We had the wonderful experience of attending the Virtual Planetarium show by Ella Sharp Museum this past weekend. Boy what an amazing show it was. Austin, was an incredible, knowledgeable and fun host ! We saw our night sky local to our place which was super cool and traveled through the Solar System stopping at each planet to learn soo many amazing fun facts. The show was so informative and interactive. We all thoroughly, absolutely enjoyed it.Thanks a ton to Austin for his patience throughout the show, answering the barrage of questions from the kids and staying so much longer than the scheduled time. Highly recommended show.

This is a very nice small Museum. I really enjoyed the wildlife art area and clock display. The historic buildings are nice too, but tours of the insides are only given at a few specific times.

Ellas Sharp Museum/Park has left a impression on me since I was a child. A wonderful place to step back in time or picnic under a tree. A place that you can see the stars from the Planetarium or watch a game in one of its numerous fields. The landscape in itself is a sight to see. Beautiful Property and maintained well for preservation for years to come.

I had my wedding reception at the Granary. The staff were fantastic, the museum was open to my guests which they loved, and they made sure our space was very well taken care of. Chelsea Melin was absolutely amazing and accommodated everything I needed for the day. They were even able to bring in my husbands favorite beer which he thoroughly enjoyed. Hands down the absolute best place to host an event. Thank you for everything.

Very cool place with a lot of art and history of the Jackson area. They have very well kept old buildings with a Blacksmith shop and a one room school house. Also they have a venue that you can rent out for baby showers, birthdays, work parties, etc. This includes the use of their kitchen and bar set up with multiple taps. Very cool space that i would use again. The staff was very helpful and informative of everything going on this summer.

I was fortunate to attend and photograph a wedding here this past weekend. The Staff of Ella Sharp, including Chelsea (Rental Coordinator) and front desk were simply flawless to work with and incredibly caring and professional. The décor and room were lovely and offered ample enough space for photography. I can only imagine the Museum proper is as top notch as the banquet facilities.

This is a small, well cared for museum with a lot of info packed inside. They have tons of local historic pieces including the table where the Republican party was [supposedly] founded. A few other towns around the US also claim rights to that so Im not sure who to believe. Some of the pieces are from churches and other historic buildings or factories. My parents even remember some of it from when they were kids growing up in Jackson. They also host special traveling exhibits so check their website to see whats happening!

This Museum/Park is a wonderful place for everyone. The Museum has interesting art displays that change several times per year. They also have classes for kids and adults. There is also a really nice gift shop to explore. The outside grounds are beautiful and in summer are great for hiking, soccer, baseball, cross country races and lots more. You can go into the old farmhouse for a nominal fee and walk around the historic buildings. you can go into the granary restaurant or explore the inside museum. has alot of Jackson history stuff. place for kids to explore. also has a planetarium to go in. great place to go in the fall..they have a nice fall festival for the kids.

I havent been to this museum since I was a child. I was expecting it to be much smaller than it was.The staff was kind and informative and eager to help with any questions and directions asked,I will be returning and following their events on facebook as well as their website. There is a vast difference in seeing a photo of a painting or other form of work verses seeing it in person. Everyone should go at least once a year if not more! Especially with Changing exhibits.

The website is outdated, and no one can ever tell me about the class schedule. This is one of our local musuems, and the only place to take art classes in the town. (The is a community college 8 miles out of town that has some art classes.) However, the staff at the museum seems totally unaware of exactly what classes are offered or when they start. I stopped 3 times last year to find out about classes, and no one could tell me. I left my name & number, but never heard anything. I stopped again in Sept. and was told there would be fall classes but the person at the window did not know exactly when the schedule would be published. Then I went on line on early Oct. and found only a Summer Classes Registration form and list of classes. I called, and a man told me they did have fall classes, but I would need to come out find out more. So, my question is: why is this musuem so unconcerned about letting the public know when these classes are held, and how to get into one? Or are these classes really just for a few members, and not really for the public?
