Great city park with plenty of soccer fields and a long, mostly-flat walking path. Has public restrooms and lots of parking. The playground is small and needs some updating, but it has plenty of benches around it and is central to the soccer fields, so its convenient for during games. It is right across the street from Rotary Park, so its great for taking a walk then going to the big, newer playground over there.

Love to take my fur baby and play at this park.

Nice wide open grassy area in the middle of the city. We were grateful to have the green space to hang out in for dinner. It was quiet and enjoyable. I recommend stopping there for a break.

Used to go here when I was a kid. The park service has done a good job keeping it sort of looking the same without it looking run down. I hope it stays a park for many many years

Big Park 3 Soccer Fields 1 basketball court and a volleyball court also playground for the kids I really like this place is big and it doesnt gets crowded that much because its big.

Great soccer fields but parking is a bit tight! If you are one of the middle games of the day, make sure you arrive with plenty of time! Also love the pavilions and the playground to keep other kiddos occupied during the games.

Great place for soccer although the balls kicked out of bounds go into the long dry grasses into the next door church parking lot is a must to put up maybe fencing? but still great!

Great for birthday parties and for the kids to play. It has a field and a trail to walk. I enjoyed the times I spend there.

Beautiful park

Great park, only issue is the smoking and the dogs. Neither should be allowed. There is dog poop everywhere including the dirt in the volleyball court. Nothing like trying to get fit and having to walk through a wall of smoke...ugh

A beautiful soccer park. A fantastic paved path to jog/walk. Basketball goals, volleyball, and a couple kid playgrounds. Definitely a great opportunity for the public to enjoy their day with happiness.

My grandchildren play soccer here and the fields are in very good shape. I wish places like this would have benches for the players and at least some seating for other people.

As with all Johnson City parks, Civitan is beautiful and well maintained. Walking trails, soccer fields, and volleyball courts are nice and the park is fenced so kids dont run off into neighboring streets when they should be practicing.

I love that this park is entirely fenced in. Its new, and its handicapped friendly. The kids also love the water from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

What a hidden gem !!! A great place to walk. There is a mile long trail around at least 5 soccer fields. There are restrooms, covered picnic areas, and a small playground. Very well maintained and clean.

Right next to the park is rotary park. Civitan is mainly soccer fields and a place to run at and does have 1 playground. Rotary park is mainly for parties and children to play at. If youre looking to get better at football, soccer or a place to run tbis is the place. I dont think its 1 mile all around I think it .9 so its pretty close to being it.

Great soccer fields. I am disappointed on how the Parks and Recreation soccer works. The kids do not get enough practices and the practices are all before the first game. There is however a nice playground and plenty of room for kids to run. The fields are nice and open. All 5 fields are perfectly level. I rate it 4 star because it is great, but has room for improvement. There is also a really nice playground with a splash pad right across the street.

Nice walking track, dog friendly(!!!), and nice views. I enjoy walking here and its pretty remote which is nice because you dont have to worry about your dogs or kids walking near heavy traffic or anything. Its great.
