We only had time to see the Mississippi History Museum--will check out the Civil Rights Museum another day.The exhibits were very interesting and informative. We enjoyed learning about the history of our state. The cafe is also good, featuring ssndwiches, salads, and soups by Fresh Cut catering.
I salute the staff on their professionalism, courtesy and knowledge. I especially salute Pam Junior for choosing high caliber staff and volunteers. Everyone must visit...
Great history, great staff
Great presentations and videos. Gained a lot of knowledge and appreciation for the sacrifices and efforts. I wish all schools nationwide could make a field trip here. Really need 2 days to experience it all. The small cafe has a nice variety for lunch.
This is what a well funded and staffed museum looks like. The entire experience was fantastic and a great time. The history museum was particularly interesting with some great items on display and informative videos available.
If youre touring Jackson, this is a place you gotta visit!
Very good
Not much parking on street. Day I went elevators in parking garage out of order. If you cant climb stairs, forget it.
This is a very nice place. Loved it.
Very interesting! We only had a few hours, but you could spend 2 hours in each museum.
Both of these museums pay homage to Mississippis uniqueness to its fellow states and the impact of significant events that took place here that shaped this magnificent, yet, imperfect country.
It was fun
Fantastic! Bring a sweater & some tissues! Both museums are totally worth your time & attention—even if you’re not from Mississippi!
Informative.
Had a great time
Gotta see both!
Great place
Must visit.
