Amazing park! I love the fact that I can walk on the water as there are many bridges and the water areas. It’s really nice for a walk and spend a quality time in nature! I believe I saw a few baby alligators and wish to see adult ones someday. It’s nice for skateboarding or longboard as well. Will have to try next time but it’s a great place so once corona is calming down it’s great for family friends gathering spot as well! Come and have a great time! Cheers

I love this park. My dog isnt a very friendly dog, but there is so much space here that theres always a spot for us to play at. Its also a very clean park with benches and two playgrounds for the kids. They have courtesy dog waste bags in case you need them. Trash cans available as well.

My family came here for a bike ride when stay home restrictions started to be eased. I chose this park because I expected it to be less crowded than other local parks, and it turned out great. The paths were comfortably wide, which I really appreciated since Im new to bike riding. The circular path branched off a few times, which leaves a lot of opportunity to keep things interesting when we go back. There are multiple entry/exit points from the path to the parking lot, and multiple lookout points over the lake. On the far end of the loop is a fence that separates the park from a field, which is great because my toddler loves to look at grazing cows. The parking lot was very big, and there were fields for softball in between the parking lot and nature area. The best part is that this park is about the same distance from our home as our usual, more crowded park.There were some ants when I sat down for a minute, but thats expected when youre outside. I spotted a few benches which I might use next time.

Our dog simply. loves it!There is an area where a.small puddle forms. She loves to get in there and get all muddy. We...not quite enjoy that much

Visited this park a week ago on a beautiful Sunday every softball field out there was in full play. Softball is the thing for that part I loved it.

This is a secret park! I had no idea it existed until my husband found it driving one day. Very clean, great for going for a stroll or biking. But hardly no trees - be mindful of the time of day you go with our Houston heat!

Pretty nice park for a dog walk or try to catch some bird photos. Wont be much useful in the hot summer months as the park has very little shaded areas. It is not too far from Houston and probably not known much except the locals. Those were taken early morning in Aug, by 8AM it was already too hot.

Huge park with nearly unlimited parking, cricket fiels, softball fields, 2 dog parks, jungle gym for the kids, nice clean restrooms, fishing, bird watching, and about 5 miles or more of hiking if you do all of the loops. If you plan on hiking bring your water and sunscreen and be very mindful of the rotten wood on the decks and bridges!!! Definitely worth seeing!!

My dog loves running around there. It didnt get 5 stars because it was partially flooded. I know they cant help the rain and whatnot but its not perfect. Good enough though.

Ive lead stargazing nights at Paul D. Rushing Park for seven years. The cricket fields parking lot was a good setup for us. The skies have been good for viewing, despite being short drive from Katy. However, with the recent and rapid development of neighborhoods and accompanying businesses, the light pollution has deteriorated the skies at this site. Ill be moving on to someplace farther away. cCc

This parks is the best. I can come here and read let my dogs go nuts. Its usually just us or maybe one or two cars here. Just how we like it.

Went there for a Softball Tournament and cant think of anything bad to say about the experience. Plenty of parking, clean facilities, pleasant people working the concession area, all good.

We play cricket here. This place has three cricketing fields and a dog park. This is by far the best cricketing ground in greater Houston area.

Overall, a good park. Lots of people letting their dogs walk off leash around the lake despite signs that say they must be leashed. Maintenance inside the dog park is hit or miss. Trash isn’t emptied in the dog park frequently, and it often smells as a result. Poop bags are usually allowed to run out before anybody refills them. There also appear to be more owners who aren’t picking up after their dogs. We have had issues with non-dog owners coming into the dog park and attacking dogs. Had to call police a few times.

I take my grandkids there to play in the playground and to play ball with their team. I recommend it because is big and it have many ball fields.

Cool place to let your dogs run around. They have both a big dog park and a small dog park here.There are also a couple of playgrounds for the kids, some covered areas for gatherings and picnics, baseball or softball fields, and winding paved trails for walking or biking.The paved bike paths snake around ponds and over bridges and its all quite calm.

