YAT allowed my daughter to build her confidence while expressing herself through the form of art. Over the past semester, Ive seen my daughter come out of her shell and enjoy being around groups of people. She really enjoyed making her own costume and being front and center on stage. The performance, was well executed. Every child had a decent amount of lines. I highly recommend this program for young actors.

My kiddo loved this program, it is very focused on self empowerment - very positive atmosphere and they dont overbook the classes.

I was a actor here for three years. I have no idea how long ago that was, but it hasnt been that long And I know that based on everyone elses reviews, that mine wont really matter. But coming from experience, I would not suggest this for anyone who just wants a fun, after-school experience, or maybe even just a place-holder if you have to do an extra-curricular activity. My entire time while I was there was just very... awkward. It almost seemed to be a little elitist. And I do understand, obviously the best actors are going to get the best roles, but for newcomers, it can be very hard to crawl your way into the group of veterans. Its almost like walking straight into an old western saloon and all the other gunslingers just glance at you and then go back to their drinks. If you are not 100% commited to these classes, then I dont know if there is any way to really live up to those who have come before you. I have a lot of friends that were also in the program, and all of them left because of the same reasons I stated. They all felt left out, or excluded. Which I do understand, not everyone can be the lead role. But it was just a draining experience. If you are thinking of coming here as a fun side-gig, I wouldnt do it. Stick with your local school play. Then your alongside people you recognize, and youre all in the same boat! YAT is a TOP-TIER acting program. My experience (And I apologize if Im saying experience a lot.) was probably one star. But obviously other people liked this program, so for that Ive given it two. Again, this is just my opinion.

My children receive 100% love and encouragement from every student in the class. Now where else can you find this?? The staff are quite passionate and help each child grow.YAT changes outlooks and boosts self esteem.Thank you staff for your dedication and enthusiasm.

I have to laugh a little at how this place has 5 stars. My experience was horrible with having my child attend. To all the instructors you dont teach a student how to gain confidence with bullying them to a point were they want to leave crying. Justins incessant yelling and temper tantrums were beyond unacceptable in a professional setting. Almost embarrassing that a grown man behaves this way In front of not only my child but other children! My child is confident!! Shes a beautiful young girl!! She knows her worth but I truly feel bad that she had to experience what she did with the people she did. I would give you less than 1 star if I could you barely deserve that. I honestly hope that one day you can experiment with different ways of teaching your eager students confidence without having to use bullying.

I think the experience I got here was the best I’ve ever had. Each director cares about every student and helps them become an improved individual. YAT is all about Self Empowerment and making a better future for these beautiful beings. Every person that has been here, without a doubt, has come out the other side a better person. Yes, it isn’t easy and not every moment makes you want to scream with joy but, the feeling I get when I’m on stage is worth all of the hard work. Every session I create a new family that I love and loves me. Every single person that does Yat will have a bright future because of what Justin, Gara, Georgeanna, Anne Marie, Ryan, Cathrine, and all of the many successes teach us. We are taught creativity and discipline all in one. Where else can you get that? Where else can you listen to some of the brightest minds tell you that you can do great things and accomplish whatever you want to with creativity and discipline? This program is a dream. It gave me confidence and more of a work ethic. They don’t have us sit down at desks and learn about math and science. They have us move and live like there is no tomorrow and, I’m the end we should all respect this. We should respect the people that don’t want to conform to society. They are making the future one person at a time, and if everyone has the mind of a yat student, then we can change the world.
