We went to the Alice in Puzzleland Escape room. My kids had a great time and I enjoyed working through the puzzles with them. We even finished right at the hour. My daughter loved the voice of Nathan, our guide for the event. We rang a bell once in awhile and he gave us hints in the voice of the Cheshire cat.

Escape Hunt Houston was a great experience. I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for a 13th birthday parting outing. The staff at Escape Hunt Houston were great! The escape room was detailed beyond what I had imagined. The lobby and restrooms were spotless as well. Definatly will be going back!

The Alice in Puzzleland was very well put together. Barely made it out with only 2 players and 1 hint. The puzzle master was excellent! Never had a puzzle master get into a character role that went with the storyline of the escape room.

The rooms are very well set up with the theme of the escape and the customer service is excellent. I was able to work with one of their team members, Tobi, and she was really responsive for all my questions for our booking. Definitely recommend everyone to try the venue!

The escape room itself was fun and challenging, but two parts of the room were not operating correctly, and we ran out of time because of this. Id like to give this place a better review, but they need to make sure that all of the equipment is working properly before someone pays to solve the puzzle.

My office team did the Apollo 13 room as a team building exercise. It was a huge success, even though my team did fail to save our astronauts. The Escape Hunt personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was exceptionally made and so much fun. This is a place I will bring my team, and even my family, for team building fun in the future.

There was a group of 8-9 of us that came in on September 27th. We did the NASA space mission escape room. The facilities were phenomenal and the staff was informative and helpful.However, when we went into the escape room, there were controls that were not working and keys that were numbered incorrectly. For example, the electric box that was labeled A3 needed the A7 key to unlock it. Furthermore, the key pad to the hatch door access was defective in that none of its lights were working. This was unlike any of the other keypads in the escape room and led to a lot of confusion for the team.Overall, the set up of the escape room, facilities, and staff were great but there were problems with the escape room itself and that is why my review is not a 4-5 star.Edit: The manager of the escape room reached out to me personally and explained the situation. She was very accommodating and said that they were serious about having fun. She invited us to come back to the escape room when we were ready. We have yet to go but are really impressed with the hospitality and kindness and quality of this place and it’s employees.2nd time around: We returned to the Escape Hunt Houston and I will have to say that they really are my favorite place for escape rooms. Their puzzles are challenging and enjoyable. This time, we did the mystery in the mansion room and I enjoyed the story line as well as the creativity! Our group had a really good time escaping the room and the manager texted me after we finished to make sure we had a good time.Thank you so much!

Did the Theft of the Lonestar and half of the experience was ruined because they forgot to reset a major section of the room. Our Game master was watching us through the screen and our group questioned if they had forgotten to lock a specific door but she did not say anything. So our group had extra clues that was not needed since it was made for that room and we wasted lots of time because of it.Would not return.

Had a great experience at this Escape Room. It was located in Midtown so it was easy walking over after a dinner in the area. The lady who greeted us was very nice and helped us immensely. In addition we were a party of 3 and were still able to get our own room and complete it!!! You definitely had to use your noggin for this even though it was the simplest level but it was a lot of fun. I cannot wait to go back and try a different room.

We went for a corporate team building event. There were 8 of us, so they split us up into 2 different rooms. While I wish we could have stayed together, it was still a blast! The Texas Lone Star room was so much fun and it really involved team work to get it done. We used 3 hints and finished about 5 minutes before the timer was up! I would go back!

This was our first escape room experience and we loved it! It was nice to be able to have the room to ourselves (our group size was four people). We did the Lone Star room. We were started off with instructions and the clues given during the game were just right to keep us going when we got stuck. Would definitely recommend!

We hosted my sisters 31st birthday here this evening and all I can say is WOW! This is hands down the best escape room in town. The rooms are fabulous and just the perfect amount of “toughness” — the Houston we Have a Problem room is beautiful, as are the others. We had roughly 45 people tonight so we rented the space. Jim and Jan allowed us to cater food, bring in drinks and took care of us perfectly!All our guests had a wonderful time - we will absolutely be back!

