Very clean and nice rooms. The front office staff were extremely rude. The grounds staff were very nice and personable. Unfortunately the management is lacking respect for guests which sets a bad tone.

If you are booking for you and kids, its ok. But for all adults make sure that they understand that you need multiple rooms otherwise you will get 2 beds in 1 room

Would give it 3 & 1/2 stars. A tad outdated, but a decent place to stay for a couple nights on the way to FL. Different after hours check in procedure, but the staff was nice. Loved all the hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang towels & what not on!

Nice tennis resort several blocks from the beach. This resort is older but has been fairly well maintained. The pool could use an update.

Facility needs upgrading, water line to shower,is out of wack.you get hot,cold etc water, while taking shower.All amenities were pretty much shut down. So youre were limited. People working there seemed.o.kA bit of smiles would help!Excsssibilty to the beach,and nearby activites were good, bicycle paths were outstanding.

Our go to vacay! Two years running and cant wait until next year. Of course they could use some modernization and better beds, but hey its the beach! Staff is friendly

Swimming pool hours are 8am to 5pm. The office hours are the same. But if there is a issue after hours you can call the resort next door which shares the pool by the way to help you. So how can you by a family friendly resort and no pool in the evening?

Really great amenities and location! Fifteen minute walk to the beach on nice, beautiful trails. Access to a great fitness center with classes available, and pools with outdoor seating. Surrounded by beautiful vegetation and wildlife, and the beach nearby has great facilities and is stunning! Footwashing stations, changing rooms, and great swing seating and clean indoor restrooms! Highly recommend this resort on Hilton Head Island.

Players club resort its an excellent choice to spend a week in Hilton Head Island..Karon S. /front desk manager was outstanding and is quite an asset for players club resort. Very knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant people skills.. condo was well-maintained and the resort was pleasantly landscaped.. wonderful support staff and hard-working group and I will stay again.

Pretty standard/older Timeshare place. Nothing was great; nothing was terrible. Except the fact they have NO RECYCLING. How can you have an oceanfront community and not recycle? That is embarrassing...

Worked through a scheduling snafu with Pamela and Karen. Both were professional and gracious. The issue was resolved and our vacation was saved. Cant recommend this location enough as the perfect base camp for your Hilton Head island explorations. Its our fifth summer on the island, first with Pamela as the on site manager. We brought our family from California and well be back every year! Thanks again Pamela and staff!

This place is sooo fun! Its very close to the beach, and has an indoor and outdoor pool! The beach is only 16 minutes away if you walked! And the outdoor pool is so close as you can see from this picture.

Great location on Hilton Head Island. Easy walk to beach, Coligny, and groceries. Decent outdoor pool, rooms are nice with well set up kitchen. Friendly service and good quality wifi.

THIS IS NOT A RESORT! It was a clean hotel, but there was HORRIBLE WIFI the entire time. Plus, very THIN WALLS! the rooms were as basic as can get without being a Motel.The air-condition sounded like a thunder storm with huge winds. Balcony was not nice. The fridge would not close because of where it was place, the door kept hitting the wall when trying to close it. So it was leaking inside. I wouldnt stay here again, unless it was the last option. There are Soo many better hotels around there.

We were there for 5 days last night when I was making sure I didnt leave anything I checked under the bed and couch. Under the couch I found food that we didnt eat. Rooms need updated stat.

Relaxing and great location

This is an older, but well-maintained resort. There is an excellent workout facility and activities program. The location is a short stroll to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Of course, you can get around easily on a bike. There are bike paths all throughout the Island.

The place is clean and the rooms at the hotel are ok. But the beds are terrible, I had a rough time getting into the bed. They are set up on a platform, the box spring and mattress came up almost to my waist. They were very uncomfortable too. If you can avoid it, do not stay at the S R hotel.

Very bad customer service. Would not let us check in until our entire party arrived. My parents booked two units and put one in my name and on my credit card. BUT since they made the actual booking, we were told they also had to physically be standing there to complete the checkin. Of course, we were only told this once we arrived after a 5 hour drive. Nobody bothered to mention that earlier. Even though they already charged my card and had my unit in my name, they would not let us check in. I have a 2 kids (5 and 2) and we were made to wait over 2 hours until my parents finally got here. Basically a terrible company. Should not be allowed to do business in the state and should be shutdown. Never ever do any business with these people.

A nice getaway in January. Huge master bedroom. Full kitchen. Second BR had 2 twin beds & full bath. Also my room had a sauna! Could not have been happier! Would definitely come back.

The suite/condo was fabulous! It is an older building but well maintained. It had so many features including a sauna, step up & into an 8 foot square whirlpool, a toilet room with a bidet, a separate shower room, spiral staircase to the 2nd floor, etc. We had so much room & we didnt want to leave.

Pool only open till 6 on weekends and 8 during week. Not kid friendly. Lady named Abby working pool kicked us out at 7:50 when closes at 8. Started picking up pool area at 7:30 and took all towels leaving us none to dry off with. Not impressed at all with the attitude she gave us. Would not come back or recommend to anyone with children.

I went with my friends family. It was so nice and a Bike ride away from the beach. I liked that it has a kiddie pool for my son!

Great resort! Love it here.. Sometimes I rent mine out but only because I cant get away often enough. Health facility is awesome. Room is large and I live the bubbly tub in master suite!

We enjoyed it very much. The people were very friendly. It had a great pool.

