The movie theater is wonderful I love it I’ve been there couple times they’re cleaning is phenomenal and the staff are goodThere’s one staff member in particular who I really don’t care for I don’t wanna mention his name but it starts with an M and ends with the H he’s really disrespectful was really mean and very cruel and it kind of hurt my feelings because the way he spoke to me and how disrespectful he wasBut I don’t have any complaints about the other stuff and movie theater at all
The place is a very nice, clean atmosphere to walk into
Went this past Saturday and saw Midway...what a great movie. The theater is well run with plenty of movies to choose from (about 15+). The snack bar is a little small but if you plan ahead the wait is not an issue. Seating is comfortable with plenty of rest rooms. Plenty of parking is a good thing as are restaurants in the area. We enjoyed and will return.
The attendants did a good job. Since you get the tickets at concession stand now, it takes longer to get popcorn and other goodies for the movie. Because today was a holiday, there were more people than usual. They did their best but it could have been better if they just handled concession
Have been to this theater many times over the years and its very clean, seats and floors. Did not use the bathroom so dont know about that this visit. Friendly staff, great experience!
I mostly like the location of the theater. It will never be too crowded and plenty of parking. There are a few things I didn’t like. You have to wait in line for a long time to buy your tickets and food. It’s all done together instead of separately like most theaters. If you don’t want anything from the concessions you still have to wait there anyway.
The matinee price was almost $9 which is a little high. I was expecting better seating like the theater at Regency mall. The speaker in theater has a constant hum. Both theatres 9 &10 have stiff seats that put my butt and back to sleep.
Nice experience. They offer military discount on movie tickets. A medium drink is equivalent to a large at other theaters. Theater and restroom were clean. They also serve beer and wine. I wish they had the reclining seats though.
Sad. Fairly empty on a Friday night. Theater has gone down over the years. Needs new owner to take some pride in the theater and bring it back to the days of old. Employees were all very friendly. both of them.
Basic movie theater experience. Reliable. Nothing fancy but fine if you are seeing a good movie
I love going to Regal because although it is not as up to date as other theaters, there are always seats available even for big movies. I recently saw Endgame on it’s Thursday night release and I was ecstatic that not only was I able to get great seats, but they had awesome Avengers themes popcorn tins and cups. Also, download the Regal app and earn credits for movies and concessions. I love it. I use it all the time. Yet another reason I love Regal.
Great prices, definitely recommend regal unlimited if you frequent the movies. Keep in mind that this is not a massive theater so if youre expecting heated reclining seats you wont find them here. I suppose you get what you pay for.
Previews went for 25+ minutes. Top Gun played twice. Had to leave and get ticket refund because I wouldnt have had time to see the end of the movie. My 4 year old son was excited to see the movie, but we had to leave. Management was not happy that we asked for a refund. Whos making these decisions to show so many previews? If the showtime is 6:45, start at 6:45.
WowYou really dont want my business.Hard to get in touch with anyone about a birthday party.Manager said they would send an email brochure, they did not. I checked the junk folders too. Info not available online either.Called back, get through all the prompts to wait on hold and then they forgot about me? Then you hang up on me.
I have been going to this theatre for as long as I can remember but doubt I’ll go back. They have moved the ticket sales to the concession stand. Why, I have no idea! All I do know is that it causes chaos and an extremely long wait if you just want to buy a ticket and not food or drinks. Especially on a holiday weekend.
I am a movie buff, but there is a reason fewer people are going to the theater. Actually many reasons. But in regards to Regal, the ticket prices and concession prices are high and the experience low rent. My HD TV has better picture and sound quality. The staff is friendly though. Make no mistake about that. The place is screaming for a makeover, especially with more and more folks moving to that area.
Popcorn was great. Seats are small and you have no room to move around and get comfy. You buy your tickets at the concession stand and that makes for long lines and congestion. I swear the previews lasted 30 minutes.
Great assortment of movies and love that you can buy your tickets online prior to the show - no waiting in line!
Like most other up to date movie theaters. Has very comfortable movie seats. Electronic recline
Tonight was my first visit. Its an older theater but is comfortable. Good food and drink choices and nice staff. The audio and video quality was as good as any other theater. We enjoyed our show.
