My friends and I went last night for our first time going. We had such a great time and all of the staff were super nice and fun. If we needed help learning any of the techniques, our coach was super helpful. We will definitely be back again. Thanks!

My friends and I went to throw axes and have some fun! Obviously we expected to have a good time, but MAN did we have a good time. John was the gentleman that walked us through everything and also showed us some really cool ways to throw our axes. Never thought I could have throw axes and feel safe at the same time; however, John made it possible, so I will definitely be going back!!!

We had such a great time here!! As soon as we walked in they took us upstairs and got us started with no wait times! The instructor was so friendly and made our experience so much fun! He made sure to help us throughout our 2 hours with our throws and always made sure we had drinks! This was such a fun experience and I suggest everyone tries this at least once!! Great time for our first time throwing. Our coach, Sarah, was friendly and helpful. Had a great time with the games that were available. We Had a group of 6 and taking turns during the games moved quickly, a group of 8-10 would be perfect for a little more time between turns. It was more fun than I expected being a complete amature at axe throwing, but I could see this being fun if you had an interest to get good at it and visit multiple times.

What a fun experience! We REALLY enjoyed our time here tonight. We would definitely encourage you to book a 2 hour tine slot & get the FULL experience. John was our coach & he was AMAZING!!!!We WILL be back!

We had other plans for a date night that didnt work out. So, after a yummy dinner we walked down Meridian to find something fun to do! We came across Bad Axe and had a feeling it would be fun!! We walked in, filled out the waivers and had a seat on the couch to wait. John, a coach, came to us and said it would be about a 45 minute wait. He then came back to tell us there was a couple who would use one lane so we could use the other. John told us the rules and tips for a good time and he was so welcoming and knowledgeable and went above to make sure we had a good experience. Great Job, John! 10/10 would reccomend! Cant wait to book a private event!!

First timer, had so much fun! Staff was really helpful. When our reservation wasnt in the system, Grant got us into a lane anyway, then he helped a ton with my terrible axe throwing form. Will definitely be back.

Went to BadAxe to kick off my bachelor party, Max coached us and showed us the ropes. Patient and great place for first timers. Full experience is a lot of fun, highly recommend.

Bad Axe is an amazing place to just relax and have a lot of fun! The guy that hosted us was great and very helpful in showing the proper way to throw axes. OT is amazing and I will definitely be going back soon!!

I had a nice time, but something that bothered me is that they do not require guests to wear masks, even though signage asking people to wear them is all over. I definitely will not return until this policy is enforced, because you are very close to others when throwing the axes. I do not believe this is a good look during a pandemic and people should be aware of this fact before deciding to go.

This was a very unique experience with colleagues that I would highly recommend. There was a lot of fun, team building, competition and laughs. The coach was incredible and so very patient. His passion for axe throwing and people made this event even more special. I very much recommend it. I have been here on 2 separate occasions. The first time was on my friends bachelor party and the second visit was for my bachelor party. Both visits were a pretty good time. However, the first visit was by far better.Visit #1: The first time here was a party of 7 guys. Once we got there we filled out the disclaimer and we were escorted to our cage to throw our axes in. We were asked if we wanted anything to drink, yes they had alcoholic beverages in house, and we were shown the basics and all the safety tips were given to us. We were given 15 minutes or so to get our drinks and get the throwing down before our awesome hostess showed us how to play several games and even kept score for us and on top of that was our DJ. Amazing time.Visit #2: The second time I was here wa wa little lackluster. The number of people was relatively smaller (4 person group), our hostess was new to the business and didnt really know what she was doing outside of the basics/safety, the bar was close because she was under 21, and there was also another larger party there that was blaring music that none of my party cared to listen to. The worst part of all of this, was that bad axe throwing said that they emailed us to let us know we could bring our own alcohol, but we didnt receive an email. A bachelor party without liquid courage. The hostess tried her best to keep our party going with games she knew, which was only a few, so that worked out. But, we mainly carried on by ourselves which was ok. Lastly, the other party realized that we did not bring any alcohol and offered to share what they had brought. Mind you it was a massive party of like 10-20 people.All in all, the experience here was pretty great. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to go out and have a good time! Throwing axes was a great stress relief and a good way to bond with the guys. In fact, my wife wants our entire group friends to go out and enjoy a night of chucking axes down the lane!