Makes for a wonderful evening out with family and friends. Staff was very friendly and explained everything. Already planning another trip up to complete another room. First place Ive found in years that would be considered clean, wholesome family fun. Nobody cursing or yelling. Theyre rules are enforced therefore EVERYBODY has a great time.

This was a great exercise for a team. It worked so well playing to the strengths of each of the 6 of us. We all exhibited different skill sets and yet worked together to deliver a result with a few seconds left! By working effectively together we not only had FUN; but we were crime solvers!

I manage the internship program for my organization and for a farewell event we went to Escape Houston. I had a group of 35 people, they were able to host us very comfortably.They split us up into four rooms, one room was for a group who has done an escape room before. The owner and his wife were great host, exceptional customer service and exceeded my expectations for my event.It really shows that they love what they do and want to make sure you have a great time. There facility has multiple rooms and is large to host any size group.I highly recommend this to anyone, regardless of the size of your group!

We came here for a friends birthday and we had a blast. The staff is super friendly. The challenges in the room we fun, intriguing, and challenging. The room itself was very nicely done. This has probably been my favorite room in Houston so far. I would highly recommend. (We got out with 5 minutes remaining in case you were curious)

We had a lot of fun doing this! We received this as gifts for Christmas 2018. If you havent ever done of of these before, I would try to Texas Star first. It is the easiest of the 3 with a 50/50 chance of escape. The Murder in Marylebone is more difficult and was told 25% chance of escape. We almost made it out. We did the harder one first not knowing. I think if we had done the easier one first and the more difficult one second, we would have escaped. They are both fun! The rooms are well done, the puzzles defiantly make you use your brain and the hints are helpful without giving it away!

I took 5 kids ages 11-14 as a birthday present for the youngest. All of the kids loved it! It was such a challenge but they “escaped” with 3 minutes to spare. They were proud that they were successful while another group made of adults was not able to complete the tasks in the hour. All of them want to try one of the other experiences.

Our group had a fun time, especially the astronauts! The game was super challenging, and we quickly discovered who the competitive people were in our group! We did not escape, but i would suggest this game.

A great place to team build! Not to be confused with the Houston Escape Room downtown, this location boasts two different puzzle rooms to solve in under an hour. We had a great experience in the more difficult scenario, but if youre not a super sleuth the easier room has its own share of challenges that will keep you on your toes. Definitely would recommend for corporate events or a differ group night out!

I volunteer with a nonprofit here in town and reached out to The Escape Hunt Experience to plan an outing for some of our teens. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating. Not only did they provide us with a group discount (which made it possible for us to go) but they were also very patient as we had to change the date and time. I cannot say enough good things about their friendly and attentive staff. It was a perfect experience for teens who are usually glued to their cell phones. They worked together and had a wonderful time. Upon leaving the Escape Room, all the teens were asking me, Whens the next time we will be back? Pretty impressive. We hope to come back soon. I highly recommend this place for a small or large group-- they will work with you to give you an exceptional experience!

Just OK. We’ve done about 30 escape rooms and enjoy the puzzles and illusion of the story. We did the NASA themed room. One keypad didn’t work and a simple numbered padlock was lazily put on instead, leaving the keypad as a distracting red herring. Furthermore, the game master just comes into the room giving hints, ruining the ambience. Lastly, it is overpriced. 40$ a person is steep for this quality of a room. Try strange bird escape room or the escape game.

A large group of us from work went to Escape Hunt as a team building event. The staff was so friendly and courteous. It was a great time! I loved that there was plenty of space for us to have food catered in, so that we could enjoy lunch afterwards. I would definitely go again!

First time doing an escape room. We did the Alice in Puzzleland room and it was amazing. It looks small when you first go in, but its surprising big once you start solving it.

Well put together, very fun time. Professional and courteous staff! An excellent explanation of what we missed. I wish we lived in Houston, I would go here a lot! We will be back!

Lots of fun and well orchestrated! Did the NASA Mission Control puzzle which tested problem solving skills, teamwork, and communication in a challenging but fun and engaging manner for all involved. No issues during gameplay and hosts were very welcoming ensuring our team had a great experience. Highly recommended!

We did the NASA mission. The rooms were so realistic and we were told this is one of the hardest challenges to complete. I went in with 9 of the smartest people I know and we were honestly just a minute or two shy of completing it. If you love team work, NASA, space and thinking challenges, this is the experience for you! Well worth the money! It was a fun time!

