Super historical very cool but the submarine tour makes the trip

Our driver and guide cousin Shaq was an outstanding person. He was so kind and thoughtful to my brother who has a brain tumour. His understanding and patience was truly appreciated. His knowledge of the places we visited on the island was terrific I recommend him highly.

We had so much fun on our first trip that we went back again... and again!! Theres something for everyone. I loved the adventures like diving with manta rays, snorkeling with dolphins, viewing volcanoes, hiking, swimming, horseback riding and just wondering around the towns we visited. Others on our trip liked the historical tours like Pearl Harbor and Hulihee Palace. Then there are the heritage and cultural experiences like Luaus and the Polynesian Cultural Center. There are also the movie set tours (Jurassic Park/World, 50 First Dates, etc). And of course everyone loves the food! Im still dreaming about those pineapple upside-down pancakes. We got shaved ice every day. The company arranged most of our activities but we still had plenty of time to relax on the beach. Our flights were booked, our transportation was arranged, our hotel rooms were booked, and our activity reservations were made. Everything was included. The guides are locals and you will feel like a member of their family before you leave. A hui hou!

Today, we went on the tour with our guide Fu’a (Fabian) and what an amazing trip and time!!! This was perfect! Fu’a is the BEST guide! His knowledge of Oahu and Hawaii in general was so appreciated, but also his smile, kindness and willingness to show us everything he could in a day. There were 8 of us on a private tour. Our tour guide, George created an atmosphere of comfort and warmth to our family. He taught us many things about the culture and background of the Hawaiian people and the sacred land that they call home. This tour is a great way to see and learn about Pearl Harbor, USS Missouri, Oahu and so much more. Our guide, Cousin Shaq, tailored the day to our family’s interests perfectly. He was a wealth of knowledge, friendly and very engaging. He found Dole Whip for our son, identified every flower and tree, took us to lunch at a yummy local restaurant and that was only the first half of the day! He was a wealth of information on a broad range of topics. Our family greatly enjoyed every part of the tour/day!

I booked a tour with this company based on positive reviews for a belated honeymoon for my husband and I. Other than that, I knew nothing about the company and I so glad we booked with them. Fu’a was an outstanding tour guide, he is kind and attentive. My husband and I are both teachers and we really enjoyed learning about Hawaii, and our Hawaiian grammar lesson on the way back to the hotel. We have been practicing our pronunciation on street signs. His tips about the Pearl Harbor museum were particularly helpful. We enjoyed the dole plantation, as well as the Polynesian cultural center, he was informative and made sure we saw the important parts, and got us to cultural demonstrations on time. He took awesome pictures of us all along the way. We have had many magical days in Hawaii, but the day on the tour is easily one of our favorites. Mahalo!

We had a guided tour of Pearl Harbor and the beautiful island of Oahu. Our guide, George, was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about his island and with a very comfortable ride. Visiting from the UK, I wish we had done the tour earlier in our stay as he told us about lots of places to visit with local knowledge. Shame we don’t have more time, but I guess we will have to visit again!

Our family had an amazing time. Our tour guide, George, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He was hustling all day and running ahead of us to secure us the best tickets to make sure our group had the best experience. Also, he remembered everyone’s name, engaged the whole group, and really just embodied “the spirit of aloha”. A lot of interesting and helpful information (especially if it’s your first time on island). Clean and comfortable vans, too. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I had an INCREDIBLE time on the Pearl Harbor Memorial Tour with Conway! Conway said his goal (and the goal of all the tour guides) is to make every single guest feel like family - and boy did Conway make us feel like family! He was so kind and caring and genuinely wanted to get to know my husband and me. He taught us so much about the island, the culture, the agriculture and more on the way to and from the Pearl Harbor Memorial. In addition to seeing the Pearl Harbor Memorial, Conway took us to see the USS Missouri, Iolani Palace, and the National Cemetery for the Pacific! Conway wanted to show us everything we could possibly see in Honolulu. The trip was worth every penny and MORE because of Conway’s incredible kindness, friendliness, thoroughness, and preparedness. With so many options for tours and excursions, this family business is a MUST book if you want to see the Pearl Harbor memorial!

