Only one washroom, at the start of the path. A few bikes and skateboarders are riding much to fast. Other than that, pretty much you same ol, run of the mill, walking path. Parking lot fills up fast.

The trails are easy to run or bike on and the people using them are friendly. Sometimes you can see deer and other wildlife. If you need a quick break, you can stop by the pond

Three loops of trails. I had a kiddo with me so we stuck to the short trail. It went around a little lake area. There was a nice sitting bench and sometime was fishing there, very cute area. Pretty flat land so easy walking with pretty nature views. Cant even hear traffic noise. There is a pretty decent outhouse style toilet, but no running water anywhere. It would be nice to be able to at least rinse my hands, especially if I had been fishing.

Fantastic place to take a leisurely walk and might see different species of wildlife.

Plenty of parking, the path is always well maintained and garbage free. Everyone who comes here is respectful of others on the path. You can see deer here during the day. Sun rise to sunset is the hours

This place used to be great to come fishing with my daughter but today we went and the pond is so overgrown with weeds all we were catching was weeds!! Obviously they only care about the trails for walking and biking and not so much for the pond anymore. Very disappointing morning with my daughter.

My favorite place to kayak

I go bike riding here. It has a nice bike trail and a pond for fishing. Very peaceful.

A pleasant walk through nature. A lone deer was munching on some grass less than six feet from the path.

Need to add a few benches back on the east side by the lake and prairie.

Forgot about my phone for awhile so I enjoyed the beauty instead of capturing it all. This place offers so much serenity. I saw families skipping rocks. A man was meditating to the beautiful sounds of crickets & bullfrogs that inhabited a water laden area of trees. I saw multiple trees that had fallen, but decided to keep growing anyway. I watched the stream bubble around th rocks as I over looked from the bridge. & stared up at the spring barren trees and listened to birds chirp their sigh of relief. All on the shortest path, Im excited to come back and envelope myself in even more beauty.

A little littered and i had to clean up, but overall good path. Been going here with my family for years now and the fall is the greatest time to come!

Great walking and biking paths! Several benches along the trail for resting or watching nature. I enjoy walking my dogs here. Doggy cleanup bags available on site!

Great place for a walk lot run.

Places like this is the reason you choose to live in the suburbs. Clean, beautiful, and well maintained. Not to mention the pleasure in seeing all the animals that call this place home.

Its a beautiful place to go fishing. Theres roads in this forest so you know your way back and a round parking lot. You can go biking on the roads too. I suggest you bring bug spray because theres a lot of flying needles. A.K.A mosquitos. And if you bring a dog, please, PLEASE pick up their poop. Nobody wants to walk around and smell that or even get it under their shoe/bike tire. That stinks. Quite literally.

Rock Run Preserve brings Nature right into the middle of Joliet. Its both a lovely place to walk your dog or to take a bike ride.

I take my daughter and wife there alot, the perimeter trails are cool to walk, bike, or run around, its like 5 miles all the way around so bring your own water, and enjoy

Love this portion of the path! Couple of different options of ways you can take depending on the length you want to go. Its a little crowded and busy for bikes, but lovely for a walk. Busy enough that you feel safe walking around in your own.

Its a very nice preserve with a walking path around the water, it has bags for dog walkers as well as a pavilion and bathroom, the people are friendly and helpful, a quiet place to read a book with lovely surroundings.

Great place to go for a stroll. Most of paths are asphalt but does have a few spots that u can take that are gravel. Take my dogs for walks there all the time. It connects to to other trails so can go for quite awhile.

Mainly paved trails with a couple of gravel extensions. Great place for running walking, roller blading, dog walking. Flat. Loop around lake is about 0.75 miles. Extensions to othe trails. Not usually crowded.

Nice local nature preserve pretty much sums it up. Good for biking and walking. It is part of a 16? mile bike loop around Joliet.

Lovely paths, and the picnic area was clean and had a nice little washroom as well
