Such a cool place with really nice people. So impressed with what they do and how they care for their animals. And they have the absolute cutest and sweetest bird their that loves to be pet!!!!

People were friendly cool animals to see just wish the space was larger... hopefully in due time the woman will upgrade to a bigger space.

My grandchildren love to visit the animals here. They learn something each time they go.

A wonderful place to visit regularly. All the animals are well cared for and loved. Youre able to hold lots of different animals and learn about them. Also has a lot of toys for little ones to occupy their time with. The sandbox is my girls favorite. Also has little experiments kids can do as well. Just a wonderful place to visit.

This is a place where everyone — 2 feet, 4 feet, no feet — is welcome and made to feel at home. And there’s always something interesting to learn!

Its a great idea, but it wasnt executed well. There is garbage/supplies cluttering the walkway, fruit flies everywhere, and the place is filthy. We were there while the volunteers were just finishing up their duties for the day (and it was still disgusting). I have to say though that the woman that runs it is a lady with a great big heart and is knowledgable and enjoys teaching kids.

Great place for kids and adults!

This is the best educational experience for kids that is available in Jackson. The owner and volunteers are knowledgeable and kind. The experience is admission free, and my kids (students) had an absolute BLAST and were able to learn from the staff about minerals, animals and their habitats. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I spend my personal time there! Kudos!

Great people and interesting critters.

Took my nephew. He loved the animals, and director is friendly and engaging. But place is filthy! There is trash everywhere and the bathroom was especially bad. It is hard to walk through due to the garbage everywhere. Animal cages were clean, but otherwise the place needs serious clean up and organization, esp b/c it is small. If theyre serious about corporate sponsors they need to apply some elbow grease. I am a teacher and although this place has great potential, I would not go back unless improvements are made. Not a big enough space for a school group.

Friendly knowledgable women encouraged my children to touch, learn and experience science and nature. My kids had a blast and were begging to go back before we had even reached the car. What a gem!
