Great place to walk or run. One and a half mile trail is marked every quarter mile. I wish that it was just longer. You have to do two laps to get a decent workout.

Nice clean and wide walking path that provides plenty of shade. Along the path is the Fallen Warriors Memorial. But get here early there is limited parking available.

Great place to run! A shaded gravel path and a nice cement walkway leading to the fallen soldiers memorial! A nice children’s park is here too! Definitely recommend for a nice running/walking spot. Parking is under surveillance. Hours are dusk till dawn.

This is probably one of my favorite parks in the Houston area simply for all the shade. This is the only park I can take my kids during the day on a hot summer because theres so much shade from the tall trees.

Very peaceful and decent amount of shade. The play equipment needs some attention around the wood areas but my young kids enjoy it. A bonus would have to be the little free library that sits in a wooden housing as you walk in to the park. Its very thoughtful for anyone who enjoys reading. Thank you

A strip of green between Cutten Road and the railway. It encompasses the Fallen Warriors Memorial and a water works. It has a small playground and a picknick area, and a 1.5 mile very oval walking path. Not huge, and the narrow shape never lets you forget the traffic around. But it is close by and certainly a lot better than nothing.

Its a hidden treasure in the champion forest area. I love coming here for a run or a walk especially after a rainy day . The smell the trees expell are amazing and help sedate the mind. They also have a fallen soldier memorial and one for service dogs coming soon.

Love this place. Its so close to nature as it can get for a family park. Its wooden and shady. I dont have to worry about extreme dehydration when my family is here. This is Houston the weather can get really hot in the warm months. There is a very popular trail that locals know about. It is nice. We have walked it quite a few times before as a family. Its not congested and everyone is friendly. When we are on that side of town, we always stop here.

This is a beautiful park tucked into a beautiful area of town. Great trail with a nice play area. Even better, this park is connected to the Fallen Warriors Memorial. It is definately worth taking a walk down the trail to see the Memorial. Just down Cutten rd. there is an art gallery as well, honoring our fallen warriors. The paintings there can really tug on your heart strings and give some perspectice on the cost to be FREE.

Quiet trail alongside Cutten Road and The Fallen Warriors Memorial. The park has a small playground as well as book drop off box. Parking is good and it feels safe with constable usually close. Parking lot has cameras too so it feels like a really safe secluded park with running trail and the memorial.

This park is located between hargrave and louetta. This park is nice because the walking/running path is shaded by mature trees however by the time you get to the veterans memorial where the path is not shaded at all. The path is also manageable for wheelchairs and strollers. Park benches are located along the path if a quick rest is needed. There are no restrooms on site but the park does have a water fountain, picnic tables and a nice playground for the kids. You will also find a Free Library on site. Small parking lot with handicap parking.

Beautiful park with a great long trail to walk or jog on. The walking path passes the Fallen Warriors Memorial which is wonderful in its own sense. The park is narrow and long with a wooded picnic area and playground as well as a more open field like part of the path. Its a great use of otherwise wasted space between a road and power line easement. Always clean and well maintained.
