The place for fishing is excellent. You get to sit down and relax while waiting for the fish to bite. Aside from it, you can also be there for taking photos after an special event. It provide free and alot of parking.

Stockton park has always been one of my favorite places to go. However here lately it seems like someone is not cleaning up the debris and trash in the area theres dead fish laying here theres shrimp pieces laying here theres this cords and electrical pieces of parts laying around seems like the the people that are maintaining it is not doing their job.

Great place to fish and super chill. Its not the perfect place to see the skyline of the jacksonville but it was really well built with the slope of the park facing the water and a nice sunset.

My kids love running around here. And I like to watch people fishing.

It was a bit crowded when we went, a few families and people taking pictures. It was very nice and breezy by the water and quite a few friendly dogs. Over all nice place but we moved on to a quieter place to relax. Still beautiful riverfront.

We saw people fishing and it’s just peaceful. Love this place will be visiting soon.

Beautiful park on the river. We had my sons wedding and everyone was very cooperative. Beautiful night and the breeze from the river was so refreshing.

Beautiful park on the water with a great selection of park benches and shade trees to sit under.The only bad thing about the park are the patrons that decide to leave trash all over instead of using the provided waste bins.

This park is somewhat small, but beautiful. It faces the St. JOHNS RIVER and has beautiful palm trees spreaded about the park. Its also neseled amongst a beautiful backdrop of established homes that further makes the experience worthwhile and enjoyable. Dont miss the opportunity of the quiet and peaceful surroundings this park has to offer.

Decent space, love that they have the hoses to wash your hands while fising. No bathrooms though which can be rough with kids.

I grew up down the street from this beautiful park. Its a very busy park on the weekends. I have seen weddings, birthday parties, and just get togethers.People fish and just look at the beautiful skyline of downtown Jacksonville.

I had my great nieces and great nephews....very expansive shaded area...quiet...beautiful visuals and a swing set for the children.

Needed a quiet place to sit and meditate. It was perfect. At night there are several people enjoying the pair to fish and shrimp. It was nice to see th harmony of everyone doing something they enjoy. Its a phenomenal view and background for pictures...a wedding..birthday..engagement...whatever youd like.

I visited Stockton Park in Jacksonville Florida during the summer.. This wonderful place of Oceans Views, and Sail boats was a breath of fresh air.. They have fishing, for anyone who loves to fish. A Picnic area for families, and friends to share their fishing experience with. The ocean is surrounded by wonderful architecture to see all across the island and city of Jacksonville. And for those quite afternoons, with the smell of its ocean perfume. There picnic tables, and seat benches for two to take in all the scenery of the pack. Stockton Park has parking up close of the park. And it is always wheelchair accessiable . They have ramps for anyone whose disabled.. So the next time you are visiting, or just driving by in Jacksonville Florida. And you want to take in nature? Stockton Park is the place . So nice and peaceful Park

My favorite park to attend in Jacksonville, by far. The scenery can’t be beat, it’s right on the water with a great view of downtown. No restrooms though- so you may want to go before arriving.

This is a beautiful park. We enjoyed ourselves. The park was clean. There were port o lets available. The gazebo is a beautiful spot for a wedding. I enjoyed fishing and talking with the people at the park.

Of course I love this park... Its half a block from my home with some of the largest vistas of the states widest river... Great place to catch a sunrise, but beware... A lot of shady people frequent the area, with no shortage of shady transactions (especially in the summer months)... Despite being perhaps the most beautiful park in Jacksonville, the clientele serve to blemish its reputation as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. Always a good idea to carry when going during the dark hours... (need more police patrolling)

Its a nice lil park, great for small get togethers, kids, and family cookouts, alot of ppl go fishing here. Although I wouldnt recomend eating the fish out of the St. Johns river. Awesome view of st John river...

Beautiful park right on the river. To go fishing either by yourself or with the family. Nice walk trail for the dogs. Do you have a water fountain for the dogs. They have a swing set and a lot of grass for the children. There is also a covered gazebo for a wedding if thats something you want to do Ive seen a few weddings performed out there right on the river very beautiful scenery. Or any other event that you would like to do thats right on the river not a very large space but there is a seating out there also.

Stockton Park was well maintenance and relaxing were you able to have a seat an enjoy fishing

A simple partly shaded grassy hill slopes down to the riverwalk. A few picnic tables sprinkled throughout, a water fountain, a lonely set of 4 swings, a concrete gazebo stopping just shy of small amphitheater status round out the amenities. A nice place for a picnic or fishing.

Great view, not much for trails or walking but you can sit on one of the many benches and watch people fish or watch the slow waves roll in. Safe, great for kids

I absolutely love this park...great for fishing, dog walking and alot of photographers come here to do personal pictures. Its a beautiful park. The only problem I have with this park is they dont cut the grass as often as they should....other than that...its a beautiful peaceful park.
