Great little venue for live music. Bar service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Theyve done a great job putting on the Hi-Fi Annex shows, while ensuring people wear their masks so we can enjoy music safely again.

I saw a show here on Saturday for my first time. We had seats reserved at two tables towards the back. The show was great and sounded great, especially the second half of the show when they had the levels dialed in perfectly. We started a tab with the nice waitress when she came around. We had to wait awhile to get those drinks, but having worked in bars and restaurants I didnt find it surprising, nor did it ruin our wonderful evening. Im going to check back often to see what shoes to see in the future.

Great place. Simple and to the point. Ticket prices are reasonable, good variety at the bar, as well as a great sound system. Alejandro Escovedo killed tonight. His shows are a must see. I look forward to attending more shows at this venue.

Very intimate place to catch a concert. Bands usually sound pretty good here as the sound system is nice. Its standing room only with some small tables scattered around if youre lucky enough to grab one. They do offer a VIP upgrade to guarantee yourself a table. They have multiple beer options and a full bar for those who chose the liquor route. We will visit again!

Great experience. The venue is really cool and great for shows of any kind. The Glass Cannon guys put on a great show and we had a great time. Excellent selection of local beers too.

Its an OK venue, with good selection of craft beer. Just not my style of venue. Staff is great. Sometimes the sound is a little off but nothing major to go home about. Overall good venue and happily go when I band I dig is preforming there.

Came down from NW Indiana to see The Aristocrats at HI-FI and loved the venue! People working there were terrific and the audience was unpretentious and in control.

One of the best local spots to catch live music in an intimate setting. The box office and door staff were professionals and the crew working the bar was on point. Ill be looking out for my favorite artists or music playing in the future.

Went to see Demiricous/Summon The Destroyer/Conqueror. Great show and nice venue, drinks overpriced. Nice club, great sound and stage. Was sold out show, 1st time there would return of had more metal shows.

Nice place to see a concert, and MUCH nicer since they remodeled. Good views all around. If youre older (and can afford it) I recommend reserving a table. Good selection of acts too. I check the lineup every couple of weeks to see whos coming.

Saw ‘We Are Scientists’ here and I loved the venue. Great drink menu and a good amount of non-VIP seating as well as a VIP balcony.

I love this venue! The staff is always helpful, the process of ordering VIP tickets is a breeze, and I just love how cozy and intimate it is. The sound is great for such a small place, and the bathrooms are decent, too! The cocktails are interesting and tasty, but pricey.

Best music venue in Indy! The space isnt that big, but that lends itself to much more intimate and energetic concerts. There are some awesome lesser known artists who come through here. Great local beer tap options a well.

Best sound in the city. If there is a show that you are looking forward to seeing, get tickets immediately as it is a small venue and sells out.

Favorite music venue in Indy, tucked in the super-hip strip of Fountain Square. The sound quality is consistently amazing, and they make every act sound their very best. They have smaller local artists as well as bigger names that come through too. The tap list is impressive and the options are always good.This place is an Indianapolis treasure!!

Saw the Such a Night recreation of The Last Waltz show last night. Great show with great sound. The venue itself is kind of minimalistic (very few tables) but Im sure thats by design so you can pack in more people. They do offer a wide variety of musical acts. Something for everyone.

Went to a small show here. The venue is nice and the beer selection is excellent!!

This place is great as far as the music venue goes. However alcohol is a different story. with 25-ish beers on tap on my last three trips they did not have a single actual dark beer. They had a brown, a red, approximately 10+ IPAs (if you call that beer), Several sours and then a couple of other light ails. As far as liquor goes if you’re in the bourbon you’ll be happy, but if you were in the anything else like Cognac’s, Brandies, or non-hipster decent liquors you are out of luck. If the band you want to see is there go, but if you’re going there to drink or socialize wait until they change the menu

Hi-Fi supports so many local artist and promotes so many great bands. You will never be disappointed with a band floating through Hi-Fi! Definitely an Indy go to.

Great place for smaller acts. Not many seats and tables can be reserved for a fee. Good beer selection. We saw Nick Lowe and with a bit of nudging you can get super close to the performers.

Came to Indy to see my favorite band. Totally awesome venue. I cant say a bad thing about it. Killer beer selection, of course awesome music, bathrooms were legit. The sound was amazing. Kudos to board guy. Not a bad seat in the house. Check it out.

Always a great show here. Plenty of drinks and local beers. Mostly standing room only with the exception of about 10 tables for 4 people to stand and place drinks. Spent an amazing evening last night at the newly remodeled Hi Fi seeing Nick Lowe. The people at Hi Fi are the best. I appreciated the help with my immobility!!!! Thank you all who work there for making it the fantastic venue it is.The sound was killer, and everything else was great. Loved it and cant wait to return......

My favorite small music venue in Indianapolis. A large rectangular room with a bar along the east wall that serves a wide variety of craft beer on tap. The capacity is listed at 195, so it allows rather intimate contact with the bands. Stage is on the south end, about three feet off the floor. Sound is really good, due to the small room. Loud enough to feel the music, yet lacks the harshness of a system that might have to push music to a larger room. Staff is friendly, and live music is their niche. And a warning, even if you look like an AARP member, you must show photo ID at the door. This is an over 21 establishment. Which is nice to keep the teens out and let the adult enjoy the music without the youthful idiocy. parking is ample on the street on Virginia, as well as behind the venue in a large parking lot. No coat check that I know of, but you can park close enough to leave it in the car and not freeze to death walking to the venue. They host some really good national bands. To get notified, like their Facebook page. Due to the venue size, some bands sell out very quickly.

I was pretty impressed with this place. They’ve got a TON of different local beers, not just Sunking and Fountain Square. Beer can be kind of expensive, but it’s local microbrews in fountain square, so that’s no surprise. They seem to have a variety of shows on their calendar. The sound was pretty good and the staff friendly. My suggestions would be these: different seats. It’s impossible to get partly comfortable on the current high stools. There’s a security guy that walks around with his flashlight on strobe, he’s gotta quit that. My companion nearly had a seizure (already has a seizure disorder) brought on by that light.

Amazing acoustics, nicely stocked bar, and just generally a good vibe! Only downside is the seating is pretty limited so you will need to arrive early if thats important to you.

Great location and drag show. Bartenders are nice but 3 stars because the service is extremely slow on a Friday night and there is no ATM inside but they only take cash for covers...It’s 2019. Get it together.

Really enjoyed this venue, one or my new favs! I went by myself to a show and had a blast. Its pretty intimate, once the crowd arrives, its kinda hard to move around. So get your drinks and use the bathroom before the headliner gets on stage! Think its probably a good idea to buy your tickets before the event, since it seems easy for them to sell out

As a musician and live music lover, I have been to a ton of live music venues...this is locally my favorite. The audio engineering staff knows their stuff and it is reflected in flawless sound every show that Ive seen here. The alcohol selection is vast and the craft beers on tap are of great selection.