Fua was an excellent and knowledgeable guide.The privare tour was the best option for us .The tour started at the Arizona Memorial and then the USS Missouri. We had no wait and entered immediately. Then we were off to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Pounders, then off to watch many entertaining shows especially KAP .Then off to the North shore stopping at a macadamia nut farm, and to Sunset beach. On the way back to the airport stopped by Dole plantation. Our time with Fua was amazing .Thank you Pearl Harbor tours for making our trip unforgettable.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Pearl Harbor Tours for many years. We have a group that visits Hawaii every 2 years, and they handle everything from flights from different departure cities, private tours, buses, meals, performance and visits to Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri and one of our favorites, the luau, and show at the Polynesian Cultural Center. We love our tour guides, Harold and Kiri, they take such good care of us. Moa Mahe is the BEST! This is the best way to visit Hawaii! I have taken groups as many as 210, 180, down to 85. I had great time on my tour thanks to cousin Jake. I know here in Hawaii the saying is we are all family, but this tour made me feel like that was really true. I lucked out because the family that was supposed to be apart of the tour canceled at the last minute so I got a personal tour for a regular price. When I was first made aware of this I was a little skeptical about what the day was going to be like. However cousin Jake’s personality was very chill so after the first couple of hours I knew the rest of the day was going to be great. He was very knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions I had. Whoever gets to have or has had the privilege of having him as a tour guide is very lucky. If you do get this opportunity don’t be afraid to drop a little freestyle rap while on the tour.

Our group had a wonderful experience with Pearl Harbor Tours! From airport pick-up and drop-off to our actual tour, everything was great. We did a 12 hour tour, visiting Pearl Harbor, the Dole plantation, and the Polynesian cultural center, which could have been boring but our tour guide Walter was particularly excellent. He was the perfect combination of fun and professional and kept our group entertained the whole time. Our Tour Guide JJ picked us up at the airport as scheduled. He was very polite and cordial! After the tour of Pearl Harbor he took us on an extensive tour of the island which included history, the language, photo stops, pineapple and macadamia nut plantations and so much more! There is no way we could have seen or learned this much on our own. I highly recommend this company and if you have a choice of guides when you book, definitely ask for cousin JJ!!!

Our experience was excellent! Our flight from Maui was delayed so our awesome guide Conway had to come back to the airport to get us. They went out of their way to make the delay easy without any gltches. Conway was extremely knowledgeable and informational. The van was clean and comfortable and we not only got a great tour of Pearl Harbor including the Arizona and Missouri, but also neat sights in Honolulu. We thoroughly enjoyed our Pearl Harbor tour. Our guide, Harold, truly went above and beyond anything we could have expected. He gently guided us through the memorial and our tour of the Missouri allowing us to see everything at our own pace. After the tour, he took the time to show us the Palace, a quick trip to the windward side of the island and a pleasant drive through the Punchbowl cemetery. Cousin JJ was an excellent tour guide we flew in from Kauai all the arrangements were made by his company. Everything alligned perfectly JJ met us at the airport dropped us off to Pearl harbor for that tour picked us up after and gave us a great tour of the rest of the island making many stops for pictures and lunch. JJ explained the culture and language to us. I would highly recommend this tour youll see a lot more and get a better understanding of the island.

Our guide, Walter, was absolutely the best tour guide imaginable. Extremely knowledgeable; we asked a lot of questions and he always knew the answers. Learned more about the Hawaiian culture that I expected. He made us fall in love with the people and their culture. Definitely worth every penny spent.

My husband and I took the Pearl Harbor / Oahu tour while staying in Turtle Bay. George was nothing more than a fabulous guide for the day. He is welcoming, considerate of his guests comfort and very knowledgable. His concern for our needs was outstanding, including seeing everything on our wish list for the day ! His deep love and familial attachment to the area is very evident and added so much to our day. Not only did he explain the sights we visited, he enhanced our experience with his personal stories. George was also kind enough to share information about foods to try, additionalsights to visit on our own as well as volunteering to be a contact during the remainder of our stay on Oahu. We took a private tour of O’ahu including Pearl Harbor through Pearl Harbor Tours. Our tour guide, George, was amazing. His knowledge, love and deep respect of the island was apparent. His family has been integral in several aspects of the community and he shared some amazing stories of Hawaii and O’ahu. He was able to give us historical and cultural perspectives but also gave us the tourist flavour. We had a great day for our day trip from the Big Island of Hawaii to Oahu, to visit Pearl Harbour and USS Missouri. We opted for the personal tour, Harold took us to the places I mention and then also we did a tour of the island in his Jeep, seeing many great beaches, Dole plantation and lots and lots of scenery. A very good day, one that was on my husbands bucket list and we were not disappointed

