We love going down to central park during the holiday season. The tree lights are set to blink to the music and there are all these cute little houses decorated up. The kids love to run around and look at them. We got hot chocolate and stopped at the gift shop and got a few things.

This place is so beautiful in the fall when they are setting up for Christmas!

Well maintained! I was there for the farmers market and it was so nicely appointed. The stalls were spaced well enough apart and the offerings were fantastic!!

Beautiful for taking pictures near the fountain and throughout centralpark. Its especially nice to walk your dog through if your out for a walk or just passing through. Really nice place to stretch your legs if your an out of towner.

Great little park. Very clean with several interesting shops and restaurants around. Lots of Pokemon too.

Its so funny to see so small park which is called Central Park, especially if you are compared to Central Park in NYC. ;)))

A lot cleaner and nicer than it was about 6 or 7 (?) years ago. Kids loved the fountain. Johnstown Reed Band was playing and it just felt like a great, simple way to spend an evening that you dont get a lot of these days.

The Christmas houses were in better shape, they were very nice! And the Christmas tree and music were beautiful.

Its a beautiful little park in downtown Johnstown. My kids love it. They have a fountain and my 2 boys love throwing change into it.

Very Dirty Place!

Its great unless its the end of the year. The holiday display blasts music all night and has very bright lights. Makes it hard for the families in the area who are trying to sleep. Also, distracting if you have to one of the local businesses and cant hold a conversation. Otherwise, great for rallies and so forth.

The fountain in the middle, splashing my hand in the water to cool myself. There are bands that play at the bandstand, and all the resting benches around to relax on.

People were friendly even if they were a bit odd. The park has some litter but is otherwise well maintained. I will definitely visit there with my dog in the future.

Johnstowns Central Park was set aside by the founder, Joseph Johns, when he purchased the land grant. He is the one who laid out lots and set aside areas for recreation in perpetuity. Central Park is one of those areas. Its a small park, but has a very pleasant fountain in the center, a gazebo where you might find local musicians playing, or a public gathering occurring. Surrounding the park, are numerous historic buildings, dating back to the famous 1889 Flood, the Civil War, and early commercial development in the area. Youll also find a number of great eateries within very easy access. A great place to relax and let the kids play.

Christmas tree is super cute. Lights set to music. All decked out for the holidays. Other than Christmas time, I cant say too much. Just a square chunk of lot with a gazebo in the center, set in the middle of town??!!??

My Daughter loves loves loves it when we take her down there! I cant get enough of watching how happy and amazed she gets. She loves when she sees the lights on the tree that sync up with the Christmas music...its great and i get a kick out of watching her run around dancing, singing, smiling and laughing. The only bad part is how upset she gets when its time to leave

Went down to look at the animated Christmas tree and houses. Very enjoyable.

Thunder in the valley motorcycle rally...let me tell you. This year was not what I would of expected it to be. I really wanted a chance to go down and spend more time down there. I wasnt able to because of the weather for one. I went down the first night and was there with my wife and kids for maybe 2 hours it was just a mess. I spent money on expensive priced stuff but cheaply made products. Next years Thunder in the valley 2019 I hope will be so much better.
