Beautiful as always, the waterwall provides a nice eye catching experience for everyone. With a breathtaking water structure that the closer you get to it the wetter it makes you. From the nice walkway around the park, to the picnic perfect grass laid out in front of it, the water wall is a unique structure and I enjoy being there every time I get a chance.
Very pretty monument. Parking was pretty easy to find. Pedestrian friendly once you’re there. Do he prepared to get a bit wet as the water from the monument can turn into mist. It feels like you’re standing in front of a real waterfall
Lovely and serene refuge. It’s hard to think of a more tranquil spot in town...I love that I can just come and hear the water, no admission fees or crazy hoops to jump through. As a fan of Philip Johnson, the architect from both the Waterwall and Willams Tower (plus BofA, Pennzoil Place, etc) this is a treat for sure!
I did a little research before visiting and the waterfall was on my list of must do first. Its close to the Galleria mall. It didnt disappoint at all, I went early Saturday morning to beat the crowds. Nice park area with really pretty trees are on the side walks upon entering. This is definitely worth spending some time here. I saw quite a few people eating or having picnics in the front lawn area. Great place to take some pics, everyone was being respectful not photo bomb others. I walked around the outside and inside, you will get a little wet. It cool due to the weather in Houston was hot and dry for a September.I would actually visit again to relax or meet up with friends. They do have parking lots close in proximity.
This is beautiful to look at...maybe pack a basket and go on a picnic and you could enjoy for hours! Beautiful place for photo shoots and plenty of space for kids to run and enjoy freely!
This is definitely a worthwhile place to go visit atleast once with family and friends. I feel like this is one of those places you go and take pictures and always look back and say that it was such a beautiful place. But not only is it a nice backdrop for amazing pictures, but its also a huge park. Nothing fancy about the park, but its a place where you can bring family and have a pleasant picnic and look at the waterfall. The park is big enough to play a game of football or soccer and not get in anyones way. The only negative thing I could say about this place is that you most likely have to drive into a parking garage and pay for parking. We paid approximately $5 for about 3 hours. But that doesnt take away from the 5 stars Im giving this place.
Its beautiful! went on a rainy day so I didnt stay long but its definitely a relaxing thing to watch and listen to
When youre at the park, just watch the water fall and walk towards it, I bet youll feel tripped out at least a little bit! But yeah, the location is just really nice and having the Williams tower right next to the water fall is really cool! A walk along post oak boulevard in the evening is recommended too!
Spectacular. Nice park to walk or sit or throw a frisbee. The walk-around Waterfall is powerful. Enjoy a break or relaxing morning.
Probably one of the better sculptures that we have in the HTX!If you stand in the center of the water wall and just stare at the water running down the wall, youll feel like youre moving up even though youre standing still.Way back when I used to come here at least every other week but I just came back for a wedding after years of not coming here. There used to to be street parking but now you can either pay for parking at the nearby garage, or park at the Nordstrom parking garage and take a short trek to the park.If youve never been here, check it out at least once
This place totally deserved a signature place to go if you ever been in Houston. Water, art, green and perfect structure design.
If youre planning a visit to Waterwall Park make sure you prepare ahead of time.Visitor parking is located on the Williams Tower. The building is a 64-story connected to a 10 level, 3,208 car parking garage by a sky bridge. The bridge also connects the building to Galleria mall where you will find the closest public restroom. One needs to be cautious about parking !A few days back, a lady with disability was left with a ticket on her car for parking at the entrance of the residential complex across the street.
This park has an unusual amount of rules, but if simply taking a stroll is on the agenda then this park is a great choice. The Waterwall smells like a pool and sounds like a waterfall. I’ve been here a few times before but I’m still happily impressed by the 64-foot semi-circular architectural fountain that re-circulates 11,000 gallons of water per minute as it cascades down the water wall structure’s inner and outer walls. This place is definitely worthy of a photo, if not two.Adjacent to the Waterwall is a 2.77 acre park. The park has a broad pedestrian sidewalk that wraps around the Waterwall and the connecting green space that looks to be about as long and as wide as a football field. The sidewalk is partially canopied by 186 live oak trees. As a warning, the sidewalk is wet and slippery near the Waterwall, so be careful. This park is a wonderful example of how land can be effectively designed for mixed use purposes.A heads-up, the nearby Williams Tower, which is a 64-story skyscraper, can create some strong and unpleasant downdrafts especially on windy days.So be careful the closer you get to the building. That’s probably one of the reasons why flying kites is not allowed, now that I think of it.Regardless of the unpleasant gusty microclimates created by the downward air pressure, this is, in my opinion, still one of the best parks in town to take a stroll with a partner or simply relax under the trees on one of the park benches. As an aside. I don’t know the schedule, but sometimes I’ve driven by and the Waterwall wasn’t running. So keep that in mind if you really want to see the Waterwall in action. It may be off when you visit. Bummer.Visitors, locals, strollers, reading, and leashed dogs welcomed. Pet owners, there are two pet waste stations for your convenience.Buffoonery prohibited.Have fun and enjoy Final tip. For those not familiar with the area. Park at The Galleria, and walk a block to get to the Waterwall. Simple.