Loved it here. My coach was super cool and very knowledgeable. He made our experience great despite being the only staff, with multiple groups there as well. Will be back.

We went there for a bachelor party and it was an absolute blast! We went right after they reopened and there was another bachelor party there, so they only had one coach (Grant) for the two groups but that didn’t matter at all because he did such an incredible job! He was super engaging, very friendly, super funny, and if any thrower was having a hard time getting it down he made the effort to actually coach and correct techniques. At the end of the event he combined our groups and had the two bachelors compete head to head on a “throw off”. Without Grant, it still would have been fun, but he took it to a whole other level and made it an incredible experience.

Max was fantastic coach and great at giving a god experience. We were in a group of 4 and we had a great time! The facility was clean and well maintained, Max helped us with everything we needed !! It was a great time!

We had such a great time with our coach Jesse! He was so much fun and was able to help each of us perfect our throw to be successful! I didnt think I would be able to do it, but Jesse quickly showed me that I could!! The games and Jesses humor made the 2 hours fly by so quickly! I highly recommend that everyone go - and ask for Jesse! We were a group of 9 ranging from 25 to 59 years old - and we all had a blast!

I visited with a group of 4 for the first time. We didn’t reserve a lane but probably will do so in the future. When we arrived, we were told we had about a 60-90 minute wait. The Indy location is conveniently located near a lot of bars so we stopped at Kilroy’s and had a drink before returning. We had so much fun! It’s much harder than it looks but the coaches were great at helping us with our techniques. I managed to get a couple bullseyes and we met some great people in the lane next to us. We will definitely be back!

I loved my experience at Bad Axe Throwing. Grant was an excellent coach. Our team of 6 played multiple games that Grant taught us. He also made us pose for photos. Hes an awesome guide. I went from scoring zeros to being a team hero. Would recommend. I was skeptical but had lots of fun!!!

Awesome experience! Dan was our coach and he was super fun! Very interactive and tons of positive energy. The games were great! I was with a big group of people I didnt know, but there was zero awkwarness. He did a great job floating around and coaching us all equally. I definitely plan on returning in the near future!

This was our groups first time going to Bad Axe Throwing and we will definitely be back. Courteous staff, fun atmosphere. Jesse was a fantastic coach who seemed to understand our strange sense of humor. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday.

The margins must be out of this world but the liability insurance must be a killer...wood boards and axes. We had a fun time for our team building event. Just wish we had a bit more space to spread out. There is no sign outside, only inside the building. Max was an interesting fellow, to say the least...sarcasm through the roof.

My work group went to Bad Axe Throwing and had a blast the whole time. Our fun instructor James was excellent and made the event fun and exciting. Easier than you think and such a thrill when you bury your axe in the target! I will definitely come again!

I had been to an axe throwing team building with my work peeps in WI, my husband was so jealous. Brought him with me on a business trip to Indy and found this place. It was a pretty epic surprise for him and he got the technique after about 10 minutes thanks to our Axe Master lol... our coach, Alex. Loved playing 21/12 and Cricket. I even landed a double axe. Energy was high, music was loud, beer was cold, wood was flying. Thanks guys!!!!!

We had an absolute blast. Our host De Jon was killer. Attentive, absolutely hilarious sense of humor, and an all around amazing host. None from our group of right had ever been, but we all want to go back. Anyone can do this. The unassuming quiet girl in our group absolutely dominated, besting the biggest, burliest guys of our group. They will take care of you, teach you how to throw, and make sure you have the best time ever. Well be going back!

