This course has so much potential. I live right down the street and have enjoyed playing here for over 15 years and most days are great but lately there have been some major mistakes on managements part.We showed up at noon for a 12:30 tee time and was told they were a little behind. We didnt tee off until 1:25. When I went in to see if they would give me a free fountain drink for the inconvenience I was told no. At the same time they were on the phone taking tee times for 30 minutes later knowing they were already an hour behind schedule. I cant remember the last time I actually got off on time on a nice weekend. 7 minute tee times are not working. There have been a couple times where we were late teeing off because they ran out of carts. There would be 3 groups waiting on carts while hole 1 stood empty of players. This past sunday we teed off 30 minutes after our tee time and when we got to hole number 2 there were 4 groups backed up on the tee. When we come around the turn and head to number 10 there was a new 2-some in front of us that wasnt there before. When we asked them where they came from they told us that they were told to start on the back. It took us 3 1/2 hours to play the front because they were backed up and overbooked and then they send groups off the back, which has happened multiple times before, in front of us to slow us down some more. Im sure you can imagine the frustration at this point. We told the group that they are not cutting in front of us and to go back up front. As soon as they left another group pulled up behind us that was not the group following us on the front. They too said they were sent to the back nine to tee off. This is just ridiculous, unprofessional, and mismanaged. Ive heard a lot of people complaining about how this golf course has been ran lately from guests and even from multiple workers at this establishment. The course itself is one of my favorite to play but if this nonsense continues it will lose some very loyal customers.

Fairways and greens in great shape the coarse layout was fun to play.there are some elevation holes. greens can be tricky depending on flag placement. Most Sand traps are hard as a rock. Has nice range and putting area. I would play here again one of the nicer coarses ive played for $40

One of the worst managed courses in the area. Course plays fine, greens are too slow. Space your tee times more than 7 minutes apart. Don’t let golfers who are 20 minutes late for their tee time go in front of those on time. Pretty simple things really. With all the money you’re making from 7 minute spread tee times, you could at least hire a ranger so every golfer doesn’t waste 5.5 hours of their day. Gave it multiple chances this summer but not coming back.

Totally enjoyed this course...the people working there are so nice, it was my first time to golf here, it was a challenge for me but loved it. Thank you. Well be back.

As Im waiting to approach the counter I notice a scramble dinner in full swing in the club house. There were over 100 folks in that cramped room and only 2 people wearing a mask. When I mentioned it to the owner/pro he shrugged it off then charged me extra for wanting my own cart. Course is in good shape. Pace of play was a lil slow.

The course itself is in good shape and fun, but the slow pace of play here is crazy. Played 18 today and it took almost 6 hours. The round prior to this took a little over 5 hours. Tee times are packed in the morning/late morning and they have ran out of carts the last few times as well. Pro shop staff is nice and helpful as is the staff at the snack bar. Fun to play just be weary of the slow play.

Always a great place to golf. Course is well maintained. Course is great fun! Great people work there and they take extra care of you!Most definitely come have an outing here!

I played here on Saturday, July 18th in the morning. When I called to walk-on as a single the pro-shop said they could add me to a twosome at 9:25, and to just show up. When I showed up they had given the slot to someone else and I was given the 9:39 slot. I didn’t tee off until closer to 10AM. It looked like the management had decided to place tee times with 7 minutes of separation. From the start I knew this would be an impossible pace to keep up. After finishing the first hole, I had to wait for 2 groups at the 2nd hole, and another group and half for the following 3-4 holes. It wasn’t until hole 7 that I could tee-off freely. As a fairly experienced golfer, I expect to play a full round using a cart in 4-4.5 hrs. By the time the 4-hr mark hit, I was on hole 14, and that was only having played through 1 group ahead of me, AND joining a second group ahead of them by myself. The pace of play ruined my golfing experience. I wasn’t able to finish my round in time as I had prior commitments planned for 4.5 hours after my tee time. I realize I could have given myself more time, but I expected to start at 9:25 to begin with, which didn’t happen.The course itself was in pretty good condition, bunkers raked, and greens properly maintained. Hole #11 was probably my personal favorite. I wish I had the time to play the full 18... the staff was very friendly, nothing against them. Scheduling could have been much better to provide a more enjoyable experience.

Great course, good condition, has everything you need in golf course. Everyone there is friendly sometimes can be slow but if your in a hurry shouldn’t be playing golf.

This is a very good public course. Played it for the 1st time yesterday. It is scenic, challenging and well maintained except for the bunkers. The sloped greens are very challenging. I will play there again.

Staffs are very polite and nice. The place is amazing.

Very nice place to take walk or hike. Have to watch out for the trail bikes though.

Its a very nice course to play and is in excellent condition, tee to green.

While the greens of this course can be strange and difficult. It is consistently one of the few places I have always played good at. The layout is strange especially with the back nine so using a cart is preferred. This is a great course in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite places for a total golf experience its got a fairly challenging 18-hole golf course thats not too long it has several putting greens a driving range and a chipping range so you can work on your entire game at one location prices are reasonable and Personnel is helpful and friendly they also have a snack bar and a pro shop

Loved the round here. Nice rural views, but easily accessible from 465. Affordable and friendly. Only thing that would make this better was if I was good at golf.

The course was very nice. Unfortunately most of the patrons had their nose in the air like they are better than everyone else. I and my friends dont dress like Curtis strange. We paid our money just like everyone else. Will probably move on to friendlier courses. Like I said, we really liked the course

Great condition. Great staff. Great course layout. From the first tee to the 18th green, this course was very well manicured and in very good condition. The bunkers were raked and filled with actual sand that bunkers are supposed to be filled with. The greens are smooth and challenging at times. There is a healthy amount of water coolers throughout. Definitely play here.

I like the re-model of the clubhouse. The course was in good shape as well. I like how theyve maintained the weeds and out of bounds on several holes.

The course was great well groomed and very well layed out. The greens are slow and the hot dogs are boiled. That is the only problem. Great golf!!!

Make a tee time online and save some money. For the price and course its a great place if your an intermediate golfer. Course is very forgiving but allows you to use every club in your bag throughout the course. Im going to play this place from now on

I purchase a Zoo book every year to enjoy the Golf coupons. Last year I had an excuse that I could not use my coupon since I didnt have a 2nd person joining me. No where does it say you have to use on another player. I bought it for me, not them. So needless to say this was never used. This year I tried to use on the weekend after 2pm, since it states Sat, Sun & Holidays after 2pm, guess what? I was given another excuse that the coupon is not valid for Twilight rates, which start at 3pm. So basically I have to use either on weekends while at work or between the hours of 2pm - 3pm on weekends. Next they charged a couple of walkers $26 to WALK. I showed the walkers the website stating $18 and they came up with some poor excuse that the rate listed was for Spring rates, and they did finally give back the difference.In all nobody forced them to join Zoo Book, but if you want to use your coupon just be prepared for some excuse how you can not use it. Also if you are able to use one, make sure your getting charged correctly. They charged $20 each for someone that should have only been $38 total. $26 to ride plus $12 cart fee.