With a breathtaking water structure that the closer you get to it the wetter it makes you, my kids can run around and lot of people.....
I love that I can just come and hear the water, no admission fees or crazy hoops to jump through.
Wow! Was a nice an pleasant experience for my family and I. We enjoyed every moment. Thx Houston TX ur da Best
Nice little stop for Some pictures and a little stroll in the lawn. You can park in the road beside on weekends. If that doesnt work, park in the Galleria red park, it was free as of this review.
Wall of water is relaxing and a great place for picnics and family fun. Open space for playing soccer and or football. The water keeps you cool in the hot days as well. Its beautiful day or night time.
The park is nice and the water wall is so beautiful and very peaceful. Great place to get away in the middle of the city. A must see if you’re in the area.
This was one our sitesighting stops a few weeks ago while we was visiting the Houston area. It was easy to find with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. There is a parking garage within walking distance, if would like to enjoy a picnic in the grassy area. We decided to just make a brief stop, and I was able to find some nearby street parking. This an excellent find especially while we are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic precautions...because its outdoors and not alot people was visiting in on that weekend.
An amazing place to paint! My daughter loved it here.
Perfect place to relax with your family. Also use to take photos for weddings and quinceañeras. Lovely.
The park is beautiful and waterfall impressive. Great place to relax. The one problem is that theres no place to park. The parking garage is very expensive. Itll cost you $10 minimum to relax a few at this location.
This is not only historic, but very picturesque and romantic in the same breath. The sheer tranquility it offers is great for meditation and reflecting.
Atmospheric and beautiful! Good spot to have a picnic with your significant others or play catch with your family. Additionally the waterwall is a popular spot for photography when it comes to weddings, engagements, etc. Indeed one of my favorite parks in Houston.
The waterwall is a 64 feet high fountain in 3 acre setting spilling 11,000 gllons of water per minute! It is adjacent to Williams tower. It is a tourist attraction in Houston. A song called Dilbar dilbar from a Bollywood movie Sirf Tum was shot here. It’s a must visit place. Great for wedding or graduation photos!!! It’s free for everyone. Parking is available nearby and it is paid parking.
Perfect place night or day for a great walk around or a pic nic. Followed by shopping since your right near the mall. Not a bad place to pop the question at id say.
Beautifull and you can take nice pictures.
I love this Waterwall. Good place to take pictures.
Awesome pictures cant describe it. Go and see it!!
This place is awesome! Bigger than anticipated. Definitely worth stopping by to see.
Water wasnt on, but it was clean and a great location for a park. A nice retreat in a business park.
They have a great variety of art and a gift shop and also a place to get snacks!
Beautiful park, awesome fountain. A must-visit place when youre at Houston, to take pictures with the waterfall and walk through the park.
Houston Galleria is Coming-Back...Slowly but Surely!!A lot of Food Court-Places went Out of Business...but Roots are Deep & Galleria will Rebiund
This dirty waterfall is turned off. Cuz texas ya know
Very chill place. Great place for pictures.
Decent man made place to visit in busy downtown with not so drama and hype. Sometimes you might get lucky that you could just park right next to it and have a quick visit otherwise park at Galleria Yellow Garage (Free) or even closer with paid parking.
I love taking blanket here and laying down with a good book. The wall is beautiful and makes the area cool.
Great place to take graduation pics!! Or just to hang out! Been coming here since I was a kid!!!
Absolutelly avesome place for my rest and relaxation...
I is tranquil peaceful visit at night its beautiful
Great place to take pictures, have a good time, walk and relax.
Very Beautiful Park just by the Uptown Galleria this is a good idea to with family and Kids they will have lots of fun and this park is free for everyone
Its beautiful. Must see. There was wedding photos taking place when we were there. Its a must see when you come to Houston!
This place is wonderful to visit any time of year or day. Its a stunning place to get photographs and extremely tranquil.
Beautiful and serene also great for relaxing and runnin round with ur kids
I have photos and videos of this place. Its so relaxing listening to the water. Clean and not to busy.
Jogging by, its a good way to get a quick breeze. Not to mention its also mesmerizing .
Love this location had a awesome time with my love great location great vibes great place to take family pics and have a picnic lots of space for kids to run around very cool place very refreshing on a very hot day get a drink and be here limited parking space very limited and MUST KNOW HOW RO PARALLEL PARK MUST KNOW I drive a chevy Silverado and I had to squeeze in but I was able to park and chill....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LOCATION!!!!!
