Warning: Its a total scam led by a brilliant con artist named Joe Lorenzano. While everyone is extremely friendly and helpful at first, it turns out they are all really good con-artists. They make it nearly impossible to leave the club and charge you mysterious fees that periodically show up and they offer no explanation. When you try to cancel your membership, they continue to charge you until you spend weeks hunting down someone who can help. It took over 6 calls to finally get help from some Controller who is apparently only available two days a week. Coincidentally, those two days are never when you call. Once again, the service and golf course are great while you are there, but once you decide to leave, they make your life as miserable as possible. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
Beautifully kept course. An Indy gem!
There for a group meeting, after dinner hours, though the kitchen was yet open, and we were invited to place orders. Some ordered, and what appeared looked to be some of the most awesome meals and appetizers offered anywhere. The cheese and cracker plate was full, full, full of a good variety of meats and cheeses, and the size? A huge serving! The burger plate looked absolutely awesome and the fries the best I’ve seen at any sit down restaurant. Had it not been my first meeting with this group, I might’ve put decorum aside and asked for a fry! Can’t wait to treat myself to lunch there! Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Played Maple Creek yesterday as I thought I would start the Pete Dye Trail Challenge on Petes first 18 hole course design. The staff were very friendly and the course is in beautiful shape! Very nice layout and challenging as the natural hazards blend in beautifully with the terrain but are manageable if you plan for them. There are a couple of holes that will dare longer hitters. Tight fairways and narrow driving lanes on a few holes make it nice track to navigate. Very enjoyable course, I definitely will play it again!
Nice place, good condition
Went to a Christmas party there. Nice set up and staff was nice. Wished some of the food was hot.
Nice place could offer more variety in there membership, no consideration for snow birds want 12 month $400 per month. But its a great place to play a round.Private.
Great course and staff! Members are great too. Always a highlight of my year getting to play the course.
Best chicken sandwich in the city!! Watch out chick fila and Popeyes maple creek is the best kept secret in the city!
Great established course! Greens in excellent shape in spite of a dreadfully wet spring. Look forward to going back
A great golf course that is a little bit tricky but ultimately fun
Greens need work way to slow
Good service, good food and cheap bar! Nice place to chill!
My cousin had her baby shower here it seemed ok
Maple Creek Golf & Country Club is home to Pete Dyes first 18-hole golf course design. The course is located in the eastern outskirts of the city of Indianapolis, with Grassy Creek meandering through this shot-makers course. Maple Creek features small tees and greens, narrow fairways lined with mature trees and natural long grass areas. Multiple bunkers compliment the creek that winds its way through the front-nine, challenging players of all skill levels.
Good track that need some attention, food and party was great
I love Maple Creek. I have been a member for years. Its a great value, a great course, and a great membership. Everyone who works and plays at Maple Creek is down-to-earth and quickly becomes a great group of friends and family. You dont have to be a member to enjoy the restaurant, and Chef Todds pork chop is the best one I have ever had.
Great scenery and wonderful staff.
Plenty for the whole family! No need for my husband to feel guilty while he plays 18+ holes. The rest of my family can be found at the swimming pool in the summer. With the pool being open long daylight hours, adults can relax with poolside food and beverage service while children swim under supervision of lifeguard. No need to worry when summer ends. Lots of year-round social activities such as holiday parties and buffets, end of summer luau, Colts viewing events, wine and beer pairing dinners.Plenty of family friendly events including nighttime golf, harvest festival and breakfast with Santa! My favorite this year - ladies golf clinic! Ladies of all skill levels gathered after work for an instructional lesson, played a few holes then headed to clubhouse for appetizers and a glass of wine.Highly recommend your family visits Maple Creek Golf and Country Club.
Challenging course with an excellent driving range. Staff is top notch and the food is excellent!
So pretty, very quiet and serene. Nice place to gulf or relax.
Maple Creek Golf Course is fun, somewhat tight, tricky creek pretty much through the whole course fakes you out. In surprisingly good shape when you have to take into consideration Indiana’s tough 4 Season’s weather. Ill be back to play MCGC in the fall.
Staff was wonderful! Food was great!
I grew up in the Junior Golf program and my family has been members for a few years now. The course is one of my favorites in Indy and is nothing short of challenging and fun no matter how many times you play it. The clubhouse is recently renovated and the pool is great after a morning round. I hope to stay here for years to come.
IF I COULD RATE LOWER I WOULD. THESE PEOPLE ARE RACISTS WHO DONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BY THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE WITH THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE CUSTOMERS.
Great personal service, for Id always good.
Love the course, and the staff is too notch....
The clubhouse has been opened to non-members to eat at the restaurant. The restaurant has a musty smell that turned my stomach. My dinner partner said his food was great. We were at the restaurant this past summer.
Great staff, tough, but beautiful golf course, great food.
A challenge for all!! Fun to play on a course that rewards the good smart shot. Greens can be very tricky. Staff is very helpful and food is first class..best hamburger in the city. A hidden gem.
A great course by Pete Dye. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to new members. Very happy with my decision to join. Cant wait for this season!
Great place to go golf
Great course. Very Changing. Good food. Good for whole family. Cute downstairs pub. Very nice staff.
Great course and a great value. With a driving range, full-sized pool, and pavillion- Maple Creek offers all the luxuries of a Country Club to its members. A full bar, dining room, and banquet hall with great food is open to the public and is a hidden white linen experience overlooking a beautiful course on the citys east side.
Nice place with a pleasant staff. Attended a birthday party - very nice.
The atmosphere feels like an old-school country club. The golfing feels like an old private country club thats gone public in order to cover dwindling memberships. Its Pete Dye designed, but feels like (because it was) his first design. Tight, heavily wooded fairways on par 4s and 5s make it frustrating off the tees, while some unfair overgrowth, risk/punishment instead of risk/reward, and some dangerous crossover traffic.
Foods good, weve held our company picnic here for 3 years and always had a good time.
Tough but fair test of golf. Lots of mature trees guard greens & fairways. Greens are great speed roll true
Just joined and the place is great. EveryoneIs very nice and the food is the best
Fun golf course! Staff is friendly and the membership is welcoming. Great food!
The staff is so friendly and helpful! I always have a great experience here whether at the pool, golfing or dining.
Great golf course. Ive caddied there for two of their tournaments and not only was the staff nice, but the members were nice too.
I was totally shocked to find such a great course on the far eastside of Indianapolis. I found the course to be narrow and the rough was high. This course challenged me in every aspect of my game. The guys in the pro-shop were very knowledgeable. I didnt have to wait to get out on the course. I think this a hidden gem on the eastside.
First year member last year and needless to say Ill be coming back. Staff is eager to help in any way, great events and most of all a great, historic Dye track that keeps you on your toes.
Beautiful course. A Pete Dye treasure. And the staff is top notch.
Great location to get on the course.
Lovely place. Excellent for weddings and receptions.
The golf course is challenging yet fair for any golfer. Thanks for an enjoyable time...