The people at the concessions were AMAZING! My 1st impression when walking in was pleasant seeing Mrs. Theresa interact with the 2 customers in front of me. I said Hello when I walked up she Did not respond. I looked at her in her Face & said HELLO Mrs. Theresa how are you doing, she looked at me in disguise! Additionally I handled her my money. And held my hand out for my change & tickets she put then in the counter for me to pick up(which is the complete opposite of what she did with the prior people). If you dont want to TOUCH African Americans dont work I customer service! Im a Very understanding person & loving of All human beings! I wished her a good day & walked in. I will NEVER come back here again!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!
Saw a few movies here. Regal is always a decent place to watch a movie
The staff are friendly, courteous and thoughtful. For an older movie theatre, this one is very clean and inviting.
The seats here are small and uncomfortable. If you are any size over an 8, pick up your drink before standing up. Otherwise you will be wearing it. The bathrooms were out of soap and housekeeping was needed. Snack bar was just ok. I will not be returning.
Very disappointed with Regal Beach Boulevards new policy to sell movie tickets at the concession counter. By the time we got to the front of the line, after waiting over 20 minutes in line, our movie had started. So we opted to leave rather than walk in after it started. We patronize this theater often and were not aware of this change. How disappointing! The three gentlemen working behind the counter were working hard, but I think it would have been helpful to have staffed a couple more people.
It’s fine. Needs a facelift and some upgrades.
I like this original older theater. It takes back to my teen years 1995 lol. Perfect location
Sunday afternoon during football season is the best time for film fans. Friendly staff and nice accommodations! Always a good experience!
It was just wonderful as always.i arrived after it started. It was a bit too dark to find the steps easily. Movie experience was just great.
Fast and Friendly Staff. Place was very clean. Real Stadium Seats
Just like all other Regal Cinemas, it seems, there are no dedicated ticket sellers. You must stand in line at the concession stand to buy tickets, risking missing the movie trailers (which I like to see) or worse yet, the beginning of your movie.EDIT 12/29: Found out Regal chain has been sold to a foreign company, and THEY are the ones making all the staff cutbacks. Zero stars to the new owners & FIVE STARS to the remaining staff who are working their butts off to keep things running.
My wife and I went to see the movie Avengers on Saturday and had a great time. Our rewards card gave us a free popcorn and soda. The movie theater is very clean and cool. The only request I would have is for them to redo the chairs in the near future so they can recline. Otherwise I highly recommend this Regal on Beach Boulevard.
Previews before the movie without any sound is just plain dumb!! Ever tried to lip read a cartoon??? Turn on the sound Regal Cinemas!!
Nice and quiet, had a comfortable setting and warm aesthetic.
Could use reclining seats. Quality and service was good
Great theater. I have been coming here for years.
Older great theatre. I have been coming here for years.
That place is wonderful its awesome its very inconvenient down the street from where I live but they do need to upgrade on the seat
In the theater I was in, the seats were too far, and to get closer you have to sit in the front rows, which are all quite a bit lower than the screen, so you have to look up the whole movie. The front rows (which was about the front half of the seats, were all level, so if someone tall sits in front of you, you wont be able to see.
Always love our little Regal...good popcorn....candy fresh(at least the milk duds); nice staff.
The previews of coming movies was so loud that it hurt my ears. I went back to the ticket taker to tell her of the high volume level only to find another patron who announced that had also complained about the high volume level. A male employee with a walkie talkie contraption was also there. He was talking to someone in the projection room. He told us that the previews were always louder than the movie. I said not to the point where it was painful to a patron ears. I also told him that loud noises can cause hearing loss and that this if this was not remedided I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. It was finally turned down so it was no longer painful to my ears. I will look for another movie theatre to attend and I will tell others of my experience.
This theater is so bobo. Honestly needs to close for 3 years and catch up with 2020. This theater looks like its operating in 1999.
The theater is fine. Five stars for the comfortable seats, great picture and sound. Zero stars for their concession prices, which are beyond reasonable. Something like $20 for a bucket of popcorn and a soda.
Not good at night but other than that fantastic
I go here because its always clean. I never sit in recliner because Im a germaphobe.... I like the regular seats anyway. Food and drinks are way to costly. It really takes a special to get me to any movie....like....Downton Abby
Just as expected. They show a ton of movies, all the time, and have clean theaters. The service is pretty good and prices are comparable for the area. They offer discounts for certain age groups on certain days and have student discounts. This is the closest movie theater to the beach and offers a pretty good way to end a day on the sand. Concession prices are high but completely normal for movie theaters
Unfortunately the staff left the overhead light on in the theatre. We had to hunt down the staff in order to get the lights turned off so we could see the movie. They made no amends. On the upside, it is clean and well kept up
Nice place. Clean and friendly staff.
