Kids elbow got stuck between the top floor and the guard around the round ladder. That opening needs to be closed to keep kids safe. My child was there alone so we were able to climb up and retrieve him. But I can easily imagine some kiddo breaking his arm if he/she were to get stuck there when the playground is crowded and there are several kids pushing from the bottom.

Nice Park. We sat picnicking and saw 3 guys catch 4 catfish in about an hour. 3-4 lb catfish. Putting green is in great shape. Playground was a blast for our son. This is definitely a 5

Fun and spacious trail along the pretty pond! If you want to have a relaxing time fishing, or playing mini golf or just want to go for a stroll this tree covered park is the place to go!!!

The park is amazing in the middle of a quaint city. Walking paths, large pond with lots of ducks and fishing, kids love to fish. Clean bathrooms, put put golf, a dog park next door, covered picnic facility, who could ask for more. The new play ground set is amazing. Shh, dont tell everyone, this place is a prize.

Great playground and park. One of the best my daughter has ever played on. And we have lived all over the US. Also has tennis courts, basketball courts and baseball fields close by. It’s a great community location .

I would give at least four or -maybe even- five stars if they had more parking spots. We went there on a Sunday for the first time and there was not any single spot to park. But based on what I saw from my car, it looks like a nice place.

Mini golf area looks great now! Theyve done a great job cleaning it up.

Had a great visit with a friendly environment. First time coming, but was happy to see how clean and respectful everyone was. A nice trail to run/walk, plenty of seating areas, lots of trash cans on every turn, and a diverse people there which is great! Will definitely visit again soon so I can get some excerise and enjoy the beautiful lake around at the center of the park.

I love this park. There’s so much to do and the play area for kids looks very fun. I loved seeing all the little animals. Although when I went it was full of vultures. I had never seen vultures at a park. But I didn’t mind at all. The squirrels and ducks will go up to you and ask for food. There’s a lot of space and I am yet to try their put put and pool.

Huge family park with a few extras. Here you can walk gravel trails, sit on a pier, fish (catch n release), and go putt putt. Also offers additional kids parks, 2 of them. You can also find a dog park just beside Mary Jo park. Nice park all year around usually plenty of people, unfortunately limited parking.

As a dad, this was one of the best parks in greater Houston. The putting greens and putt putt course won me over!

This is a horrible place please stay away!!! Bought our new home because of this park. Now too many people with their snot-nosed kids are coming across the county to enjoy in MY park. ...and darn it, stop your broods from chasing those poor ducks into my fishing lines.So please stay away!

One of the best parks arounds. It has a nice fishing pond, large walking trails and a playground for the kids. It gets busy on the weekends though.

Love going here to feed the ducks and to have fun. Please be mindful of the animals. If you want to feed the ducks don’t give them chips/bread since it will kill them because it blows their stomachs and gets them sick. Rather feed them peas or corn they can be the ones from cans that cost 38 cents and 44 cents in Walmart if that’s within your budget just remember to rinse them before you give it to them.

This is awesome place. The staff is wonderful. They have remodeled the children park. They keep the park well maintenance. LOVE THE FITNESS CENTER.

Awesome place to bring the kids! Great playscape. Putt putt golf (bring your own balls and putter). Great greenspace and even has fishing and disc golf!There are clean public restrooms at this park.

I use this park for disc golf so can only speak to that part. Parking lot is a good size main parking lot is on the far side of hole 1 on discgolf so a bit of a walk before starting and after finishing the course. There are a lot of very curious squirrels in the park that come right up to you and are pretty persistent in wanting food from you (never fed them).the disc golf course is short with only 6 holes but it is a great course if you are just starting out or if you want to take your children to teach them. Long enough to scratch the itch but easy and short enough to maintain kids attention mostly. My friends and i meet here and they leave the kids at playground on the days they dont want to play with us and it lets us have a short day out of the house.

Great place to relax, watch the ducks around the pond, take the kids to play, walk- run- bike ... there is so much more you can do either by yourself or with the family!

Great place to go birding!! A few different types of species: geese, ducks, cormorants, ibis, and vultures are some I saw.

Love what they have done with this park. Great for kids of al ages.

Went fishing here and caught a nice size keeper catfish and a couple small other fish, which was great for a beginner and his son. One negative is that its a bit crowded and parking was an issue. Another issue is that the crowd seemed to have little sense of personal space, i.e., during this period of covid, people had no problem smoking and talking and walking right by you.

