Beautiful. Quiet. Clean. Under used by Jacksonville! Tons of benches, tables and covered spaces. Well maintained.

I love the view of the river & walking through the park. The fresh air is amazing and watching the boaters is very relaxing. Fishing there is great and there are grills & public restrooms. Its a beautiful area (when the fishers put their trash in the receptacles) and I love going there to fish and relax.

I went to Rockville 2019 at Metro Park and it was absolutely epic. It was a pretty big space so plenty of room to walk. I didnt like that the main stage was on concrete though (in the actual stadium parking lot) as opposed to the other two stages which were on grass and more comfortable.

Here for the Welcome To Rockville Festival. This park is very nice, situated right along the St. John’s River. There is a giant statue of an alligator here and the park looks like it is well maintained. If I can come back next year. I definitely will. Parking at the Jaguar stadium and over off Georgia and Adams st.

Its an all right place if you have a family one have a cookout but theres no place to fish or shrimp out there was the only thing that I did not like about it

Go for Rockville every year and every year they make the festival even better. Weve been to plenty of festivals and this is by far our favorite. It is well organized, always have great talent, handle Florida weather smoothly and the headliners actually headline, they dont overlap the top artists so you can actually see them all

Great experience at welcome to Rockville. They had more than enough vendors and bathrooms for the 10000 people who showed up. The stages were well place and the timing of the bands were very well organized and planned out.

We come here for.Welcome to Rockville every year and absolutely love it. They have an amazing setup and always a stellar line up. The traffic patterns are pretty simple to maneuver. Beautiful.venue that offers a nice breeze off the river.

World of Nations festival was amazing. Next year I would suggest more tables for people to sit and eat at and more various performances throughout the day. We had a blast today!

Welcome to Rockville is back for 2019! 3 days of rock and roll. Headliners include Kron, Rob Zombie, Tool, Papa Roach and more! Parking is $20 and water is $4. Had a great time as usual little delayed due to weather but it was fantastic. Be sure to check out the concert every year around the end of April /beginning of May. They post event days in December. Dont miss out tickets are reasonable price if you get them early

Beautiful location for a charity walk, event, or general exercise. We participated in a 5K walk for Heart Health awareness. This is a massive park of land at the end of downtown, right next to the stadium. It was nice and felt mostly safe. Bonus points for the smell of fresh coffee wafting through the air thanks to the Maxwell House factory. It smells amazing even for this non-coffee drinker.

Great place for a big concert series like Rockville. Opportunities for shade other than the over pass would be nice. Parking for Rockville is super easy a d convenient.

Beautiful scenery of downtown Jax, the city use to have allot of events here. Sad that they took it away...

I love this park. Its not a playground park. Its more of a nature park. There is a large grassy area to picnic in or let children run in. There are several restrooms around the area. It is located right across from the Everbank Field football stadium and the Jumbo Shrimp baseball stadium and runs along the St. Johns River. You can fish and walk along the bank. There are also places to dock a boat. Inside the park are gazebos, picnic tables, and benches. It is not usually crowded unless there is a football or baseball game or some other function is going on. They hold the World of Nations celebration there also. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place to relax with family.

Went to Welcome to Rockville Music Festival there. It was as expected for a Music Festival. Hot, humid rainy day. Hid under the overpass for some of the rain. Restrooms were disgusting as people cant seem to help but to urinate all over the seats. Thank god for the medic tent with hand sanitizer. Other than those couple things, music was great. Besides the tall people that would wedge themselves making a wall right ifo myself and 5 tall daughter so we couldnt see... But music and hyped crowd was all good. Good times.

Great for fundraising events. City of Jax staff very helpful.

The Metropolitan Park borders the once Hart Bridge Overpass ( now gone ). The other side is the St. Johns River. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place. The bathroom is close by as well as a Jacksonville Fire And Rescue satellite station.

The heart was was my 1st time going and I was a coach, never knew that I would have this much fun again. Met a lot of people who were so loving and kind. Will be doing this again next year and will start early to raise a 1,000.00 dollar donations

Met Park goes back a long way with me as it probably does with many thousands of others in the Jacksonville area (and even internationally when they have big festivals!) and each time Ive come to the park for an event, its always a spectacular time.I hope to keep coming back and enjoying time with my friends as we celebrate the gift of music.