I dont know what kind of rinky dink operation theyre running here but those god damn seats are uncomfortable. Not even a 1 degree recline.maybe old people enjoy sitting straight up, but I dont. Update your freaking seats. You are tourists city, not a small middle of nowhere city. Very dissatisfied.
Does seats are very dirty. And it smells really badd
Absolutely RUDE DISRESPECTFUL concession stand workers, especially William! Complained to manager Justin after my change was practically THROWN at me while William was cursing out his coworkers! And theater 18 smells like urine! Calling corporate to complain but dont waste your money at this theater!
Great theatre. Great service. Family friendly.
This is one of my favorite movie theaters its a lot of fun unfortunately I think that they must be hurting for money cuz they havent painted in so long but it looks so cool at night with the neon lights during the day the paint looks faded but the movie theaters are excellent they keep the interior maintained very well theres a lot of parking theres a lot of restaurants and other things to do around it so its definitely a good movie theater and the Jacksonville area and centrally located as well.
I havent been here in years and I came to watch The Joker, did not realize they still have their old seats. Very uncomfortable especially when watching a 3 hour movie. I wish they would upgrade their seating! Ill stick to Tinseltown and AMC Regency.
Go during the week days at the early showtimes and you may have be able to watch the movie by yourself.
I love this movie theater due to its proximity to my apartment. Its clean, the staff is wonderful. I always have a good there with my family.
Closest theater at the beach. Still the old school layout non stadium seating
How are you gonna be closed on Labor day? Just because there is a little hurricane 2 days away? Silly. 5 other cars came through too in the 2 mins we were sitting there. As your phone number is a generalized 800 #, it tells us to check online... which is WHY we showed up: not a single online notice of closure!! No phone recording of closure either. Thanx for nothing. -Sincerely true Floridians.
Love going here and seeing Christian taking tickets.
Definitely needs an upgrade but overall friendly staff and the theater was clean. The previews started with sound and no picture. When the 3rd preview started I had to go report the issue and it was resolved.
Easy to find theater with plenty of parking. Screen, seating, sound system and building all seemed aged, clean but getting old. We got tickets and into the theater quickly. Also got our refreshments quickly and without problems. Upcoming attractions seemed endless. Exit at end of movie was easy and without issue.
Honestly I really enjoy this theatre for the slight nostalgia of how movie theaters used to be not too long ago. My favorite theaters are old school style with 1 screen, couches & quarter video games, but those are hard to find. Staff is always friendly, theater is clean, but dont go if youre looking for the fancy seats or reserved seating. They have upped their game a bit for the adult crowd and are now serving beer & wine!! Hooray
This is my favorite movie theather.
Saw Shallow. An older theatre but I enjoyed the experience.
Awful will never go back. The price for me and my daughter to come and watch a movie on a Monday at noon with popcorn and soda cost me $40! The seats don’t even recline couldn’t even get a free refill of my soda. Drank it before movie started because it was so hot in the theater that the place smelled like a sweat locker in a gym :(Went to the front to ask for someone to turn on the air mind you only person in the theater. They are all on the phone and eating cake. When we first got there The staff gave me wrong directions to the movie I needed. Didn’t seem to know anything.
An older Regal, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. They made the visit very pleasant. You can watch a movie anywhere but the people who work there can really make or break the experience, and these folks are wonderful.
This is my favorite theater. Always alot of varied start times and never too terribly full. Get to put your own butter on your popcorn too
Lots of movie choices. Good polite staff and never crowded for a matinee . Food is as expected. A little pricey but good service. Close to where I live so super convenient for me. Old school seating but it is stadium seating so no obstructed views.
The staff was very polite, and the food was not cold, which was nice. We could hear the movie next door. There was one way in and out of the upper rows. I wish there was more leg room. Im only 5 4, but had sore knees until the end of the next day.
We went to watch Lion King, with kids and had fun
Saw Mission Impossible. Theater was comfortable. By the time we got snacks, we were up to about $25 per person for the matinee. We can make popcorn at home and afford a nice dinner out for what we spent.
Ok theatre. Lots of hot food options.
