FUN. Five stars because this is excellent place for kids or other to learn the game in a relaxed environment. Greens are not great. But fun.

I really like it. The staff is very friendly. Hit the range a couple of times and played the front nine once. Really a cool set up for practice, for seniors and for kids. Just enough to work on specific aspects of your game. Such a nice spot.

Nice pitch and putt to teach beginners, and with the small greens, a nice practice for awkward in between shots for experienced players. Only critique would be the tee boxes could use some love, and the greens aren’t cut in a way to teach new players how to put, they roll like fairways. Still, fun, cheap way to get some practice.

Very nice people in the pro shop. 18 hole Par 3 golf course $8 for 9 holes, $14 for 18. Half Bucket of balls is $4 and a full bucket is $8. Also, has a foot golf course as well!

I love Shortees. Been going here since it opened and hasnt changed much over the years. Driving range is pretty simple. Pads and grass to hit from, depending on rain grass can be a mess but what do expect? Usually very clean and a pretty mellow group. The course is easy to play and walk. Good for shorter iron play or younger kids to practice. The prices are the best in the area.

This place on the surface isnt special but I give it 5 stars because its a unique one-of-a-kind golf stop in Indianapolis. It has a driving range and 18 hole quasi pitch n putt. I say quasi because typically a pitch n putt will be no more than 60-65 yards but this does have some up to 90 but nothing more if I remember correctly as I havent played the back nine in a while. It costs $8 for 9 holes and I went on my lunch break, played two balls, and was done in 35 minutes. It has small postage stamp greens so it demands accuracy and theres not a flat putt on any green. Even though the greens arent cut low that might change once its warmer. You dont go here to practice putting, you go here to practice your wedge game, get some exercise, and get away during the busy workday. Get yourself a Sunday carry bag for cheap online and toss 3 wedges and a putter in there and its easily the best $8 you can spend on a lunch break.

It is a driving range and 18 holes of pitch and put tucked in between a neighborhood and an interstate. The par 3 holes are short but well kept. Driving range is about 230 plus yards. It is reasonably priced and very conveniently located from Nora or Carmel.

Great price! The young man at the front counter was really nice. We had a whole nine holes to ourselves, so we were able to take our time. Fiance nearly lost her ring in the grass :/ Well, I nearly lost it... whatever, we found it! Left our clubs there as a donation to other golfers who may be traveling like we were.

I took my wife and 5 year old daughter to Shortee and had a great time. The holes are in pretty good shape. It was the first time my daughter want golfing and it is a great place to start at or practice your chip shots. You can play 9 or 18 holes. My daughter wants to go back and play again. I am looking to take her back there.

I think it is a tad bit overpriced..but the course was actually in pretty good shape. The greens were a little furry and the tee boxes were rock hard but it was enjoyable. Its not Augusta but its playable and fun.

Owner/manager is a crazy hillbilly who simply likes to yell at people! Was a foot outside the ropes on the range to try and hit off of the little bit of grass they had and he charges the range with a golf club in hand screaming and yelling. The course is not the problem its the people that ruin this course and the experience of golf in general!

Wish I could make this zero stars. Hit balls after work today. Zero - and I mean ZERO - grass between the ropes. I move a step up from them to have some grass to hit off of. Go through my $7.50 large bucket and then I walk to front of range and pick up three stray mis-hits. All of a sudden some dude comes up on a cart and starts bawling me out for hitting outside the ropes and then accuses me of stealing the three balls I picked up. Dude was a complete and total jerk (Id use worse language but I want to make sure this gets published). He said I have enough customers I dont need you. Fair enough d-bag because you wont be getting me back for sure.

Not for amateurs on the range. They probably wont miss me, but I wont be back. I hit a couple outside the net and the guy basically told me if Im going to suck that bad, I cant actually practice driving.Good for practicing chipping on the course. I just really got a bad taste in mouth when the guy starred at me for a solid ten minutes then told me that I couldnt hit my driver anymore. I hit about 3 out and no one was playing the course so there wasnt a risk of hitting anyone.

I guess one would expect a little snobbery when entering the game of golf, but not at a tiny place like shortees. Im relatively new to golf and was looking to practice up a bit. When a couple of ball machine tokens were getting stuck in the coin slot, I approached the old man behind the counter and asked if it was just my tokens that were the problem. Apparently you have to hold them just right and really flick them into the slot in order for them to work. Im sure this is common knowledge to regulars at this place who are used to the worn out equipment that shortees has. Rather than simply tell me this, he says nothing, looks at me funny, mutters some sarcastic remark to the other staff and customers and has a good laugh before sending his errand boy on a slow walk outside to also look at me funny and put coins in the slot for me as if i was a child. I have a choice of where to spend my money and it wont be here anymore.