Interesting rooms and great staff!

We went to this for work for a team building experience and it was perfect. We did two separate rooms- lone Star mystery and the Apollo mission. Each was challenging and none of our groups finished, but it was a lot of fun. Only about 50% finish the lone Star one and only 10% finish the Apollo mission. There are a lot of different puzzles and a good mix of really subtle and really obvious clues. We needed to use our hints in both rooms. This was great for a work event and Ill be going back with family and friends. Highly recommend!

The price point is on par with the production value, but the puzzles could be better designed. Weve done all 3 rooms, with the least enjoyable being the Texas Lone Star room. This place has so much potential, but for the use of decoys and repetitive & time-consuming search-for-clues-on-walls puzzles that ultimately lowered the overall quality of the room for our group. The Apollo room was fun but only if youre in the spaceship, since the rest of the team was primarily doing brainteasers. Again, Im giving 4 stars because of the production value, but I think the company should re-evaluate and upgrade some of the puzzles.

They helped me put on an event for my community college students. They were very accommodating, and the customer service was A+. I would definitely recommend going here with group to solve a room or two. It was also very challenging, and I have to admit that we were unable to escape the room, but it was a very awesome experience. We all had a great time. You wont be sorry.

My friend and I had so much fun doing the first room that we immediately signed up for a second one. The puzzles are fun, the rooms are immersive, and the hosts are excellent. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience, we did the Apollo 13 room, and it was so realistic, a few on the team are astronauts, and they go into a life like rocket control room. The rest are in the control centre at Houston. The puzzles are fantastic a mixture of types of puzzles including maths and more practical ones. Would definitely recommend! The team that set you up are super friendly and informative, an amazing couple of hours entertainment!

My husband and I came here not knowing what to expect. I planned the evening there for his birthday, it was just the two of us however that still did not stop the attentiveness and excitement from the staff and owners!! Jim and Jan are absolutely amazing, so kind, and incredible people! Clearly they put their whole heart into this establishment and my husband and I had so much fun! Harlow was our guide that night and she was also such an in character and wonderful person to help us. We couldnt have had any more fun anywhere else and we will be coming back with more friends and family to spread the fun! The difficulty of the Escape Hunt game we did was tough, but we got through it!! 5 stars all around!

Weve been to escape rooms all over the country and the Apollo 13 mission at The Escape Hunt Experience - Houston is the highest quality room we have seen. The price is a bit higher than typical for escape rooms, but it is very well justified for the quality. Very challenging room with great atmosphere. Puzzles were physical in nature and required interaction will well-designed props - not just some piece of paper that had a riddle to solve. I would recommend 2-3 astronauts and 3-4 ground crew, with 6-7 players as an ideal group size for this room (which could otherwise easily host 9-12). Owners are great as well, and were very flexible with our undersized group for the room.My only regret is that I cant play the room again, having already escaped it! Ill just have to try another...

This was my first Escape Room experience, but the clever riddles and physical puzzles were a fun challenge. The secret passages and clever mechanisms made for a really exciting game. Our Game Master Miqueas was very personable as he explained the solution (we didnt make it out).I will definitely be doing more escape rooms in the future. Far better entertainment value than a movie and popcorn!Jim and Jan were lovely hosts and graciously showed us a short tour of their NASA/Apollo escape room. Well be back for that one another day!

We had a fun time at the Escape Hunt. There were three in our party and we did the Marylebone mystery. I think more than three would have been too crowded in that room. We got really close to solving the two-part puzzle (we solved one part), but didnt quite make it in time. It was my first escape room experience and I would do it again. Fun decor in the foyer.

Well designed rooms that provoke your thoughts and ability to solve problems. After doing well over 100 escape rooms across the country, this place should be on your radar.

I have been to many escape rooms but this is the first time I write a review for it because this escape room is the best I have ever been to so far. The game was well designed and the game master was watching us carefully all the time and gave appropriate hints. One of my friend was a bit late for the game, but the game mater was so nice that he allowed us to wait and start the game late. My friends and I had a very good time and we cant wait to play the other rooms.