So pretty. You have to wait forever for everyone to get out the way to get a good picture
It cool place for Summer, but no parking around the park, need make the light signal 15 minutes parking lot for them enjoy the waterwall.Thank you...
Really calming and peaceful. Minus the kids running around yelling.
A great mini retreat for whatever you got going on for the day. Bring your friends and fam for a picnic or the easy spray. Nice summer reprieve!
Great experience but where are you supposed to park?
Iconic place in Houston. Nice place to spend some time and relax (if the weather is not too hot). You can take some pictures and just hang out around. You can find free parking in the red garage at The Galleria, it is really close to the park.
Awesome place to visit. It recycles 11,000galwater/sec. Amazing job on the project whoever worked on the project. Park itself is very big considering it’s in downtown Houston. Plenty of space to bring your pets. I think this water park one of the unique places to visit when you are in Houston. Lot of people are doing photo shoots for graduations or sweet sixteen. Many people were visiting with their families. There were enough benches to sit on. You can also sit on grass. Both sides of the water wall has water flowing but inside was the most spectacular!! Be careful with all the construction going on in that area. Most likely you will have to park in paid parking garage near water park but it wasn’t very expensive.
Beautiful place. It has a nice lawn to sit outside with the water wall view.
The structure was impressive and definitely worth seeing as a tourist attraction, but at the end of the day it’s just a big fountain, and the “park” itself isn’t really a park. It’s a long grassy space with the fountain at one end and a tall building on the other. It would probably work for hanging out or reading. But if you are looking for an actual park outing with some walking or play areas, this isn’t the best place to go. I also ended up paying for a parking garage because I wasn’t sure where to park the car.
Great place to take pictures and video! Theres a huge area to have a picnic or chill out. Very close to the Galleria mall.
Fantastic place. Able to social distance outside with plenty of space
After fighting a ton traffic, paying for parking, walking all the way down to the water wall just to discover it wasnt even working. Really annoying. We did walk around, enjoyed the beautiful weather and discovered a cool mural in the parking garage.
Beautiful. We had trouble finding somewhere to park, but other than that its a cool place to visit.
This is a beautiful sight in the midst of Houston and all its ugly traffic. We had a little time to spare and stopped to check out the water wall. The trees were beautiful, the sound of the water was relaxing and the mist was refreshing. The water wall is a 360 degree attraction. There are lots of photography opportunities.
It was really awesome me and my son visited he experienced first time wasnt agree to come
Beautiful pictiure moments and so relaxing
Relaxing and and exhilarating at the same time. Powerful being that close to do much water falling.
Very beautiful place to spend some relaxing time.
Beautiful place to take pictures. Not great parking area.
It is a good place to chill on a fine evening. Visit once .. Probably not a place that u want to keep coming back to in my opinion
So beautiful to take graduation pictures, wedding, prom, etc. Parking, you cant park here but people do but you have to hurry up or your vehicle will be towed.
This place is awesome for pictures and family get togethers. Its a 10 minute max walk from the Galleria. Theres an area where kids can run up and down on the lawn. Theres a section of trees that would be great for picture taking. The wall. The wall is a great place to sit and watch all the water to come down but it also comes down on both sides. Amazing gem of Houston
Nice place to go to have some time out. Green grass, lots of trees, birds, squirrels. Very peaceful and great place to tak lunch and sit quietly and eat.
Very beautiful, I dont think I had ever seen something like this. Great views and everyone of course was taking photos. I took some my self and I was very happy to see this up close. I guess parking is a little tricky to find.
Fantastic place You have to visit it
Cool place. This is the place you want to get splashing in a hot sunny day. You have to pay at nearby garage for parking though. Lots of people were picnicking here. An urban oasis in Houston.
Beautiful and refreshing. The water mist is a God send on a hot day.
I really loved it! Its an amazing place to visit, so beautiful and calm, gives you a great inner peace and the effect of a real waterfall its awesome. A good place to go alone, with friends, family, pets... Just a great place to be in, if youre in Houston and love nature definitely a must go!
I love to go for a walk or family picnic the scenery is beautiful
We really enjoyed the water wall. Its amazing.
So cool.
The water of the waterfall was not flowing when I visited.I dont know why...
Great place to spend with your family.
Great place to spend with your family.
This place is so peaceful and quiet. Perfect for pictures of special events. There is no parking on the perimeter. There is a visitor parking garage across the street, and visitors have to pay. They do enforce towing, if you park illegally.
A nice quick stop.
Pretty cool waterfall and nice view of the nearby tower. Not a lot to see though.
Must go place to go with family spend time feel the voice of water it was very soothing
Nice clean...
This was just amazing. Just a peaceful place for a stroll
Been coming here since I was a teenager. So nice to see how pretty it is again
Love it, nice place to visit
