Love this place. It has a place in my heart. From just relaxing with the family on a Sunday afternoon, to having a few beers with your buddys after work playing 18 holes of disk golf.. thus park us friendly to all. Come have a look around. Youll see.

This park is very beautiful, large, and we love that its right next to the river. The playground is awesome for kiddos. The pavilion and tables could use some cleaning and updating. Otherwise, its just beautiful! And we love how they have done outdoor symphonies there in the past.

Russell Freeman Park is the site of the annual Field of Honor on Memorial Day. It is the perfect location because of all of the amenities, and the proximity to the Vietnam War memorial. The Pipes & Drums of Teton & District Performing Arts have enjoyed many years participating in this great event. Pretty park, that borders the Snake River and also has a nice creek that has water in it on certain days. There are public restrooms in several locations, drinking fountains, a sand volleyball court, picnic tables, benches, etc. This is a very large park. This park is well suited to a host of different activities. Outdoor amphitheater, playground equipment, nice walking paths and roads, well suited to walking and bike riding. My personal favorite is the 18 hole disc golf course. With the creek, river, and trees there are a variety of features/obstacles that make this one of my favorite local disc golf courses.

Well manicured, and the disc golf course was great! The course was hard to follow, so you gotta download udisc from the play store or whatever apple store is called. Not a lot of people on the grass blocking the game, and there was a lot of tree cover which made it nice. Quite a bit of homeless people but they didnt say or do anything but sleep.

What a beautiful Park! We went down with our family to take some photos and it was absolutely stunning. The park sits right on the river so you have the backdrop of the river with lots of trees. Theres lots of cute bike and jogging paths that meander through the park. theres a cute little creek that kind of runs through the Middle with a bridge over it. Thats where we took our family pictures the background was beautiful. the park is pretty large so there werent a lot of people and it was pretty quiet. If youre looking for a great part for jogging or just relaxing or even fishing this would be a good place to go.

The Festival of Lights was fun for the little kids! Fun to sing along or try to quote the stories that go along with the lights. Hard to not feel rushed with cars behind. It totally ruins the use and scenery of the park for months. I used to enjoy the pristine view with trees in frost and untouched snow right in the heart of the city. Its an eyesore except the one night we go to see the lights.
