I was blown away by the amazing care that was given to my 92 year old mom. Various employees used kindness and humor to help us navigate the crowds and parking. I would especially like to think the employee who greeted us at the door, the long term employee who helped me reconnect with my driver(husband ) and pleasantly waited at the door with us for him to return, and especially the man who ran ahead and placed a chair at the door for her to rest. You were all so respectful and went above and beyond to make our night special! Thankyou!

Went to see Hamilton. Left, Row NN. Ticket $300+. BEWARE. The seats appear to be on a flat platform. The person who sat in front of me blocked my view of the center stage. If I leaned around that person, the next row in front person blocked center and right of stage. Only by extremely leaning my body could I obtain a minimal viewing of center stage. AND, I wasnt the only one who could not see; only the tallest of persons were not doing the extreme lean to see the stage. For the price paid one should be able to see the stage. By the time intermission occurred, I had a cricked neck. I listened to the second act. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

Was treated very rudely. I arrived to see Hamilton. My friends arrived earlier than I and was told to take my ticket with them and they couldnt leave my ticket at Will Call however other people were allowed to pick up their tickets. My friends were told to put their phones away and they did not know I was there. After a half hour of waiting for my friends to come out with my ticket a security guard came up to me and said I had to leave. When I explained my situation and I do have a ticket he said I dont care you must leave or I will call the police.

This is one of the most well run venues ever! You do have to go through security and purses are hand searched so bring only the minimum. It was quick and efficient. If you order a drink make sure you confirm the size before paying. They had 5.00 beer special, my husband only asked for it by name and not size so they automatically give you the large can at 12.00. Food and drink are pricey. A little more than I thought it would be. You cant bring outside food or drink in. Parking was not a problem as we got there an hour early to park and pick up tickets. Seats are quite comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Please be careful when visiting this venue the security is awful. I was physically assulted in the parking lot by an intoxicated belligerent woman out of nowhere. A group of security officers were a few feet away watching, looking amused. My sister had to yell at them to get them to intervene You dont see this?! When they finally did approach, one of the officers who had a Marion County sheriffs uniform on refused to take a report when told him I wanted to do press charges against the woman for attacking me. There were security cameras right outside of the venue and security had seen the incident. The officer refused to take my report and let the woman leave. The very next morning I filed a report with IMPD who said that I should have called them instead and that the officer should have taken the report. Old National is known for poor lackadaisical security. I contacted the events manager at Old National the next day and he was supposed to send an email I could respond to any time for compensation tickets. He never sent the email and my requests have gone ignored. If you choose to go to this venue please know that you will not have adequate security if an incident occurs do not rely on old National security and call 911 to get impd. Also remember to pull out your phone and record all incidents and get names of those involved.

A great venue overall! Went to the Egyptian Room and it was a large enough area for a good amount of people, but rather hard to see the performer if you arent in the first two lines of people. Lots of refreshments are available, and seating and tables are available on the side for about $15 extra dollars. Outside of the room, the whole building is very beautiful and there are plenty of areas to sit and take pictures, or overall just hang out. Security is very good and you can ensure safety. The only con I have about the whole experience was that the parking booth didnt accept credit cards, we had to go all the way inside for an atm, then go back and repark. I had bought tickets for me, my fiancé, my dad, and my mom in row PP in orchestra section to see The Lion King as a birthday gift to my mom. The experience was AWFUL! Let’s just say my dad is over 6 foot tall and he even couldn’t see the stage very well because the row in front of us sat higher than our row. If they’re going to sell those seats, don’t rob people by charging $116 a ticket and not allow them to see the show. The last rows in the orchestra section are a terrible layout and don’t advise anyone to buy those seats! After the intermission we were walking back in and saw plenty of booster seats (I understand they are for kids) we saw people sitting in the same row as us grabbing them so we did too. An employee comes in before the show starts and rudely tells us to give them back. Everyone in our row explained to him that no one could see the stage and he again rudely asked for them back.(Also, some important parts of the show were cut off because the ceiling from the balcony section was lower. Like I said, do NOT buy anywhere near the back section of the orchestra area.)The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2 is because we went and saw the little mermaid and we sat in the balcony and the show was Amazing! A whole different experience than this recent one.

We saw The Lion King here over the weekend and the show itself was fabulous. The theater was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. There are a few areas where improvements could be made: more restrooms would be helpful (though a remodel would be difficult), line barricades to help identify individual restroom and concession line flows, and numbering on the chairs themselves and not the arm rests to minimize confusion. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

The chairs in the Murat are beyond uncomfortable. I’ve been a seasoned n ticket holder for several seasons now, and I will not be re-upping next season. They are uncomfortable, and although I’m only 5’1, they are extremely right and if a taller individual sits in front of you, it’s very hard to see. The chairs also squeak, so you hear that above the performance. Attendees are also permitted to enter during the show performance, so there’s squeaky and flashlights and people standing to let people in. It’s very unprofessional and not worth it.

We had tickets to see a comedian tonight and when we asked where to find our seats the usher sent us into the theater for fiddler on the roof. Luckily we realized the stage props were not for our show and found the right theater. The chairs in the Egyptian room were super uncomfortable and very close together. Since they are all the same height, someone like me who is 51, is unable to see the act on the stage. I watched the back of someones head the entire show. If the seats are going to be descending then why not have televisions mounted so you can have visibility to the stage?

Our experience was better than we could have hoped for.Despite arriving slightly late due to the long drive, we were able to find (paid) parking nearby quickly and easily. Once we got inside, our center second row seats were already taken by someone else. However, the usher was extremely kind and reassuring about squeezing through to claim our spot. We were able to get into our seats without issue and enjoyed the show from there out.The only line we encountered was for merchandise, which I do not believe was sold by the theater itself. Even then, for the number of people in line ahead of us, it moved incredibly fast. Every theater employee we made contact with during our visit was extremely polite and/ or helpful. Intermission was 18 minutes and I would estimate that 95% of people were able to return on time, very impressive staffing efforts! He couldnt sit in the seat and sat sideways with his arm over a child that was with the group. It would have been impossible to see around the gentleman. Fortunately for us and unfortunately for someone else, they were in the wrong section and had to move. I drove to this theater from another city, two hours each way. I had been here before and visited the Egyptian Room (standing room) which I thought was beautiful. I had high expectations, but... The seats in this theater (Murat) are a tragedy. They are tiny, spaced super close together. The spacing I can expect at a theater to a degree, but those chairs aren’t comfortable for anyone who isn’t the size of a child. You get no personal space at all. I came to this theater for a concert which was about 2 1/2 hours long. Of course everyone was standing. Again, expected. Near the last 15 minutes or so, I wanted to sit and rest and couldn’t do that because the seat of my chair was broken (not of my doing, it was like that when I arrived) and because it was assigned I couldn’t trade places with anyone. The entire seat of the chair was displaced from the frame. So I had to leave the inside of the theatre before the show ended, to go sit in the lobby because my assigned seating was not functional. Overall I hope my favorite bands, if they come to this venue again, skip the seated theater. It’s terrible.

Went to a concert last evening with my daughter in the Egyptian Room and was really amazed at the organization of the facility workers and the hospitality of the employees. Even when there was a little heat exhaustion in the crowd, the staff was prompt and engaging. I cant say the show was great (not really my genre of music, but gaging by my daughter it was stellar), but I enjoyed the venue. Smaller venues allow you to feel more connected to the experience, just wish some of the larger names would remember they too started in smaller venues.