We heard great things about this place and wanted to try it out. We got there about 40 minutes too early and they opened up early for us! The guy we worked with was great! We had a lot of fun and will be coming back. My only complaint is that I wish we would of had a few more people in our group then just the two of us.

Its a fun experience and especially good when your with a group of people you know. The staff was fantastic and did a great job of coaching. This was my first experience at axe throwing and I was hitting the bulls eye in no time at all. I was having such a good time the two hours I was there went by really fast. We had a fantastic time our Coach Hadley was amazing, very energetic, funny and handled our rowdy group like a champ. Only complaint would be a little unorganized getting going and hard to get to the bar having to walk in front off all of the other patrons trying to throw in their lanes. Otherwise great time had ball all in our group.

We had a awesome time at Bad Axe Throwing. My boys and I were in town with a couple of friends for a daytime conference and were looking for something special and fun to do for the evening. Bad Axe Throwing was the perfect find and certainly did not disappoint!As the oldest of the bunch I was worried about safety with so many people in the facility but I soon found that I didn’t need to be concerned. Everyone was well behaved and focused on the task at hand. The facility was well run and completely safe.Thank you for making our evening one to remember.

The company I work for decided to book our annual Christmas party at Bad Axe Throwing this year. It was by far the best Christmas Party weve ever had. Some of us had never gone before but the games you play are really fun and can even get someone who didnt like the idea of throwing an axe into it. I can not praise Coach DeJon enough he created a fun atmosphere and gave helpful tips to everyone to improve their throw. I would come back with friends or family and request him because he is clearly passionate about his job and makes sure everyone is having a good time.My experience was so fun and memorable if, given the option of going to a Bad Axe Establishment again, I would choose it over its competitors.

Our family visited Bad Axe Throwing for a surprise Fathers Day adventure. Sooo much better than another shirt! After a brief but complete orientation we were throwing and having a great time! We all got the hang of it in no time. Certainly an out of the ordinary experience. Outstanding!

A group of friends and I walked in for an early Galentines day celebration this past Saturday, and were immediately welcomed by super friendly staff that showed us the ropes and then let us be to have an hour of cathartic, wood-splintering fun. Cooper was phenomenal!! This was our first time and it was even better than we expected.He was entertaining, a great teacher and was willing to put up with our ridiculousness.They have an amazing beer selection, the place was surprisingly well climate controlled. Definitely a place we will be back to in the future. And as amazing as the other instructors might be, Cooper is number one!!!

My wife turned 30 recently and I asked a couple of her friends from work to find us a spot to celebrate it, and they ended up getting us a party room upstairs. It was awesome the Facilitator Max was very cool, and extremely skilled with an axe. I was having a difficult time getting the hang of it, and he went out of his way to work at making sure I was having an equally good time. It was an extremely fun experience and I’m looking forward to our next gathering.

Took my salon staff here as part of our Christmas party festivities. We had a great time! Our coach Max was awesome and made it fun. Most of us were totally intimidated at first but we became amazing bad axes...the mancans may have helped!

Great night out with my wife. Axe throwing is a blast. I could see us doing this a lot more often... If it werent for the cost. It was $26/hr per person and another $22 for drinks. This is a once or twice a year type thing for us, but I think everyone should try it!DeJon was a fun coach, and host for our visit.

The staff were very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. I was a little skeptical about how much fun I would have when my group told me what we would be doing for our outing. However, I was proven wrong once we got to Bad Axe. I had a BLAST!!!! It was very entertaining and we all had a GREAT experience.

Ive been twice with a group and we had Cooper and Grant as our hosts. They were both pretty awesome. I pretty much suck at throwing axes but its still a good time.

I was really impressed and pleased with my whole experience with Bad Axe Throwing from booking to throwing my last axe (by the way I hit a dead center bullseye) until, I filled out the survey on my phone about my experience and was told I would receive a Bad Axe Throwing sticker after completing and never did get. I was very disappointed not to receive, what I consider a souvenir of a great life experience. But, I Still think Bad Axe Throwing should be on every persons Bucket List!!!!!!