We went for my husbands birthday. Had a great time! My husband and I are completely different on how we work out problem. It was a good balance on how they handle giving you tips and letting you figure things out. We were also able to talk with the owner at length and they were very sweet. We highly recommend this place!

I went to the escape hunt last night with a group of friends and we had an amazing experience! The owners are very courteous and welcoming! We arrived early and they had fun riddles to complete while we waited. We completed the murder mystery and passed with 3 minutes to spare! We were visiting from Austin, but if we come back in the area we will definitely try their NASA escape hunt next!

I wish I had known about this sooner. Its exactly the type of thing I like. I loved the decorations, costumes, and puzzles. I need to get smarter so I can actually beat it, but it was an excellent time with me and my nerdy friends. I will definitely be coming back!

Such an awesome experience! I can’t say enough about the customer service we received from Jim and Jan. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that you have a fun, unforgettable time. Jim tailored our experience specifically to us and knew exactly when we needed a little nudge or a quick “thumbs up” to confirm when we were heading in the right direction. He kept the perfect pace so that we were having a blast the entire time and never let us get frustrated. These two, Jim and Jan, are great at what they do. I can’t say enough about this place. It was challenging and something different to do, I do feel as if our case was extremely long definitely due to the time amount I was given but I enjoyed myself.

This was a great team building activity, we did it for our company holiday party and everyone loved it. They also had enough space for us to mingle and have food and drinks.

Came for a work team building event. We did the theft of the Lone Star room. The puzzles were of reasonable difficulty. You have four hints that you can request at any time. They also have a camera and monitor you and may provide additional information or help along the way. We all had fun and it was a fun experience.

Loved the Apollo 13 room. Id never done one and this one was supposed to be the hardest. It was hard but the support from the team was fantastic and we all had a great time.

Went here as part of a team building event where we had two teams in separate rooms with the same theme. The room was setup well with many challenges and things to decode. After both teams finished, we had a review session to talk about how each team did and how well we worked together. Really enjoyed the experience.

My friends and I have done several escape rooms around Houston, and Escape Hunt is by far the best one. Weve completed all 3 rooms at Escape Hunt and are bummed there are no more for us to do. Each game is well-designed. The owners are great as well. Jim was our game master today and was great at providing us with appropriate clues.

I really enjoyed the Escape Hunt as we did it for a team building event. It was exciting to see how everyones mind works and how different people were able to solve different pieces of the puzzle. It was very entertaining and very fun... Only suggestion would to be a photo prop area to be able to commemorate that we were able to get out! :)

I have been to two of the rooms they offer and they never disappoint! This location is well done and the layout is perfect. I really felt like I was in mission control. If you need a team building event or have some really close friends then you should try this place. Its great!!

Mysteries are smartly designed, they are fun and challenging! The hosts do a great job at explaining the dos and donts. We tried the Murder in the Manor(forgetting the exact name) mystery and we were surprised by how elaborate it was. Attempt it with at least 4 people if its your first time solving puzzles like these.

Really cool room, tons of work went into making it as realistic as possible. Jim and Jan were so welcoming, and very helpful! The challenges were hard, but awesome. Very unique experience!

Fun, fun, fun! We had our office Christmas party there last night and had a blast. We did the Lone Star escape and divided into two groups. The 60 minutes goes by quickly and I’m sure the fun will continue today as we share stories! The staff was amazing and we look forward to another adventure there! Highly recommend!

My friends and I have been through all three rooms (only three are available as of this review). The only one we didnt get out of on time was the Apollo mission but we were sooooo close! Cant wait for new rooms to open up. Parking is easy especially for where it is located in Midtown.

Went here as a team building excercise and really enjoyed the two rooms we failed getting out if. Working with coworkers I dont work with on a regular basis and a nice change of pace. Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience. We celebrated my brothers Birthday ny taking a large group on an interesting adventure. Wow what an adventure! Amazing challenge ang first class facility.

The staff was great. They gave us a bit of history of how these games were created, how they were run, and some funny stories of people playing these games. It was a nice way to pass time.The game was also fun, as they were challenging, but not impossible. My group didnt solve the puzzle, but we had a great time.
