Nice little park
Great trail/park, more parking would be great seems to get ALOT of people
Great peaceful park to go walk around if youre by yourself or with family. I came here for the first time today and I really liked it.
Absolutely love this place! Such a peaceful and chilled place to be. The park is very well looked after. Great for chilling, people watching or having a little walk.
This park presents a beautiful juxtaposition with the scenic park surrounded by dense urban area on all sides including above. It was pleasant to walk though even when it was unnaturally cold outside. A great place to run and have fun. I would also recommend visiting the systern at the Buffalo bayou area.
The north side of the park has a great view of the skyline, and the south side has a nice field for activities. But, the bayou can be an eyesore at times.
Love bike riding here!! More than 10 miles of bike trails. Great views! And alot of nature to see
A great place to chill and just walk around. a great place for a family to chill in
Such a calm and relaxing environment. The maintenance is very well kept up. Good for walking, running, cycling, people watching, and observing our little friends of nature. Absolutely love this place!
Just a good place to child. No amenities or play ground area. Located allong buffalo bayou trail. Easy access from the street as well.
This place is a beautiful place to go visit. This was our first trip there and we took all 3 dogs. It was nice to allow the dogs to stretch their legs. I had 2 problems with it. People... if you take a dog there.. pick up after your dog instead of letting others step in it. Seriously.. on the sidewalks??? That is rude.. Kids are walking on those sidewalks also The next problem I had is... the bicyclists.. the sidewalks are not big enough for two people to walk side by side and for a bicyclist to pass by. We were constantly turning around so we could get ourselves and the dogs off the sidewalk when they came by. Tons of them and they are flying through there and have no intentions on stopping. Ohh and you cant hear them coming up. Only one guy had a bell he rang to give us time to move. Actually he was one of the few who said thank you. I may or may not try this park again. Definitely not on a weekend.
A park at the heat of the downtown amazing ai! the place is pretty cool to have some picnics or jogging anything you have in mind actually. plus factor is its clean
Took a walk in the heavily wooded trails on the East side of the park. Warm yes but not hot yet. Enjoyable time for the two of us. These trails are used by bicycling folks so you have to look for them and not wear earphones. Trails wander, dodging the bayou and its tributaries. Try them sometime.Like
Great place to take a stroll, jogg, workout and or ride your bike
Super clean and relaxing park in the middle of not-as-clean neighborhoods. The bathrooms are clean. There are many plants and sounds of birds. Im so glad the community has kept the park clean so it continues to be a place everyone can enjoy.
Ive been here a few times, but the last time it looked pretty unkempt. The fountains were off and full of mud still, there were homeless people hanging around and the area stunk like feces. I wish the city would clean it up again.
Luv it ...just peaceful and relaxing in the heart of Downtown
Have not hung around here but been liked it when i went by
Its nice and calm good place to go and read a book on free time or with family and friends.
Pretty, peaceful place to take an antsy pooch on an overcast day! Well designed with many stairs & footpaths to navigate & wildlife to view, though it’s right downtown! Definitely recommend it!
Nice place to ride your bike and run..
We visited this park last weekend on our vacation to Houston and Galveston. It is very beautiful. They keep it very clean and the scenery is nice. I recommend it.
Aka. Musicians Cove One of the most peaceful plaves in Houston
Meditation park to enjoy nature.
The best park in Houston to me
Beautiful place to be with your family and friends
Beautiful park. Very large. Central.
Houston is full of great parks and this one is no exception. very clean and you can see different birds.
Nice public space. A bit dirty cus of all the bird poop.
The atmosphere is nice the keep the place very clean and its great for a simplistic hang out. Its a great place to take wedding and engagement photos. The parking is not free due to being downtown unless you park after 6p.m. or on Sunday. Also there are only 7 parking spots located immediately at the park. So be prepared to walk a block or 2. I only go there to play pokemon go
This park has a variety of areas. Open grass area, water fall, great walking path along the bayou.
Only been here at the end of the Buffalo Bayou Regatta when it is crowded, full of food and beer vendors, and cheering crowds. For that it is great. The rest of the year I dont know what goes in here. You can walk around the small park and the bayou but there are better parks to explore.
Im out here after midnight just exploring. Its fun and exciting. I saw two ducks having sex. I actually walked up and interrupted their vibes. They were engaged in sex. The things you can witness.
This park is cool. Nothing in the way for kids but good for working out and Pokémon hunting. Right next to the aquarium and rides and such. And great access through trails for everything in the area.
Nice park 2 hang out at..
Amazing place for photography
Nice walk.
Very nice park very beautiful Park
Nice scenery..
A rather nice park along the bayou. Educational, located in the lovely theater district, and of course as everyones mentioned, its a great Pokémon Go destination. I wish it had restrooms though, my mother and I had to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe for those, and it definitely could use a couple more trash cans. Otherwise, great spot!
Quite park with good open space to work out in or just hang out watching the ducks in the bayou. Right off the hike and bike trail going from downtown to Buffalo Bayou Park.
Beautiful park around the museums and The aquarium. Great for playing Pokemon Go and using the trail along the bayou
Its awesome for walks. Pokémon gym battles. Its has walk ways next to the water. History around some of the walk ways. Police are always passing by.
Never had any problems been there for 6 years
Lovely park! I wish there was easier parking to get to it. The area around it can be a bit sketchy late at night as well.
I read quite a bit about the Baker men, but nothing about the Houston history the Sesquicentennial park name would infer.
Feeding the Duckies was a pleasurable experience.
The winding paths and series of terraced waterfalls gazing down upon the bayou make this one of downtown Houstons hidden gems
A really pretty city park. I go fishing from the amphitheater all the time and catch all sorts of stuff!
This is a nice clean park that is well lit at night, There is a Pokemon gym and a few pokestops. The paved path is great for walking, running, or cycling.
This is a quaint little park with many amenities for all ages.
It was nice.
Nice park to escape the downtown hustle.
A nice little open space along Buffalo Bayou
This park is awesome and great place for Pokemon lovers ! Great and quiet environment, could use a restroom though..
One of Houstons many fantastic parks located on Buffalo Bayou. Walk up the spiralled path and read some of Houstons history as you go.
Not a tranquil park
Beautiful hidden gem! The Big Bubble or the Bayou Burp is near here.
Have nice quiet moment watching ducks here
Calling all pokemon go players and lovers. Beautiful scenery great walking path friendly people close to the Aquarium
Great location for photography and bike riding.
Great views day or night. Big pokemon hotspot.
Tranquil park right near downtown Houston.
Great way to be outside, and learn a bit of Texas and Houstons history
Good park to walk around..
Small but nice
Amazing little park nestled in downtown Houston.
IT IS REALLY NICE, I LOVED IT
I love Cumming here and I mean that

It is mostly cleaned up from hurricane Harveys deluge, but the water fountain and pool is still being repaired.
Nice trails.

Not much to see. Birthplace of Houston
Peaceful, shaded and central downtown
Pretty, peaceful, lots of Pokémon
Great to walk around
Pokemon go.... That is all
Lots of rare pokemon spawns.
Been going there since I was a kid, lots of memories.
Great piece of the city
