Having our wedding at The Cyrus Place was the best experience. The beautiful and unique venue allows each person to make their event their own. Whether it be simple or extravagant, The Cyrus Place has everything you need. We loved working with Cyrus and the rest of the staff to plan a wedding day that was perfect for us. They walked us through every step and were happy to answer any questions as well as offer suggestions when needed. We had no regrets choosing They Cyrus Place because every detail was covered and on the day of they made sure we didnt have to worry about anything. They are kind, thoughtful, professional, and great at communicating. We recommend The Cyrus Place to anyone who is looking for a unique event space full of history and charm. We love to go back and visit any chance we get!

Nice elegant venue! The owner is very nice, and easy to work with.

They were absolutely wonderful. With covid we had to postpone from May to October and they made everything happen! They took all our concerns and questions with ease. Cyrus was great at providing all information that we needed.The place itself is absolutely beautiful, and requires minimal decorating for couples. They also provided live streaming since we had family & friends who could not make it due to Covid.We had a wonderful night and it was absolutely wonderful, everything was PERFECT!

We have worked with this beautiful venue a couple of times now and it is always a great experience. The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. This historic venue is just so visually appealing and has a lot of potential for any event. Their bathrooms on the main floors are huge and the womens bathroom has a well lit counter a mirror for makeup and hair. They also have a bridal suite and man cave. I highly recommend this Indianapolis venue and look forward to working with them more.

Working with Cyrus to plan our fraternity formal was exceptional. He was extremely professional and always available to talk. Being that we are a student organizational IUPUI, Cyrus was mindful of our budget and did everything he could to ensure we were well accommodated. We never even had to set up the venue. Walking in the day before our event, the place was finished and everything was exactly how we wanted it.During the event, Cyrus was there to help clean up at the venue and welcome our guest. The bartender we had was excellent as well!There was a mishap at the venue due to one of our guests, and Cyrus immediately addressed the problem without skipping a beat. He was an incredible host, and I would be happy to work with him again.Highly suggest this venue to everyone.

We had our wedding here - ceremony upstairs and the reception downstairs with close to 130 guests and it was perfect! Jillian, the venue manager, and the owner Cyrus were great to work with and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. Jillian was always willing to work with us to make sure we got exactly what we needed and wanted. The bridal suite and man cave areas are great - significantly better than any other venue Ive been too. The venue is already beautiful which helped us cut costs on decorations and the flowers. For weddings with less than 150 guests, I would highly recommend this venue!

I have only been here once to set up for a wedding, and the day was rainy and gloomy, but everything inside was cozy and Victorian. As far as accessibility, I did not find any elevator to the ceremony area upstairs, so if you have older relatives or disabled people in attendance, you might want to have it on the first floor. All in all, if are looking for a venue that is a bit on the dark and medieval side, this is for you. Very unique venue.

Was at an Amplify Indy event tonight at this location. First, Id like to note that Cyrus and his staff give great service to whoever theyre hosting.Second, we had 2 speakers and 2 performances tonight. The space offered itself to be great for not only for the talks but for the musicians who played (acoustic guitars). Plus there was ample room for the art work and the 2 segments of a play.Having said that, I think that the old East Street Church (which Ive always known it as) is one of the best places downtown to host an event and bring people together. Be it an event like ours, a wedding, or maybe even a class reunion?? Theres plenty of space downstairs and upstairs. (Including separate his and her dens!)Also, they have access to plenty of parking which is hard to find downtown.Definitely consider this place - The Cyrus Place - if you want to host an event downtown.

The Cyrus Place was the perfect wedding venue. We loved working with Jillian and Cyrus. Cyrus personally helped watch traffic for our photographer so that she could safely step into the street to take our photos in front of the beautiful front door. We highly recommend them!

Getting married here was such a wonderful experience. Jillian and Cyrus are the best. We couldn’t be happier with how everything went from our very first meeting with Jillian last fall to Cyrus letting us do a walkthrough on Labor Day.Everything you need to have an unforgettable wedding, dinner, and dance party is all in one location.

My wife and I had our reception at their venue; we had to cancel last minute with our original venue, due to some serious issues with customer service. Needless to say, we were very stressed that we had to find a venue in less than 3 months that fit our budget. Jillian and Cyrus came to our rescue; they worked hard to make what we wanted happen. We had a limited budget, but we were able to have an amazing reception due to the natural beauty of the venue and the teamwork of Jillian and Cyrus. We loved working with both of them and will always recommend the Cyrus Place as a great choice for our friends and family that are getting married. Thank you both for making our day so special!

Beautiful place for weddings, receptions, Birthdays, retirement parties you name it. Historical building that once was a church, still has it stained glass windows just gorgeous..

Fantastic intimate venue preserved with modern amenities and thoughtfully done. Unclear if it is the venue or event planner, but ZERO gluten free drink options (when our tickets included a free drink), was a real bummer.

A wonderful venue with truly breathtaking building. The staff is responsive, kinda, and very helpful. They are easy to work with and really helped make our wedding unforgettable. I would absolutely host a future event here. Amazing!

This place is fabulous for any type of event. The hardwood flooring is beautiful throughout the venue. The owner himself Cyrus, is very friendly. Cyrus assured me that my magical day in his great venue would be memorable, and I know it will be.

I had the amazing opportunity to see The Cyrus Place before it was renovated. Cyrus has done an amazing job transforming the space to what it is today! Cyrus is also a very sweet and gracious man and anyone looking to plan a business event, wedding, or banquet at the Cyrus Place will be very happy with Cyrus’s flexibility and willingness to make your vision a reality.

The owner is classy and professional. The space is magical and gorgeous. Only downside is the 2nd level is not handicap accessible. I absolutely love the space.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean, any mess was always cleaned up quickly. There is parking on spot, too! If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

My fraternity had our formal here. The space is very nice, the staff was even nicer. Someone lost an expensive bracelet and the staff members took turns helping a few of us look for it.
