IFYHA Eagles youth and adult hockey. Spend time here learning to ice skate or battle for the puck in the hockey leagues. Enjoy great view of action and share in Eagle pride while snacking on items that can be purchased at The Hut. This sheet of ice hosts figure skate club and hockey during the winter months. Be sure to look at open skate times. This is one of many things here in Tautphaus Park.

Cute park! The playground is fun and there are lots of picnic tables in the shade. Playground is decently shaded.

The park was beautiful and had huge trees. Lots of great spots with shade and benches to have birthday parties and get-togethers. We took our kids to both jungle gyms; the newer play area was nice, except the music section had been vandalized and destroyed, which was a huge bummer. Otherwise, it was a nice quiet place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon.

This is a nice, shaded park with a big, beautiful playground with interactive games . There is a sheltered area with several picnic tables. The kids loved it.

This park has something for everyone. The skate park had kids of all ages including little ones and their parents there today. There are lots of playgrounds and wide open meadows of grass. Picnic tables are spread throughout. There are ball fields of all kinds. The Idaho Falls Zoo is also there. Its the perfect place to take a good book in a blanket. I just cant say enough good about this place!

Nice park beautiful and big! Only concern is its overcrowded! The population has overgrown this park and it needs more equipment. There are so many kids at this park that the equipment is completely packed .

Always a beautiful place to chill and get a some fresh air, especially when the sun is shining and theres a small breeze blowing I have the air! The thing I love the most about this park is because I can just sit in my car, pull out my markers, pencils, and gel pens and let my mind do its magic and create an amazing drawing of god knows what!

Lots of parking, clean green grass, no graffiti, and covered picnic tables. The playground equipment is clean and relatively maintained.

Wonderful park for kids to play. Partially shaded as well, which is nice. Bathrooms nearby were clean and stocked. Also there was a portapotty if you couldnt walk the distance with your little one. Had hand sanitizer as well. Overall a nice park to spend a few hours.

Very open and well maintained grounds, wish the speedbumps were less steep, as my car is low. Lots of shade trees and seating. This is a go to for outdoor family gatherings. They even have tennis courts and sand volleyball pits.

For a smaller zoo, it was full of interesting exhibits and animals! The workers were very friendly and informative. We learned several new things about the animals there. Fun day!

Lots of fun for all ages at this park. I do wish parwnts would adhire to the age groups a little better. Best for ages 5-12. Shouldnt have been worried but there were 15 (?) year old kids playing rough around the young ones

Its a great place to find people who generally care

They havent fixed some if the handicap access park so some of it is fenced off but otherwise the kids had fun and the shelter was fairly empty.

Its cute very good for photos and baseball games but it is also huge so you can sometimes get lost.

Ive only drove through this park previously. This time however our photographer chose this setting to take our family pictures. What a beautiful backdrop for our pictures with snow and the trees.It looks like people were snowshoeing through the park today also.Well have to come back in the summer and check it out more.

Huge park with a skate park, zoo, a few play grounds, and lots of shelters with tables. I walk my dog here almost every day, its beautiful with tons of trees.

Great place for kids outdoor birthday parties! Great playgrounds for kids to play for hours. Trust me! They wont wanna leave! The zoo and rides are nearby if you wanna turn it into an all day adventure. My family loves this park .. it is always clean and well groomed. The playgrounds are clean, the garbages have been cleared and the restrooms are clean!! Enjoy your visit.

I went for Cross country practice in the rain, and the drainage is pretty good. There were some pot holes that you cant really see in the roads though.

Best park in the area with lots of things for your kids to do. Nice playground areas for younger kids and the zoo is close by. Picnic areas and fields for family events are easy to find.

So much to do at this park! The zoo, multiple playgrounds, trails, fountain, volleyball nets, tennis courts, ice skate rink, etc. There is always something to do here year round.

Almost every time I go to Idaho Falls,,, which is where I went to high school,, we swing to tautphaus park... It is so much the same as it was 40 years ago.. But it has grown and improved and evolved over the years. there are many new facilities that werent there back in the day,,but there is still great open spaces and places for family to spend time together....its a fun little trip through the past for me every time.

This park is awesome! The play ground is so big and they have so many things for the kids to play with. They have musical instruments and swings and slides and monkey bars and dizzy spinners and an electronic game where you chase lights. There is also a covered pavilion with picnic tables.

The speed bumps are MASSIVE it literally broke my car

Its a great park for people of all ages. There is a skateboard park baseball fields and plenty of playground equipment for the children to play on. I love to go there for walks with my dog. I often take a picnic lunch, and relax under the beautiful big trees.

This park is one of the bigger parks in Idaho Falls. The play ground was one of the first to be overhauled with new equipment. There are a few other small playground sets in the area. There is sufficient space for picnics and places to hold birthday parties.Tautphaus also has the local Zoo in it and a mini fun land that hosts a few small rides, miniature golf, and an arcade. The park is also home to the Idaho Falls Ice Skating Rink and a fair share of Baseball, Softball, Tennis Courts, and Horse Shoe Pits.

The park setting is beautiful. The equipment appears to be a little old but most everything is in working order. I did notice one swing was missing. There is plenty for all age ranges to enjoy from toddler to tween.

Fantastic job. Love how the zoo is planned out seems like it goes on forever. The habitats are set up in a way that looks really nice. Every time Ive been here the animals are out and moving around. Great place for families and little kids can see into the habitats. They also offer a petting zoo.

This place is great especially for kids! Even big kids like me. There are musical toys to experience with your kids. But bring some mallets ( I just found some sticks, which wasnt as easy as you would expect at a park with big beautiful trees everywhere.) The place was well maintained except for the fact that the mallets that should have been tied down there are missing. Overall a great park!

The best park in East Idaho hands down. Softball baseball Zoo Ice Rink skating indoor and outdoor Tennis Frisbee Golf. Football field. Playgrounds. Huge cottonwood trees with tons of shade and a fountain!! What else could you need!! Oh yeah. FunLand amusement park. Concessions. Rides. Arcade.. Cross Country Skiing. All in one park!!!

Fun but busy... Check busy times on Google maps and pay attention. If it says busy, its busy. Great 5 star dry toy park though!

Granted I prefer really old school designs, but those are nowadays dangerous.POINTERS/PERKS -Most of the time this park is rather low-key, and there arent a lot of kids or people, maybe on the weekends, but during business hours it is pretty slow.EMPLOYEES - N/ANot really anyone monitoring the playground. As far as grounds crew goes, it is in pretty good shape.

Such a great home town zoo. They do a lot of conservation work and community development. The park itself is also fairly large. It has a skate park, carousel, small ferris wheel, and large open spaces.

Solid ice arena, but no Zamboni during a 3 hour public session is frustrating

Its a great place to take the family and spend an afternoon. Theres normally always a baseball or softball game going on, plenty of people at the skate park and theres even a basketball court. Theres a zoo and a little amusement park also, it is a good time.

I walk here nearly every work day on my lunch break. Yes, it has a zoo (you can see the camels from Rollandet!), playgrounds and a skate park.But I just like all the space for a shady walk. If you go toward the back of the park near the cemetery (again, toward Rollandet), theres a shady area with a tree-lined path that goes through a grassy area bordering a canal. Its fairly secluded and peaceful and is a great space to eat lunch, read, listen to podcasts, or reflect. On one end of this path is a roaring waterfall and a fountain. I enjoy the spray in the summer.
