Great place to catch pokemon, I wish it was cleaner and had more trash bins. Please clean the river bank, it will make it 10x better, nice shaded area. Maybe have doggy poop bags too? Homeless people are here every now and then which is depressing. Overall its nice.

This park presents a beautiful juxtaposition with the scenic park surrounded by dense urban area on all sides including above. It was pleasant to walk though even when it was unnaturally cold outside. A great place to run and have fun. I would also recommend visiting the systern at the Buffalo bayou area.

The north side of the park has a great view of the skyline, and the south side has a nice field for activities. But, the bayou can be an eyesore at times.

This place is a beautiful place to go visit. This was our first trip there and we took all 3 dogs. It was nice to allow the dogs to stretch their legs. I had 2 problems with it. People... if you take a dog there.. pick up after your dog instead of letting others step in it. Seriously.. on the sidewalks??? That is rude.. Kids are walking on those sidewalks also The next problem I had is... the bicyclists.. the sidewalks are not big enough for two people to walk side by side and for a bicyclist to pass by. We were constantly turning around so we could get ourselves and the dogs off the sidewalk when they came by. Tons of them and they are flying through there and have no intentions on stopping. Ohh and you cant hear them coming up. Only one guy had a bell he rang to give us time to move. Actually he was one of the few who said thank you. I may or may not try this park again. Definitely not on a weekend.

Took a walk in the heavily wooded trails on the East side of the park. Warm yes but not hot yet. Enjoyable time for the two of us. These trails are used by bicycling folks so you have to look for them and not wear earphones. Trails wander, dodging the bayou and its tributaries. Try them sometime.Like

Super clean and relaxing park in the middle of not-as-clean neighborhoods. The bathrooms are clean. There are many plants and sounds of birds. Im so glad the community has kept the park clean so it continues to be a place everyone can enjoy.

Ive been here a few times, but the last time it looked pretty unkempt. The fountains were off and full of mud still, there were homeless people hanging around and the area stunk like feces. I wish the city would clean it up again.

The atmosphere is nice the keep the place very clean and its great for a simplistic hang out. Its a great place to take wedding and engagement photos. The parking is not free due to being downtown unless you park after 6p.m. or on Sunday. Also there are only 7 parking spots located immediately at the park. So be prepared to walk a block or 2. I only go there to play pokemon go

Only been here at the end of the Buffalo Bayou Regatta when it is crowded, full of food and beer vendors, and cheering crowds. For that it is great. The rest of the year I dont know what goes in here. You can walk around the small park and the bayou but there are better parks to explore.

A rather nice park along the bayou. Educational, located in the lovely theater district, and of course as everyones mentioned, its a great Pokémon Go destination. I wish it had restrooms though, my mother and I had to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe for those, and it definitely could use a couple more trash cans. Otherwise, great spot!
