Very busy had to wait a long time. Ok wine knowledgeable service
Delightful wine and excellent service.
Really enjoyed the beer flight! Wines were good too. Nice location, friendly staff in the tasting area. We got an amazing tour from the owner and some great stories.
So nice! Great staff and the owner gave a tour of his personal wine cellar and the airplane hanger! Everything was delicious and I felt comfortable asking questions. The staff was also very knowledgeable! A great stop for anyone who likes wine! They just opened a second location in Irish Hills that I cant wait to try!
Such a wonderful place! The tasting room is large and inviting, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and the wine is amazing! Highly recommend visiting if you havent already!
Had no idea what this about as it wasnt on the radar. But now totally an advocate as blew me away. Highly recommend!
I have been to many wineries and this is definitely one of my favorite! I went to their original location with some friends and family and we had a really great time. We also recently went to their new Irish Hills location and it was a blast too. Both locations have a very comfortable and fun atmosphere. The owner is a really great guy and makes it a point to engage with his guests as much as possible. He kept us entertained with stories of his travels and even invited everyone in the winery on a full tour of the facility and his house. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful!
Decent beer and wine. Excellent atmosphere and service.
Amazing wines! Beautiful venue. Lorenzo and Amanda are so much fun! Dont miss this winery in your travels!
Stopped in out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. The theme was unlike any other winery I have visited. Not sure what everyone is talking about regarding “too pricey” of a tasting. $10 and you get to keep the unique glass (I’ve been to pricier tastings where the wine was horrible). Wine was fantastic and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. Will definitely be returning! Highly recommend to anyone passing through the area.
Bought a private wine tasting for 4 on Groupon. The place was amazing and the experience was incredible.
Not welcoming at all!
Cute place. Very nice people. Wine was good.
Enjoyed the grand opening of the Irish Hills location. The wine was good but pricey. Great band in the evening. The food truck unfortunately ran out of food. Owner came off as a bit snooty. Staff was friendly. Overall, a mostly good experience.
To be fair, its a lovely facility.Didnt get a greeting from Sandy upon arrival. She was on laptop.Had to engage and encourage Sandy to talk about what they had to offer. She, admittedly, was not knowledgeable about the wines. No rinsing of glasses or a cracker in between glasses.Customer service goes a long way.
This is a beautiful Tasting room that resembles a fine French vineyard. The wines produced here are exquisite, without being pretentious. I highly recommend doing one of the tasting flights, and enjoy a glass on the patio.
Biggest disappointment of our wine tour (we visited here on August 22). $10 tasting (most pricey in my life anywhere for a half-ounce pour) and the hostess did nothing to engage us. Didnt bother to rinse our glasses between tastings. Not so much as a cheap saltine to cleanse the palate. Overpriced wine that was nothing special. Big, empty tasting room was used, which made the experience worse since a very intimate space at the original tasting room would have made a huge difference. The hostess had zero passion for what she was doing and we were in and out (and glad to be) in under 45 minutes. I bought zero wine; not that good! We were forewarned that this winery was mostly for show and ego, and this proved to be true.Would give it zero stars, but had to give a minimum of one to publish this.
Always enjoy our visits to Chateau, both locations. Irish hills is bigger with entertainment, Airpark is smaller and intimate.
My sisters and I love to go visit wineries. The server we had 7/3/2017 could have done a better job; she rushed us through, did not explain the different wines they had, didnt serve them in the proper order and her overall demeanor wasnt very friendly. I could understand if they had been busy but when we got there there was only 1 other person there.
We really enjoyed our private tasting. Lorenzo was amazing. Can’t wait to check out the Irish Hills location.
Great wine, a very nice variety and a few twists on your favorites! The tasting staff were knowledgeable and made it a great experience ! I will definitely be back
Found this little winery last summer and we loved it! Only one other couple was there when we arrived so we got to meet Lorenzo and take a tour of the grounds which was fun! The wines were a nice change of pace compared to traditional Michigan wines. Stop by even if it is out of your way!
French styled varietals and Bourdeaux Blends that are impressive. Certainly a wine destination not to miss. Delightful tasting room with fun Owner. Easy access from highway.
My girlfriend and I took a trip here yesterday and it was great. We showed up at 3pm and almost felt like we were interrupting but they couldnt have been more welcoming. They have great wines too. A real hidden gem.
I did not. Know what to expect when we pulled up to the winery gazebo where the wine tasting takes place but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the tasting room. It was tastfully decorated, our wine server was very nice and knowledgable about each wine, not to mention you try the whole list of wines. It was a great experience and we walked away with three bottles and some large stem ware. Great experience, love the wine!!
The expanded tasting room has elevated elegance to new heights. Bravo!
Great and cant wait till Xmas time!
Really wonderful red wines, the best Ive had from Michigan yet, in a neat place, worth the trip.
No tastings on the deck by the glass only. To participate in very Southeast Michigan Pioneer wine trail promotion you must buy a bottle.
Wine and beer
Fantastic Reds
Awesome wines, excellant hospitality!