Not a bad place to stay, a little dated but quiet. Only a couple of blocks from Coligny Plaza so it was within biking or walking distance from the beach and restaurants if you wanted. The staff was very nice. The pool wasnt huge but was convenient to our unit and well maintained.

Completely outdated pillow cases were stained. Grounds are beautiful but rooms not appealing AT ALL

The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk is attentive and courteous. The outdoor pool is lively and a welcoming outdoor meeting place. It is a little dated, but a great place.

Beautiful rooms. Not too terribly far from the beach but not extremely close either. Nice enimities but would have been helpful to have an elevator.One of the cleaning staff went into our locked room and stole my pink Yeti cup while we were loading our car. We were leaving a day early but still had the room reserved for another day. When I called the front desk they were able to locate it an hour later. Cleaning staff told them we had checked out so they were cleaning the room and picked it up. We had not checked out and were in the parking lot loading our car. Front desk said they would mail the cup since by the time they found it we were an hour away. I have not receive the cup or a call from them.This cup had sentimental value due to my son giving it to me for mothers day shortly after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a pink breast cancer special addition cup.

Great location and cheaper than most other places in the area. No elevator. Very outdated. Clean and served the purpose.

The Players Club Resort is a wonderfully decorated building. The room we visited was larger than expected. There was an open spiral staircase leading up to a loft with a closed off bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds and window that covers the wall and part of the ceiling. The main floor has a spacious living area with an eat in area. The kitchen was smaller but it is comfortable and appointed with all appliances, including a dishwasher. The master bedroom is on the main floor. The bedroom is huge with a large king size bed. The master bath is accessible through the master bedroom. The master bath is a very nice size. Just outside is a huge swimming pool. A wonder place to stay with the family!

Although clean there were minor maintenance issues. The toilet seat would not stay up. The bathroom door would not stay latched and would pop open. The location was convenient.

Great quiet resort! Resort amenities include an outdoor pool, indoor pool, fitness center, and outdoor jacuzzi.

Very fun location. We were walking distance to a fun beach area, free tennis at Van der Meer Tennis University and awesomely fun biking all over Hilton Head. We did the 30 minute resale review and enjoyed great discounted dining from taking time out for this. The rooms and property were basic, clean and functional. No complaints at all but no frills either. If you are primarily looking for fun and not luxury, this is the place for you.

The condos are beautiful and spacious, we were happy because we cooked our meals when we wanted to or just enjoy an outside dinner after pool time. The island offers a lot to do and enjoy its amazing sites I wish we didnt have to go to NY

Nice pool and facilities, standard rooms. All the basic trappings of a suite with a kitchen, dining nook, living room and two bedrooms, plus a short walk to the beach. Only one bathroom, however.

Run down and old. No elevator so you have to lug your stuff up stairs. Very small units. Spiral stair case to top bed room. Musty smelling and not that clean. Dead bugs on bathroom sink. AC filter nasty and hadnt been cleaned probably since installed until my hubby cleaned it. Would not stay here again...ever unless they completely redone!

Outdated, refrigerator sang all night, had to count inventory, I dont go on vacation to make sure all my utensils, appliances work are here. We paid for peace and quiet and relax.

Rooms arent updated along with a lot of the property. The staff was very nice and courteous. The indoor pool closes very early and also is not available to children before noon on weekdays. Nice place but lots of rules for using amenities and difficult hours to make using them easy for those with children.

Stayed at the players club resort on Hilton Head Island. Rooms were a bit small, and there should be a common bathroom if someone stays on the couch. Location was great with easy access to the beach. The pool was also very nice as well.

Think twice before you agree to stay at this so-called resort. Rooms are a bit old - old appliances, furniture, bathrooms. However the place is very clean and grounds are well kept. There is no beach access and pool needs maintenance - it is shared with many units - pool furniture is pretty ratty. If you are going to Hilton Head and want the beach, you have to stay in one on the beach front properties - public beach access is very difficult to find and use.

Facilty was clean. Unit could use some updating. I was very surprised there was no elevator. Stairs were difficult for traveling companion. Spiral staircase in unit to reach 2nd bedroom and bathroom was quite tracherous! We were grateful for use of facilty washer and dryer at no charge. There were no indications of recycling for paper, plastics etc. Staff encountered during visit were friendly.Grounds were well maintained.

I had a great stay at the Players Club Resort. I would recommend this place to friends and family. The staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly.

Older facilites in Timeshare section. Cracked tiles in Bathroom and kitchen. Peeling wallpaper and electric burners on stovetop uneven and difficult to get pan to sit flat. Unable to get phone signal unless outside room. WiFi okay. Pools nice and 10 min walk to beach. Access to fitness center on site.

Nice quiet place to relax and unwind. Pool is enjoyable. If it is raining, move inside to the fitness center to enjoy the indoor pool or hot tub. The fitness center is nicely furnished with knowledge staff. A short, less than five minute walk to the beach. Less than five minute walk to a Bilo supermarket, Wild Wings restaurant is across the parking lot from Bilo supermarket.Players Club Resort is conveniently located to numerous items.I eagerly look forward to my next visit.

Very dated, needs total renovation, the rear security door never locked . First floor units patio has no privacy..people use the concrete patio pads as a sidewalk between buildings

Weird room arrangements... but clean safe and well maintained.

Grounds were nice even for this time of year we just did a drive-through to see if we would want to stay there at a future date

The location could be better; closer to the beach. The rooms are good but the bathrooms are not maintained well enough; the bathtub doesnt drain very well.
