Great fun. If you push forward on the handle, you will go faster than you want. Just give plenty of time for the person in front to get a ways down the slide. If they are slow, you dont want them to minimize your speed/fun.
The alpine slide is great! Amazing views on the way up on lift chair, fun ride down in a sled! Recommend 100% all ages!
Rather busy, making social distancing difficult. Great activities - especially the Cowboy Coaster. Summer camps looked involved. Activity attendants were hit and miss on attentiveness and instruction.
What a great activity! Awesome setting with amazing views and just a fun experience. We found a deal on Groupon and had an awesome day.
BE PREPARED to face the HUGE temptation of shelling out more dollars for more rides (at least there’s discounts the more you buy). The chair lift to the top is included with your ticket and merely having the ground fall away underneath and nothing but a lap bar keeping you safe was thrilling in itself. (Plus strange noises and sudden swaying scared us thinking our cart would collapse any moment) You also get great view of Jackson and beyond behind you. THE SLIDE WAS FUN = it wasn’t scary at all and probably could’ve been more thrilling- but it was still a great ride. Aww the ride ended too early making me want to go more times. EASY PROCESS ALL THE WAY = Although some of the staff appear to be bored teens and the line to the chair lift was very slow moving, it was a worthwhile experience.
I like the mountain coasters because it is more faster for me to go on
My kids had a blast. Will be coming back
My daughters loved this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had such a great time. We are definitely going to go again.
Prices for the types of entertainment are always a little on the pricey side(hence 4 stars). But my 8 year loves this stuff. And as parent, you have to make them happy after spending hours in the car. We just loved the coaster ride and the ski lift.
So, my daughter and I needed to get down the mountain, and we didnt know you could take the chair lift back down. My daughter had never been on an alpine slide by herself before. The lady working the top had such a thick Japanese accent, she and I could barely communicate. I asked if my daughter could go with me (shes getting bigger now) since I couldnt find any signs with posted weight limits. She made my daughter go by herself. I went along parallel with her, as fast as she was comfortable to go. There are clearly posted rules, including staying 20 feet away from the sled in front of you. Halfway through the journey, a man and his son came barreling down the mountain in one sled and, even as I screamed at the top of my lungs to slow down, sledded straight into my screaming, terrified daughter. Afterward (she was not injured), she went down the rest of the way as fast as she dared. Near the end, dude almost overtook her again, at which point she began screaming, sobbing, and hyperventilating. The whole thing was made twice as terrible since, when we got down, the rules clearly posted on a building at the bottom state that she was NOT tall enough to go down alone and our combined weight would not have been too much, so we should have gone down together. I am angry the woman at the top didnt realize this and disappointed that riders cant respect the rules and not terrify other children by smashing into them at high speeds.
The Alpine slide is always a favorite for my whole family. Every time anyone comes to visit we are always excited to visit a staple attraction in Jackson. Ive been enjoying this since I was a kid and I love to share it with my own children now.
The alpine slide is the only ride that was less than world-class. I rode it twice. The first time was great. Second time, my son got a sled that wouldnt go very fast so he had a train of disappointed riders behind him. My sled was bad on that ride as well. It pulled really hard to the left, which made corners tricky and unpredictable. Still had a good time. Just hope to get lucky with your sled selection. They really should throw out the bad sleds and replenish with better ones.
The cowboy coaster was fun, but for $20 per person per ride, its kinda expensive. The ride doesnt actually last that long, maybe 1 or 2 minutes. We played miniature golf afterwards and I thought the course was fun and challenging. I would like to try the other activities as well but we didnt have time.
A little overpriced but super fun ride with a gorgeous view
Was more fun than expected. Would definitely go again.
We enjoyed our visit. We did the slide and it was nice. The kids really enjoyed it
Average experience. I would recommend other activities there.
This was such an amazing place had a great time
Pretty fun, but definitely prefer the Cowboy coaster.
I only got to go on the coaster, but I loved every second of the two runs I did. I definitely recommend coming here and trying the rides.
Kids wanted to go a second time down the Alpine Slide immediately after we finished the first time.
We always enjoy a slide down the mountain on our way through Jackson...you get a nice, scenic, relaxing ride up on the ski-lift, then scoot down the hill in a roller-sled as fast (or slow) as you like. You can stop to take pictures if you wish along the way. People with mobility issues might have trouble, as you need to carry your sled over to on up on the chute, then clamber up onto it, but any normally active adult or child will manage fine. I wish it lasted longer, but its lots of fun!
We had a great time! It wasnt scary and it feels faster when youre on it than it looks when youre watching. The price, however, is a bit high for a large group. Better group rates or a cheaper price for both rides together would be more practical.
Best thing in jackson
Great time. Fun for all of us, ranging in age from 3 to 38. A great way for a ski resort to make some extra $ in the off season. Stunning views of Jackson.
It was awesome!!!!!! Some rides go to 10, but this one went to 11!!!
Good ride believe sign for lanes are backwards slow lane was faster
I thought the Price was a little high, but you do get a ride on a ski lift. I recommend not slowing the sled down. well only in the area where it says to. It was my first time on one and it wasnt as scary as I thought it might be.
Expensive
Great family fun
Lots of fun!
Over priced and irresponsible. They told us about 15 people a day wipe out on the slide resulting in burns and injuries.
My son and his friend (teenagers) thought the Slide and Coaster were great!
Fun times
Omg!!!!! So worth it! Kids favorite part of our vacation!
Because its scary
A little expensive. Track and slides are old. Some sections dont line up well.
Smelled funky.
Fun!
Family enjoyed it.
Family friendly and fun!!!
