney tower. My niece also absolutely loves the splash pads in the summer (thats right... plural... they have two).

A most creative park. Several childrens areas, high observation tower, unique gardens, boat and board rentals, extensive hiking/biking/walking trails.

We love to go here! The view from the observation tower is amazing. My daughter loves to play on the playgrounds and the splash pads (yes, there are more than one of each!). Mommy loves the shade! I cant wait to rent a paddle boat again-we rented one once with a friend and her sons. The kids had a blast! The mommies did all the work!

Yanney park is a great place to get a walk/run/bike in. Fishing is fun there too. Playground and splash pad for the kiddos. The tower is 120 stairs from ground level to the top with an amazing view of the Kearney skyline and community. Always a great time at Yanney.

Great park for some family fun. Splash pad and playground equipment is great and my kids are always making new friends. They also have a great bike riding/walking path and they have free wifi. Lots of shady spots to sit and have a family picnic as well. Plus they have movies and concerts etc at the theater out by the water. You can also rent kayaks etc and go out on the water.

Great play park for kids (in our case as driving across NE). Has internet and some water features for the kids to get wet in the summer. Nice picnic tables and facilities.

Went for the staircase that goes higher than a water tower. Water tower! Called it definitely a good view. Probably more enjoyable with someone to go with though. I well.

I really like this place. My wife and I took our dogs there too walk around and enjoy some different place. There are a lot of different activities to do and you get a lot of fresh air. The people there seemed very pleasant. For me and my wife it was just a fun relaxing day. If you want an enjoyable day, get off the couch and your computers and gaming systems and enjoy a day outside.Try something new, You wont be disappointed.

This is a beautiful park. There is so much to do and most of it is free. Great for kids. We were passing through as part of a road trip and the splash pad was perfect for the little ones to play and stretch their legs. Love that the designers had families in mind when they built it. Highly recommend.

Awesome gem in Kearney. Visiting from another city and we were really impressed with the big water section for the kids. The lake was neat too. We rented a swan peddle boat, a bit tricky to figure out. I think that was due to us, not the actual boat. Sidenote: swans on the lake, they are not so friendly if you get too close to them.

Yanney Park is really wonderful. It is great for strolling, power walking, sitting and enjoying the pond, or letting your kids play on a great playground. There is a tower you can climb, with lots of stairs, to exercise, or just to see the spectacular view. There is very clean modern restrooms with a drinking fountain indoors. There are facilities to rent for occasions. There are picnic tables to use by the playground. We love Yanney Park.

Always a fun time for the family. Very clean and well kept grass. Beautiful parks for the kiddos of all sizes. Wonderful walking trail around the pond. Great view from atop the tower. Most importantly, open and clean bathrooms! Very highly recommended for an afternoon at the splash park or a quick lunch outside!

We spend a lot of time here in the summer. Just beautiful even after the flood. Looks forward to the water pads being open again!

Great park to spend time at, has many offerings for things to do in any season. Park features an observation tower, ample parking, paddle boat and kayak rentals, two splashpad playgrounds, outdoor amphitheater, and hiking path.

There is fishing here, and you can even rent a boat. There are a couple of facilities that can be rented for a good price. A path goes around the lake, and a couple playgrounds, including a splash park. Picnic tables and benches are all around. There is also an outdoor theater where the local troupe puts on shows, and a tall tower you can go up to overlook everything.

Its a wonderful place to walk and think, large and small enough to have a good amount of personal space without feeling particularly alone. The labyrinth is a great meditation.

Kearneys version of the Stratosphere. Minus the casino, restaurants and rides. It also might be 1000 feet shorter, but you get the idea. Nice park with a cool view from the tower. If you see me there, lets race to the top. If you win, I will pay for your admission.

Did not disappoint. We love to come there when traveling through Kearney. It is always clean and never seems to be crowded. One of my favorite spots.

I absolutely love coming here. They have so much to do. The kid parks are awesome and the tower is as well. The pathways are nice. Sometimes places make pathways too skinny but these are perfect. The fact that they include a water fountain for our furry friends makes this place all the more better. I enjoy myself everytime I come out to Yanney.

Yanney is a beautiful spot! Picnic areas, splash pads, playgrounds, fishing (largemouth, channel, trout, bluegill), paddle boats and access to the hike and bike trail. Just a great place!

Great for dog walking, bringing kids to the playground, or fishing.

Nice place for walks and I liked bass fishing there also topwaters was the trick.

This park is very beautiful. The amphitheater has many plays done in the summer which are always great for the family. Common spot to do some relaxing fishing in the lake here. Great exercising area with a sidewalk that spans around the park. There are 2 water parks for the kids to have fun at during the hot days. A great building to host weddings and birthday parties. Also you can ride the boats through the lake. My personal favorite is the Yanney tower where you can see all of Kearney from. Such a great sight for anyone.

Beautiful park. Gorgeous spaces. Multiple play areas for kids, including two splash pads for summer fun. Fishing on a beautiful lake, mute swans, water activities. Meditation/prayer labyrinth, overlook tower, amphitheater overlooking the lake, lots of green spaces, and an adjoining paved walking path that runs for miles of beautiful hiking.

A beautiful, one of a kind park.This place had playgrounds and a splash pad for the kids, an outdoor gym, a senior center, a run/bike trail, fishing, boat rentals, an observatory, about everything to have a great outdoor time.Always a great spot for a walk around the lake, take on the view and relax.And its only around 10 minutes off of I-80, worth the break from driving of you are passing through.

Was impressed with the park, wish there was more shade though. Tried to use the elevator at the tower but didnt work, Im to old to walk all those stairs, but that was a few years ago, I think i heard the elevator works now. The little water park for kids is cool. They have benches everywhere to sit and enjoy the views. Tranquil !! Good for all ages!
