I love a covered bridge, and this one is no exception! It sits right at the top of High Falls and is a great spot to enjoy a moment of respite during your hike. There arent any benches (which would be the only thing Id add), but it made for a dry, shady shelter for us to eat our lunch. Listening to the trickle of the water, and watching the tiny fish swim below made for a relaxing lunch break, and I highly recommend making the trek up here if you are able!

The bridge is nice, but sitting on top of High Falls makes it worth the short diversion

Great place to hike! Well-groomed trails and fire roads make this an easy hike for any skill level. I recommend packing a picnic and hiking to Lake Julia or Bridal Veil Falls to enjoy the views while eating.

Loved the covered shelter which was just above the high falls. very easy to access from High falls entry parking, only 0.5 miles hike. We approached the hike from Hooker Falls which makes it 3 miles round but it was pretty smooth with proper path and steps where needed.

Absolutely worth the walk.

Nice bridge, great to take pics on it. Nice view of the river getting away from you but no waterfall view.
