We had a great time at the park. There was a little something for everyone. We got to ride horses with Christines Horseback Riding . Beautiful park that is oeaceful and quiet, yet at the same time you can fish or just have a cook out.

Fun place to go with dogs. Plenty of room to walk and play. Nice disc golf course, no swimming right now as the swim area looks like its been dry for a while and plenty of bones from whatever died with the disappearance of the water.

So gorgeous this time of year. Perfect for a picnic. Only downside was the bugs but not much you can do about that.

Always relaxing. My friend & I both have large variety of different species of parrots (him, more-so than I) & we love to take them kayaking, sitting out just underneath the huge cottonwood trees or just riding around the park w/them in tow. Great time to just get in s ok me buddy time & catch up, let our animals enjoy eackothers company more... Enjoy Gods beauty!!

Kids love going out to cotton mill. Sometimes we go to swim, sometimes to feed the ducks and sometimes we just walk around. Also check out the animal farm. Great place to go to get out for a bit.

I love this place. It is always a pleasure to visit. So peaceful and the trails are well marked.

This was the first time that I had been to Cottonmill in 15 years. Kearney has done a great job of making this place a clean and fun park for anglers and families.

Lots of wilderness paths, kids love feeding the geese. The swimming pond is great for family time and a picnic for lunch.

Cottonmill is a hidden gem of the disc golf world. Its about 5-10 minutes off of I-80 so unless you know about it or are looking for it, its easy to miss.Be warned, this is a tough course. A lot of quick and deep doglegs coupled with surrounding woods or lake on every hole make this a technical masterpiece. Sometimes youll have to dig your disc out of the brush when you flick it just wrong and catch an updraft that takes you way off the green, but at the end of the day, its a beautiful course and I recommend it to anybody who enjoys disc golf at anything more than a simply hobby level.

Great fishing tonight my boys were pulling in the bass and bluegill like crazy. Plus there was a pike hanging out.. we never got him though. The fishing has always been fun here for years. Very healthy ecosystem.

Nice little lake outside of town. It can get a bit crowded, but there are a lot of things you can do out here. The lake itself is not for swimming, but you can rent paddle boats and kayaks or bring your own. Fishing and a hike and bike trail are out here as well.

It is my go-to lake for relaxed fishing. Even if you dont catch anything, you walk away with a peaceful couple of hours. Is well kept, full of activities, and is a popular place for professional photo sessions.

Nice face but hard to get around in a wheelchair

Been here several times while driving through. Lots of room run and play. Took our golden retrievers and they loved it as well. Plenty of space for bigs crowds. Some cars do drive down the main drag a little fast, so watch out for your dogs and kids, but still a great overall park.

Love spending time either walking my dogs or just wandering around watching nature. They have kayaks, swimming lake, frisbee golf, you can fish, have a picnic under a picnic shelter, there are lots of activities to enjoy at Cottonmill.

Love the place, landscape and scenery are beautiful. Plenty of shelter houses with privacy if thats what you seek. Lots of large mouth bass for fishing, and pan fish. Good place to kayak or canoe, water holes to swim in. Plenty of trails, and a frisbee golf course. Big place great for gatherings with friends and family.

Large fishing lake, as well as a small swimming lake, has grilling areas, good walk/hike paths, and a very difficult frisbee golf course. You can rent small water craft such as kayaks and canoes and such. Also has an animal barn. Large densely forested park.

Cottonmill is a good day park offering: fishing, frisbee golf, hiking trails, biking, and much more. Additionally, it provides access to the hike and bike trail, as well as, Old Father Prairie.

Good place to go to to just fish and if your doing it right then you can catch a really nice bass.

Nothing to see or do as you drive threw Nebie- if only you find this spot a spectacular place to walk or hike or picnic or swim or bike or fish . Giant cotton wood trees too. Kearny has Thia an Indian food too.

Id go there for drone flights, trail walking and just get lost in my mind.

Loved the swimming area, we took our infant for her first swim. The lake looked nice and we wanted to take out a pedal boat but it was too hot for the little one. Will definitely try and make a trip back when we are in town.

Very nice place to go for a quick drive, has 3 really pretty walking trails. During the summer they have swimming,kayak, paddle boat rentals,a nature barn, amphitheatre for weddings and a lodge for reserving for family gatherings. It is open year round though.