World of Nations annual event... Over 100 countries to visit to enjoy food, music and culture items. Parking with complimentary rides to and from parking lot. At the front gate, you can receive a book of each participating country and as you travel the park, receive a stamp (like a passport) to show you visited! We go every year

Ive been coming here since 2011 for the event Welcome to Rockville. You can get here via the water taxi or boat here just in general as its located right on the water. This is a great concert venue, and then a solid place to just walk when in downtown or with your pets. However the 5 star review is strictly out of respect for Rockville more so than the park atmosphere as there are plenty of parks in Jax.

Attended Rockville 3-day festival, just outside the stadium. The overpass provides nice shade and protection from the elements.

2019 World of Nations was Great!

Maybe it was the Welcome to Rockville layout but it seemed absolutely destroyed. A lot is concrete rather than Park--perhaps its tailgating for games? The over pass was nice to hide under during the storm--just next time I wish the city had better communication of shut down due to weather or not.

Awesome venue! Great place to see a sure. And loved the ferris wheel!

Clean, lots of space, needs a bit more shade, but over all good experience. I love when world of nations come to this area, the area is packed, but it suits it and never have any issues.

Went to World of Nations here recently and it was nice. Been to events here in the past and have never had any complaints.

This will always be what I think of when I think of concerts in Jacksonville.. so many good fests come here and they are fantastically priced if you buy early enough. Standing bathrooms, a park, Riverfront walk that helps you cool off.. I just love this venue

It is a 18.25 acre waterfront park. They have grills, bike racks, picnic areas, restrooms, a playground, boat dock and tables. A great place to visit with family. A great place to host events. Events in Metropolitan Park involve World of Nations, Natural Life Music Festivals, and even Welcome to Rockefeller Events.

I love Metro Park! Many venues that are there yearly! Even when there are none going on, it is still a nice place to go take a walk at & enjoy the Great St. Johns River! It is right across from the Great TIAA Bank Field, Home of the Jacksonville Jaguars!!! I love taking the family to Metro Park, & You will to if You go! Go check it out!!!

I come here every year for Rockville. Each time, it has been a great experience. Parking is decently priced for the event. The lineups are pretty good.

Great show at a great location! Enjoyed having shaded areas for a festival. Vendors were ok, bands were phenomenal. Would return for future events.

Great place for a daily stroll or to attend a music festival. Unfortunately it wont be here much longer on account of city development plans a lot of memories have been made here for a lot of people

We went to see the Welcome to Rockville concert. It was a Friday through Sunday event. There was plenty of food and drink everywhere. They had a highway overpass going over the park so they was continuous shade. They had picnic table set up in the shade. There were plenty of Porta-Johns and they were pretty well maintained. Overall I had a really good experience

World of Nations festival is amazing. Metro park is so pretty, right on the water with great facilities. I have had great times there and still making memories at that great park.

Came here when they had the Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville Florida. Loved it but I do have one con they should have allowed more time in between artist so that fans could see who they want without having to rush

I believe I took my kiddos to the world of nations celebration! They loved the different cultures, the different booths. They of course didnt want to try any food that was chicken tender looking or hamburger like haha! Not me, I was sampling here, buying food from there, dancing to the different music! We had a blast! Also it cost me about $85 cuz well my kids have eyes and are spoiled and whiny lol AND I live to please them

We were there for Rockville, absolutely amazing. 3 stages with plenty of room between each of them to avoid the crowd back up. Sick event.

Great park to visit in Jacksonville. I walk my dog here in the afternoons.

It is an underitilized park. It has space to play Frisbee or toss a football.Love this place. Had a great time there.will be going back.

Easy parking. Great bands. The rain delayed everything, but the mayor let us rock later, and lifted the curfew and noise ordinance for the night.

Went to the park for Welcome to Rockville. It is a great venue for a music festival. Too bad this was probably the last year for the festival in Jacksonville since developers are likely going to turn that section of the river into something unsuitable for this type of event.

A decent place to see a outdoor concert. A little on the small size could use a better location gets crowed but lots of good parking!