We were lucky to get Cousin Jake as our tour guide. He provided us with an informative, thorough, and enjoyable tour of Oahu. Everything was promised and then some! Jake’s plans changed as far as vehicles used and we benefitted by getting a more personal “private tour” which we thoroughly enjoyed. We flew from Maui over to Oahu for the day. I had a of couple bucket list places I have always wanted to visit. Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, and the Polynesian Cutural Center. Our driver picked us up at the airport and had the entire day planned out for us. We did it all. Our driver Walter was so friendly and fun. I never could have done this in my own especially all on one day. I would absolutely recommend this company. My family loved it and have awesome memories of this day.

Signed up for a group tour, but because of the flight connection status from my island (Kauai), the timing didnt work.Moa helped me work out a solution; a private guided tour of the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and the island. The day was pretty long, but we went all over the island, stopping where we wanted, for as long as we wanted. Because of the schedule, we did an 11 hour day (including the flight), but it didnt wear us out. I would do the same tour again in a heartbeat!

Pearl Harbor Tours went above and beyond our expectations and then some! We flew from Kauai to Oahu for the day to take the Pearl Harbor and Private Oahu Circle Island Tour. We called these guys and Moa helped get THIRTEEN of us (who didn’t all speak the same language) sorted out with days to spare. We had some English speakers, some Cantonese speakers, and a few who spoke both. Luckily, Moa set us up for most of our tours with a pair of guides, one who did the English tour, and one who did the Cantonese tour. All 3 of the guides who helped us were well mannered, funny, and knew all about Oahu. They told jokes, gave us info on the local restaurants and which places were more or less ‘tourist-y’. Between the guides and Moa’s coordination, we even added an additional day of tours with this company because we liked them and wanted to see more of their tours.The guides also let us make some small requests like, where we wanted to be dropped off after the tour on some days, and what sort of places we wanted to stop for shopping/food during the tour, even though we didn’t plan this ahead of time, the guides made it work and helped us work in some of our ideas on the fly.

We are scheduled to take the Pearl Harbor Tour in April 2019 and I just want to let everyone know that this tour company is one of the best I have ever dealt with. This is a pre-tour review letting all know how well the customer service is with Pearl Harbor Tours. I contacted Moa with a question originally because our concern was we would be arriving via Princess Cruises and were wondering where we would go to pick up the tour. Moa made all the arrangements to pick up our party of 4 at the same pier where our ship was docking. Not only that but he sent me special emails to let us know exactly how the tour would work and how we would be contacted. So far Pearl Harbor Tours has demonstrated to me an impeccable method of customer service that is so lacking by many of the larger companies. They almost make us feel like we belong to the family. I can tell you that with what this company has demonstrated to us no one would be disappointed taking any of the tours they have to offer. Thank you in advance Pearl Harbor Tours.James and Laurie

Conway Amazing, loved learning island history

First we like to Thank Moa for all his help in getting us a private jeep circle island tour, since the regular island circle tour was booked. Our personal tour guide Walter was Awesome. We would recommend Walter as your tour guide. Walter explained Hawaii folklore to us and showed us many of the Hawaiian Sites. I decided Wednesday that I wanted to make the tour to Pearl Harbor on Friday. My husband was a WWII Veteran and passed away last March. He was at the signing of the peace treaty and I wanted to honor him. I had to get from the island of Hawaii to Oahu. If it hadn’t been for Moaa I would not have gotten there on such short notice. Moaa made the plans and Ozzy was my tour guide. After Pearl Harbor Museum, the Arizona, and the Missouri Ozzy took me to lunch, the Veterans’s Memorial Cemetery, Downtown Honolulu, and the Nu’Uanu Pali Lookout. They made my time there so special, to say thank you I had a wonderful time and it meant so much to me. Mahalo you guys are the best.
