Walk in to this museum and look back on History.. Lots of neat stuff. Staff friendly and can tour you around.

Situated right next to the park, the heritage society, museum and park make for a really great must-visit block of town. A blast back in time with historic homes, post office, gazebo, and more. Ground is very well kept.

Heritage Park is a small park known for its restored historic buildings, beautiful landscaping, the Tradition Bank bandstand pavilion and brick paved patio.You have to book tours to view inside the homes to see what life was like for Katy residents in the early 1900s. On the first weekend of every month the Katy Heritage Park is open for free public tours. (Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1 pm, and first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 PM.)Few parking spots available.

Nice little photo spot

Its an old and quiet American town. Not much to look at but some local historic homes, post office etc. Its a relaxing stop to stretch and taking a break during a long drive. The ground is well kept. Theres not much traffic so you can feel safe to let the kids out and run around a bit before getting back on the road.

Just walking around this area is a dream. The perfect place to go with family and pets. Is to look at the past at Old Katy and everything looks like in a fairytale. Also perfect for Pokemon Go players as there are many pike stops around and lots of pokemon to catch and gyms to conquer.

Great upkeep and history

Ordered the Historic Katy book from their website 3 weeks before Christmas 2017. When I ordered they charged my account immediately but did not ship the book. Nearly a month later I still have no received the book and they refuse to return emails. I have called repeatedly and no one ever answers. Their voicemail indicates not to leave a message because they will not return calls. Their voice message indicates the best way to contact them it to email, but after two weeks and several emails I have not gotten any return email. I am forced to dispute the charges.

Neat and clean, but didnt really learn much. Beautiful upkeep of the location.

Very nice place to bring kids. Lots of history, also has a park and play set for little ones.

Not a great place for kids. They cant really do anything or touch anything. Man at the front was rude. Im kind of sad that my taxes pay for this
