Location is convenient to the cruise line dock, which is not exactly the nicest spot on the island. Very old church under renovation inside but from what I could see it will be lovely once it is all done. Church membership was very warm and presented all first time visitors a lovely shell Lei.

I grew up coming to this church, there has been a metamorphosis over time but still true to its age. There is historical significance at this church.

We visited a year ago today, and were greeted by Susan, who is on the hospitality committee. She was incredibly welcoming and very kind. Everyone we met there after Mass was lovely. We are looking forward to the day we can go back!

Simple but very historic basilica cathedral. It has relics of St. Marianne Cope and St. Damian of Molokai who was ordained here.

Youd like to give it 5 stars, since it is a place of worship. Location in town makes it difficult to get to, the underground parking is a super tight fit, and the amount of homeless you need to go through feels unsafe

Really beautiful. Memorials & Relics of Saints Father Damien & Sister Marianne Cope. I wish they did not waste money on remodel changing alter to the front (traditional) it was so nice when alter was in middle w/pews facing alter. I always meant to write to Bishop Larry Silva about this. Money need for so many other things why did you do this?!

Shower can and thrift store and also pantry.

Its a good to pray in that place, but sometimes you cannot concentrate to pray cause some kids to noisy.

I attended Mass at this beautiful and humble Basilica in August 2017. I love it and the people who worship there. If I move to Hawaii, I will live near Our Lady of Peace so I can walk there for Mass.

Everything in the cathedral is old and authentic, as I first visited many many years ago.

The Cathedral Basilica is a wonderful peaceful and beautiful place to attend mass or to just sit and visit.

I was married to Carol Inukai on August 27 1988 and will never forget our week in Hawaii because we were in love )1 she was born in Korea and lived in Hawaii 2) met her in Scranton, PA and fell in love only to start dating and 2 years later were married in Hawaii plus Father Terrance Watanabe was our priest who married us and that time in Oahu was so great and I will never forget the time of precious love ultimately raised 3 beautiful sons who are now older and working in their fields of study.The Church was magnificent and priests, bishops, nuns and secular staff were greeted with hospitality. Carol divorced me but I can never remarry since she is a dream and I honor her decision however it hurts to be without her and pray for her everyday. God Bless All!

Great pipe organ, choir, and liturgy.

This is where I took instruction and was confirmed. The Diocese office is next door and the Sisters of St. Paul Catholic Book store is not far. This is a warm church family and a beautiful cathedral.

The mass ceremony is fo solemn; the church choir sings beautifully, feels like angels are beside you singing and you will have goose bumps when they sing; the priest are really awesome, they preach in a way that you will absorb the words of God into your heart:) Beautiful!