Those there both staff and visitors are good people, and the Constable is always nearby. It is well maintained and beautiful to walk, toss frisbee or ball, fish, or just a place to let the kids play.

My sons loved it just need a place to swim its too hot to fish but if we could have a fountain or splashhs pad my kids would be not so hot .

Theyve revamped everything! The playgrounds are all replaced! And honestly, theyre a lot better. I mean, nostalgia aside, this is pretty cool. And everything else in the park is still the same.

Big park. So much to do. It has bathrooms which is always a plus at a park. There is fishing and ducks. They also have a great playground. There is stuff for bigger kids and toddlers.

Beautiful park, gorgeous and huge fishing lake. So many people come here to do fishing. Huge playground for kids. Nice covered bbq areas for families, birthday parties, picnics, etc. Parking is s little hassle because it gets full so quickly that you would have to park a little further then walk to the park. Bathrooms are mostly clean, no soap in the bathrooms so make sure to bring your own and sanitizer. There are lots of vultures on the side of the lake. I didnt see them harm anyone, they are just their sitting. This is definitely a family friendly kids park and the whole family can enjoy. I would highly recommend it.

Its a really nice park me and my friends go their and fed some ducks and people were fishing there and some people would run around and there are some playgrounds, so seriously this is the best place for you and your family to go to

The park is very well shaded, and has great spots to go fishing at. The play ground was recently redone, there is a mini golf course there as well. The trails are good for biking and walking.

Beautiful and theyve redone the out putt-putt course and playgrounds. Great wildlife! Indoor swimming.

Mary Jo Peckham is such a fun park. Brand new playground, fishing, free crazy golf, a pretty walk around the lake and plenty of spots for picnics. If youre a Harris county resident then you get to use the gym and pool for free too. We love this place. A real community park.

This park is awesome! Big, has a huge pond with ducks, nice trails and mounds for mountain biking. And lots of trees, so plenty of shade.

This place is beautiful! The ducks and the lake and the walking path are all surprisingly natureque for some place that is not put away from residential areas.

Very nice and clean park. They just recently updated the kids playground. WiFi is available for the public. You can jog around the park with your dogs. A mini golf course is also available for free. You can borrow golf clubs and balls from the facility at the entrance for free. In front of that is a koi pond for your viewing pleasure. There are two nicely covered seating areas as well. There is a large covered seating area with lots of tables and benches. A working water faucet and BBQ grill are provided. There is a nicer more secluded wooden covered seating area right before the koi pond. Restrooms are available. You can fish there for fun as well, as they restock the water with fish. Ducks and squirrels aplenty for the animal lovers.

Beautiful little lake and park with lots of room to enjoy with your family and friends without having to worry about the next family being to close for you to have a good time..lots of ducks for the children to feed ..and lots of buzzards that are cool to see

This park is really nice. It’s also frequently patrolled by Katy police. Nice neighborhood and very high quality play equipment and area. Nice covered basketball area and concrete track. Restrooms are neat and well kept. Also down on the other side. They have a large pond and offer fishing and family friendly area with bbq and benches.

Great park for everyone, all ages can have fun. Some peaceful fishing close to home.

The playground went through an amazing renovation. The kids had so much fun with the new installation. One of the best parks in the Katy area to drain all that energy and get them to bed early.

Clean park with nice trail (1/2 mile?). Theres a lake thats regularly stocked with fish, but youll need a fishing license. Nice playground, indoor heated pool and a miniature golf course currently being renovated within park.

Great playground for a variety of ages and abilities. Musical instruments, swings, slides, challenging climbing walls and ropes. My 4 year old had tons of fun.

My family spend most of the time at Mary Jo Park. There is new beautiful playground for kids and my kids love it. I like playing golf there and spend time with my kiddos.

I love the new renovation to the playground making it significantly more challenging and fun for the kids. Also love they kept the exercise equipments because my kids love playing on those lol. They also kept the mini golf. It can get pretty crowded and parking can be hard to find but loads of room to run around and enjoy for the family.

I frequent this park because its a perfect place to bring your family, kids or even a date. Its very clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and always pleasant.

For a park its a nice park. Not mindblowing so no 5 stars but lots of animals and a nice 15 minute stroll
