Plenty of wildlife viewing areas in the way in. One of the smaller parking lots
Great start for a snowshoing trip in winter
Great for cross country skiing.
Loved it. If you like hiking strongly recommend the hike to the gondolas.
Many hiking trails in the Tetons to choose from. Road in the park is rough and unpaved. Drive wisely.
Seems to be busy year round, as its a popular starting point for multiple hikes and cross country skiing outings. Parking is inadequate most of the time, as is to be expected for anything under the care of the National Park Service. There are no bathrooms or water sources, but there is an informational board with a trail map. In the summer there is a high amount of through traffic in this area, since the trailhead is on a popular scenic route, and because of this the road condition suffers. The road can be exceptionally rough, though not for lack of trying on the NPSs part. Plan accordingly and all will go well.
Beautiful
This was a great area to hike/explore!
Best place to start Teton Crest
Absolutely amazing and peaceful too
Stop leaving toilet paper all over the trails. Dont pick wildflowers. On a narrow trail, yield to uphill hikers.
Beautiful!
