What a beautiful park! The bark park is the best! My dog loves the water features & I like how they have the enclosures sectioned off according to the size dog you have. The only thing I would say about that is, the people need to put their dogs in the proper enclosure, not all larger dogs like little dogs & vice versa, so if you want to mix your larger dogs with smaller dogs then put them in the enclosure that says all size dogs. And I dont agree with taking your dog off leash while walking around, quit a few people are doing that & its going to end badly for some poor dog if they dont stop doing that, leash your dog at all times, except when in one of the enclosures. The walking paths are great! Its pretty clean & very peaceful
Nice park, nephew had a game here. Only down side, as far as I saw, there was only one restroom (stall and urinal) for the whole park
First time at the senior center...went there to vote...they were very organized and I got right in and out in less than 10 minutes. Excellent. Thank you!
Nice temperature once we got inside to bite. Moderately long line. Very manageable. Plenty of shade. Nice volunteers.
Beautiful park. I would have been able to enjoy myself had the code enforcers not been roaming around busting people for not wearing masks while walking in the wide open all by themselves. Apparently Henderson has gone coocoo for Sisolak and his mask mandate.
Another beautiful day for a bike rideCheck out those fall colors on the leaves!
This is a senior facility but is not functioning as that during the pandemic. I went there to vote, about a 30 minute line. No antagonists, no political party harassing you. Just polite people waiting in line with their masks on.
Great area. Soccer fields and baseball. Hiking everything you could want.
We went to vote, it went very quickly. The line was short, only inside the building. Yay, that task is done!
Over all just a beautiful, beautiful place. The last time that we were in Salt Lake City before this visit my wife was 8 months pregnant and it was very difficult to walk the gardens around the park or to really see anything and be able to enjoy it . This time we planned on half A-day to just take in the gardens and the park and all the things to see in this complex. The weather was perfect everything was in Bloom and although there were many other people in the park he did not feel crowded and we were certainly not rushed. The sense of history of this being among the 1st places established when Salt Lake City was a salish to gave it an added sense of peace and tranquility.I highly recommend getting the access passes to go see everything and taking at least a day to just go and enjoy the park and everything it has to offer.
Huge park, many different areas to enjoy incl. an Awesome dogpark. Big open grassy areas with big parking lots. Just make sure to remember what side you parked by or youll have a very long walk. Id say park near the area youre trying to get to because theres different exits abd entryways once your in the Park. Great playing fields tho! Was clean & fun.
Amazing fields with spotless restrooms. Pleasure to attend a few games there
How, its close by. Clean & quiet, its a good size park I enjoy it.
Its ya Beautiful Park to go there ya Big long walk to walk and Jog, and beautiful seemer there also
They have a cool dog obstacle course and plenty of room for doing park stuff
Great sports park. Well maintained.
Another nice CoH park. Clean, nice restrooms, well maintained baseball fields, and shaded room for the parents. Overall, highly recommend.
Great Dog Park for dogs of all sizes. There are three separate areas: Large Dog, Small Dog & Mixed. There is a massive amount of space in all three, enough for dogs to run on the grass and play with one another, or take some space from play to rest. Doggy bags, trash and benches are provided in all spaces, along with plenty of trees for shade. In the mixed area there is also a dog agility set up, which is great for beginners to try with their dogs.As well, the best part by far is that there is a doggy water park! Very fun space to have dogs run through fountains during the hot weather.
Enjoyed itHavent been on a diving board in awhile now I can practice lol
This park has everything. It is dog friendly and people friendly. Lots of Activities. Or plenty of places to pull up a patch of grass and a tree. Very Nice go c. U wont be dissapointed.
It ya Beautiful Park 2 check out the Big Lake & surrounding
This is a very nice dog park with different sections for different sizes of dogs. This dog park has all the things necessary and has a big dog statue in the middle. There is also a mini water park for dogs to play with which is really cool. There are two of there and they only turn on during the summer. There is a water fountain for dogs to get hydrated and one for humans. The bathroom is nice and clean and there are many trails leading into the park. I see many dogs having fun whenever I go and it is a good dog park.
5-Stars. Awesome! Great Fun for All!
The best bark Park in the country!!!!! Whom ever created the doggy splash pad is an obvious dog lover
One of the largest parks in Henderson, though COVID has changed some things
Very clean Park. Lots of space for kids to run and play. And enjoy any day out in the open air.
Its quiet with a lot of room to walk or run
Nice park to take your dog (not a dog lover though) kids, especially if you enjoy walking or running well lite in the dark of the am and at dusk.
The indoor pool is great. People are friendly.
I went there to vote and with me being handicapped the people that were in charge of the voting helped me get into the area where the voting was going on and made sure that I was comfortable
The view. Its just nice and clean
Great facility....long drive for us but still well kept
Its just good And everybodys friendly
I mean sure there is feilds for soccer and to run around while playing tag but the playground I think you need to upgrade it
The aquatic center is the best! Ive been going to the pool regularly for 5 years. I love that it is open at 5 am during the week. I am able to get a good workout in before the start of the day. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean.
Large spacious park with lots of grass and fields to run and play in. Didnt see anything tied off to prevent use during COVID19, but I also didnt find a playground.
