Super pretty. Lots of trees, bushes and flowers along the trail. Good for walking or riding bikes, and the have a couple sports fields. The pond with the fountain was very relaxing to listen to while walking too.

This is a heavenly nature park ️sophisticated trail that is paved very well. I really like the thoughtful design.Lots of benches in a reasonable distance. Plants and trees are having name boards that tell the name of the species.Lake with fountain that invites water based living things and it invites birds and has alligators and the eco balancing poisonous snakes.Over are it gives wild and comfortable experience for hikers.Must visit place.

Such a unique park .Found this place while I was driving around. Great place to walk your dog, write a bike, or workout. Definitely gives it a City vibe. Sorta reminds me of the park near the medical center. Theres unique art displayed and bridge. Theres also a few wild animals that youll see. Cute date idea. Free of course

Was a unique park, trails go all the way into town by convenient stores and restaurants. Has plants and trees labeled by what they are which I though was cool.

Great place to walk or bike around

Lovely park, paved 1/2 mile circuit, gazebo overlooking the pond with water spraying up in the center. All planes and trees are labeled with the type they are. Turtles sunning themselves, herons and egrets fishing. My dog takes me there most mornings for a walk and they have poop bag dispensers and receptacles located around the circuit along with trash cans. Great place for a picnic. No bathrooms.

A very clean area. Dogs are welcome here as well.

An excellent walking park with ample lighting. The path has many different trees and vegetation with sign describing the items. Distance markers allow you to know your walking or jogging distance. There are enough benches to use to chat and enjoy the view.

Really nice park tucked away in Katy. Nice walking paths but be careful of snakes. There are signs posted to watch out for snakes and alligators. Best to go before it gets dark because it’s not very well lit at night. Had a pleasant time.

Beautiful park, well designed with paved walking trail/Cycling Trail. Lots of trees around the park. The trail goes around a small lake with a water fountain. There is a beautiful bridge to cross the small creek.You can find lots of benches around the walking trail if you want to take a break. There is a small pavilion to enjoy the small lake and the surroundings.Park is clean, and well-maintained and few downsides are I didnt saw any restrooms or port-a-potties around. No kids play area.Have a fairly small parking lot.

Safe park. There is always a cop on duty. The inner track is of .5 miles. It’s a paved path with a fountain and a place to relax and see birds and turtles. Good spot to spend an hour. Peaceful place.

Absolute beauty. I love this park. The beautifully architectural designs as well as the curved trails makes walking on that park a delight. The giant letters also provide an artistic and aesthetic effect on the park. Lots of spaces to sit, walk, and have family time. I recommend this park.

Love this park. Definitely one of the best in the Katy area. Pretty, well maintained with lots of plants and bushes. Only complaint is that there are no restrooms.Other details: path is paved, security patrols occasionally, there is lighting along the path. Ajsi present are benches and labeling signs adjacent to the plants they identify. And if you happen to play Pokemon GO... This place is awesome for that with multiple ex Raid gyms and pokestops.

Loop trail is about 85 percent shaded as the trees are maturing. Well laid out pocket park.

I love this place. In summer you can see few snakes coming out so be careful, but I guess they are not the harmful ones.This park is beside Mason Creek Trail and there is a big ground beside it as well where we played cricket often. There is even parking place so its very good.

This is a very nice little park. It is a good spot to just walk around for a bit. This is also an excellent park for playing Pokemon go. There are multiple pokestops and more.

Great Pokemon go friendly park!

Great place to walk if you play Pokemon go its a good place to start and walk however the one big draw back is there is no restroom there so plan ahead other than that love the place always go there once a week.

Rick Rice Park is a wonderful place to walk during the day. It does not seem to have lights for evening walking though. My only real complaint is that there are no restrooms on site though there are several nearby restaurants and a CVS very close by.

Park is well taken care of and beautiful. Long trails for running or walking.Well secured, police patrol it often at night just to make sure no one is there after hours thats the only down side. Cant do not sWalks here...

Google maps take you to the back of a car dealership. It’s off Kingsland to the right after Westgreen. Nice little half mile trail for walking/jogging.

Great walking and biking park. Soccer fields for use as well. One of the better areas in west houston for pokemon go.

Nice place for a walk. It could be safer though and Ive had at least one experience here that makes me less likely to go here alone. There is some animal life here, including a gator. Watch out for the baby turtles when riding on the pathway. My friend and I moved this one closer to the water.

Beautiful park with magnificent views you can appreciate from different sitting areas.Also its a great token of appreciation to our veterans.Being in the Katy area you may not have good signal unless youre with Verizon :)

Good place to walk!

The park has a great half mile track situated around a huge retention pond with turtles, rabbits, and egrets living there. Its well maintained, and it links to longer biking and walking trails in several directions, but is rarely crowded.