This place is huge. Mainly for sports with cricket and baseball fields, had two large dog parks for bug and small dogs, playground for kids and a massively long trail for waking or riding a bike. Its just massive.

This is a huge park/sports complex with multiple baseball fields of various sizes anywhere from tiny tots to adult. There are restrooms, a snack bar and picnic tables. There are several cricket pitches as well and two playgrounds, one for wee ones and one for 6 and up. BTW, each ball field has bleachers with sun roofs. The entire park is well maintained.

Great space for a walk. 2 dog parks very little tree shade but they have canopies. Doggy showers are great in the heat. Girls softball fields and the cricket courts are usually quite busy. Small kids playground has good strength climbing for active tots.

Water was super murky for fishing, if youre going for a picnic its not a bad place.

There is a big loop asphalt trail with wood bridges, piers, and observation decks. A couple of tips to use the trail:1. Do not park on the west-most lot as it has no access to the trail.2. There is no shade whatsoever, so be prepared to brave the sun & wind.

Wow! This park is huge. I went to the dog park and my dog really enjoyed it. He ran too much and was having fun.There wasn’t anyone at the park. I went Friday so, I guess people only go on weekends. I really don’t know. However, I recommend this park if you want to walk, have fun with your kids, or exercise with your dog.

This is an awesome place to bring your kiddos. They have two areas where kids can play. They have a middle area that is good for BBQ or if it starts raining. They have a path for walking or running. They have baseball fields. They have public restrooms. They also have a huge parking lot. This is a really relaxing place over all. Its also a good place to take your dog for a walk. Its very clean too. Very well maintained. Five stars for sure.

One star for beauty, it is a gorgeous park! A friend just told me a lady and her dog were attacked by a group of 5 strays. I have heard several people complain about crime there so be careful.

Nice place to see some water fowl. Also saw a small alligator. Good to be outside in nature. Understand that it is a field with few trees. Nice observation point looking over the pond.

This a very large county park several miles out into the country. Unless you go when there are softball games or cricket matches going on it will usually be deserted. The main attraction for me is the two nice fenced in dog parks and the huge open fields all around. The dog parks have plenty of water fountains and there are even several freestanding dog showers for the hot days. One minor drawback to this dog park is that not many people come out to it so your dog will usually find itself by itself if it was looking for another to play with. Also there are no large trees. There are several nice covered bench areas similar to the other county dog parks. You can also walk around the lakes and check out the water birds. This park is very well taken care of. The grass is always well mowed and the facilities are great. No crowds, lots of open land to play in and big skies. You can almost see the buildings at Memorial City from there on a clear day.

Great place it has a playground. Do not enter the park before 7AM and after 10pm or you can get a $300 ticket. Do not leave valuables in your car at this park, unless you want them to disappear.

Feel like I found a hidden gem. So relaxing and big. our family went for the first time (after wife stumbled upon it) and we just enjoyed it.

That is a good place for a bus to stop to pick up our kids Im not happy that we have to go further down to pick up our kids from the bus dropping her kids picking their kids up its kind of dangerous sports at I thought were supposed to be picking up our kids at that Park. On our paper it said the part address but the bus doesnt stop there we have to go further down to drop our kids and pick up our kids from the bus were so I thought we were supposed to go to the park. Concern is too dangerous to be dropping her kids off at a narrow road.

Nice park. Clean facilities. Lots of parking and open space. Fenced dog parks and sports fields. Nature park with marshes and ponds. Playground. Something for everyone.

Went there for a cricket game, decent ground to play. Need to look after the nets, lots weed next to the pitch.

Nice little park for walking or nature watching. Signs say watch for gators but havent seen one yet. Not big, but rarely busy. Big girls softball park and cricket field. Good place to teach your kids to fish but I wouldnt eat anything out of there. Ok for what it is. I did notice a lot of redneck activity there. Lots of trash thrown in the water and empty beer bottles everywhere. Not a lot of respect for the park or nature, sad.
