Very nicely kept trails. You appreciate the water and wild life there. For as long as I have been in Vegas/Henderson never realizing how close this area was.

Nice place for hiking. Good remains of the old Whitney Mesa Nature Preserve.. zoo. Family oriented. Its summertime so make sure to bring water, sunscreen and a hat.

What a find. This place is pretty awesome. I only docked a star because of some trash and dog mess laying around..come on people.The preserve trail system is one loop, essentially. I enjoyed this civic oasis in Feb/March. Rocky main trail with multiple side trails to choose from.

Awsome place to go run or just walk an take pictures. Dogs love it haven’t seen any coyotes but there out there I’m sure haven’t seen any rattle snakes either but they have signs posted. Every time I go out there I have a great time so don’t be to worried it’s a fun park.

This place is bigger than it looks. It was a nice walk, kids were able to handle it just fine. Even saw some coyotes enjoying the sun! Thats the only thing visitors should feel wary about when visiting Whitney Mesa Nature Preserve.

I cant believe this is smack inside a town. Very good view of Henderson and nearby Cities. Nice trail. Youll see wildlifee too...worth visiting.

Great place for a morning walk/hike!! Very nice view and calm, not too trafficked. Nice place to get away from society. Easy hike, benches at the top, and doggy poop bags available as well. Dog friendly and good for young kids too.

Fun place for a quick run or walk.

This trail at Witney Mesa Nature Preserve has a nice 4 - 5 mile hike/walk along the upper and lower mesa. Easy hike with great views conveniently located along Sunset Rd, near Valle Verde.

Great place to watch the fireworks for 4th of July. Can see Vegas all around you.

If you don’t want to drive far to hike around Vegas, I recommend this place.

If you need a quick 4.5 mile hike. This is the spot!!!!

Its a nice walk, some of the trails are bit too steep. The wildlife here are a cool glimpse to see, there a lizards and rabbits almost everywhere. Beware of rattlesnakes, be cautious other than that, have a good time.

Good little nature mesa set-up here.. watch out for coyotes trust me..and its illegal to carry a fire arm on this property.. I checked with the county. careful.

Pretty nice desert trails... BBQ areas, trails, animals, nature...This preserve is also a great stop for Pokemon Go players...If you go, remember that its a wild area. There are snakes and they may be near the many paths...

We found it by accident while driving around. My wife and dog I walked around. It was pretty peaceful.

Very cool bike hill! Kinda hidden & tucked away amongst neighborhoods & a school. Short but interesting trails & nice views.

Should be kept cleaner. However, its a small area for many people. Would be hard to keep up.

Really nice, semi-hilly area with nice trails to walk or jog and several lookout points with breathtaking Vegas views!

Cute, small area. Bbqs and nice views. No playground equipment for little kids but there are a few trails and open areas to run around. Bathrooms are a bit unkept but not nasty.

If youre feeling recreational you just might love this place. I do! What a great piece of nature preservation in the city.

Trails are not kid friendly, lots of trash throughout the trails, and pictures from Google make this place look really nice, but in reality it makes me feel like I need a tetanus shot. #Truth

This place stays more cleaner than other parks within the neighborhood...probably because its more hidden?

This trail would be great but every thirty seconds there is a LOUD jet overhead! If not for that it would be a five star.

Beautiful hidden area of Las Vegas to hike.

A nice leisure hike thats fairly dog friendly. To bad alot of the trail markers are vandalized or missing.

This place was a great hiking day for me and my wife. We had a wonderful time learning about Nevadas history and the natural life of of the Nevada wilds.

This place is really pretty and clean. Wonderful place to go hike. Some trails are more difficult than others, so all levels of outdoor enthusiasts will be happy here!

Love going here. Hate that people cant be bothered to pick up their dogs poop. At least 4 dog bag stations and a bunch of trash cans around the lake. Come on people!

I hike up here often. The views are spectacular! FYI no restrooms... Go before and enjoy the hike.

Love to picnic here. Great little get away without having to go far. Can watch the little critters scurry around.