Such a fun park! ! Has a bit of everything and more! There is an amphitheater with plenty of seats and even more picnic table style seating surrounding it. Sports fields are very well taken care of.
Awesome park and well maintained!
I think this is a beautiful park. I only gave it 4 stars because even though its way out in deep Henderson there were homeless people sleeping by the playground hidden in the bushes and that made me nervous. But the playground was great with swings and a tightrope for the kids to play on. The ground was super soft and even when my 13 year old daughter fell really hard she didnt even get hurt. We only visited the playground. It was nice with close parking.
Went there for early voting.Quick and easy
Very nice. Looking for good pinochle players single deck and double deck had a great time playing pool and playing pinochle with fun place
This is such a beautiful park and its so big!The trails have great views and and so much wildlife! Went for a walk and we saw lizards, Gambels Quail, hares, and Cactus Wren! They have large open spaced dog parks for the pups and a number of playgrounds for the kids.
This is one of the best parks we’ve ever been to. Prior to us moving to Thailand, we used to go to that park pretty much every single day. It’s usually pretty busy around 9 am. Now, that we moved back from Thailand, we live in Summerlin so we don’t go there as much but we definitely miss it. Our dog loves playing in the rocky area lol it’s clean and I definitely recommend this place to all of the animal lovers out there. Cheers!
We went on the fields for a friends soccer game, all of the grass was dead, but the landscape was very good. Overall I enjoyed the game
Safe, clean and great staff !
Great open and very spacious park
Great park! Lots of good areas for the dogs. One star off because the lights have been blinking off and on for like 3 months.
Lovely super big family park with lots of greenery and mature trees. Also, tennis, basket ball courts, ect. Water fall park area for the children to play in for those hot summer days. Picnic areas.
Its a pleasant, quiet place.
Aquatic Center is cool. Lots of sports fields. Big dog park area. Kids play ground is pathetic in comparison to the rest of the park.
The park itself is nice but they were holding a soccer tournament. The bathrooms are extremely limited and when you do find one it had two stalls ?? The water to wash your hands shot straight up in the air and they didnt even looked damaged?
Nice place to walk, great soccer and baseball field.
Best patio flea market ever. Great sales And great ppl
It was a little confusing to get such a short distance
Great place to walk your dog and enjoy variety of sports games. Love the baseball and Lacrosse games.
Thank all involved that make things like this a reality....And for all those that know what l am saying...Trying to convey...10Q
The park has multi purpose athletic fields, walking trails, a dog park and a playground. What more can you ask?
Lots to do at this park. They have a dog park play grounds and soccer fields and baseball fields. Always events or games foong on here
Its nice I guess for Vegas. Im just used to more green.
Wonderful park. Very clean Professionally maintained. Wished that there were parks like that in my home town
Parking was very limited for the tournament. A parent scene required police attention causing delayed traffic within the parking area, restrooms were packed and grass fields were dry like hay/straw where teams tried to play on them but traction with cleats was not sufficient.
Nice park, typically well maintained. Is currently setup for soccer, most fields are grass, with one Astro turf field.Parking can get busy on Saturdays, but can always find a spot.Even with the number of visitors, most people clean up after themselves, so the field are usually clean.
Clean facilities and the best taco truck EVER. Fields are well kept and grounds are tidy
Good fieldsbut Horrible Restrooms. Absolutely Atrocious and Not working as if it wasnt Bad Enough.
This is great for seniors
I love the Bark park great runs and my husky loves the splash pads
Love taking my dog for a walk. Lots of walking trail options. Walk the perimeter fir a 2.4 mile walk or if too hot cut through for shorter walk. Always love the big tree lined grass area on NE corner.
Love to go running here!
Very nice park. Nice place to walk your pet or yourself and has childrens playground.
Too big.
Lots of parking and restrooms. No green grass but lots of Soccer fields.
Very nice desert park.
Second year in row went to park to watch our daughter play in LVI RUGBY tournament. Nice park not why the grass is the watered to be green . Nice fields. Bathrooms do get a lil overloaded
I dont recall visiting this park and it was over a year ago according to this site. I may have driven by it but I dont remember being there for any length of time. So I really cant give it a review. Im sure its a very nice part
Love taking my dogs here
Very family friendly and spacious. Parking can sometimes get a little packed but a great facility over all.
Nice park!
Such a nice park. Clean & beautifully landscaped. Perfect walking paths for the dogs. 3 really nice, very big dog parks with grass!
Fairly clean park. Nice fields, clean facilities. Could use more shades areas, or some well placed screens.
Love the nature trails, bark park, and aquatic center. Something for all ages here, including seniors (my parents enjoy the senior center which is always bustling)
Great walking path and trails
Huge multi-sport recreational complex. Soccer, swimming, baseball, dog park, driving/parking practice, parent walks during sports practices and SO MUCH MORE.Restrooms with LOTS of toilet paper.Very little shade, so BYOU. If you have a teenager that needs some parking practice, bring them here. Tons of stalls...reverse in, straight in, angled in, parallel parking. Get them used to a roundabout, speed tables, pedestrians that dont look before they cross.More trash cans around the fields would be useful.Playgrounds near sports fields would also be wonderful for bored siblings during games/practice.
Big park with a lot of walking paths. Great fields for a variety of sports plus basketball and tennis courts. Dog area is spacious and theres even water features for your dog to play in.