My favorite theatre! Everyone that works here is exceptional and very helpful. As far as theatres in Jacksonville go Regal Beach is great!
This is my favorite movie theater:) The food, and movies are great and the staff is friendly!! Also, the place is always nice and clean.
I Love this place it has good food, drinks, and nice workers, bathrooms are clean and I really love this place I grew up going here
Fairly empty on a Thursday. No upgraded seats yet. Popcorn was good. Good time.
Really enjoyed the theater, nice seats, good sound!
Always good. They now also have cheeseburgers, spicy chicken buffet and wine.
The best. Love visiting Everytime Im in town
This is my concern...If youre going to serve HIGH PRICE FOOD there shouldnt be any excuses why a customer should be WAITING soo long for their meal because of a backed up kitchen....My movie starts in 2minutes and i cant even enjoy it because Ill end up missing my movie....Overall, the movie was nice ( which they had the recliners )
Good weekly promotions and solid service. Love the gentleman who rips tickets and directs you to the theater. He has been there a long time and never fails to greet with a smile.
Great theater! Usually not too packed.
Tixs are now sold at the concession & ticket takers are positioned across the concession, not by the hallway by the bathrooms.
Its a bit run down looking on the outside but is nice and updated on the inside.
I love going here to watch movies (yes, I know that is obvious). They have a new, wide variety of food but all of it is crazy expensive. A tiny box of candy is almost six dollars! I could go to the dollar store and get it for ninety-nine cents. This is to be expected and most places use this same method. I usually have a problem with the fact that they often forget to turn on the sound so they have to restart the film and the film ends up finishing way later. Ive also had the experience of the non 3D film not working so they came in with 3D glasses and you were either fine with it or you left without a refund. Not trying to be whiny but I believe if you pay for something, you should get that. Especially at thr price of ten dollars for one person. For a family of five, it isnt very fun. I go here with my friends and we have a great time. The sound is loud so, if you have sensitive ears, you may not want to go. I love the trailers they show so I get there early. I wouldnt recommend going often but, yeah, I do think you should go.
Kind of feels a bit outdated. The screens were good and I am a fan for small cinemas. However, the seats get a little uncomfortable after an hour.
Friendly and very open place. I do enjoy taking the family there and enjoying the movie. Food good too.
This movie theater is definitely showing its age. But it is kept up well. The bathrooms are clean. The popcorn, while wildly overpriced, is good. The diet Coke tasted weird though. Staff is polite and helpful. It is nice that they have so many screens because you can almost always get to see what you want.
Went and saw the new Star Wars movie and WOW! What an amazing movie. The staffing are nice, especially Andrea Allen, who is not only a former classmate of mine from High School but also a dear true friend. Shes helpful and beautiful at the same time. The food is great and the staffing are hard working people who deserve a lot of the credit.
Yes, it is an old fashioned theater, but it was the MOVIE EXPERIENCE, not like how open, cold, and empty things are now. Took me back to another time, plus they have this awesome candy machine called Sweet Amandas. I saw Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 in 3D and the pictures were great, and the chairs are comfy. Definitely coming back.
Been going since I was 11years old to this theater! Good memories and making more along the way!
I went over the weekend with a friend and I wasnt disappointed. The staff was patient while I tried to get my ticket pulled up on my phone, and they were all very friendly. The concession prices were also cheap compared to other theaters.
A friendly neighborhood movie theater, a great place for friends to hang out
Love this theater!!! It still has plenty of theaters wth tons of movies, but isnt so crowded or with the annoying type of movie goers. Staff is so friendly, place is very clean with lots of food and drink options including alcohol, decent wine selection.
Too expensive... if the theater sold more tix for a 3rd less the theater would gross more money because there would be less empty seats
Nice theater, Ive noticed that all Regal Cinemas popcorn is lacking. Cant get butter and salt mixed in, only on top. Mobile purchase of tickets is super convenient and easy.
The staff at this theater are by far, the most friendly, helpful, and courteous Ive ever encountered. Every single employee seemed to be having a good time doing their job, and every interaction I had with them was surprisingly fun. This theater, out of every other theater in Jacksonville, will be the one I take my family to. It was clean, it wasnt too busy or crowded, the seats were comfortable enough, and the screens are in good shape. Its worth mentioning that I and my partner actually enjoyed the staff more than we enjoyed the movie we chose on this night.
Good snack bar options. Wish the seats were a bit more comfortable.
