Fun place to visit. Love the grounds with so many lovely trees.

Meek Park is beautifully manicured year-round, which makes it great for photos! Im a photographer and recommend this location often because its easy and there is variety in aesthetics. Also, the Gazebo is a great plan B for rainy day photos!

Lovely park, areas that can be reserved, shade, benches and tables, playground. There was a pianist playing on the porch of the Meek House in the afternoon that was quite nice.

The park is nice and large. But doesnt have to Much to do here. A small play ground and a large grass area. Also a fountain and some historical buildings.

Love this park. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because they dont allow dogs.

If your looking for a beautiful scenery and some fresh air, this is the place to go. I let my kids play while I walk the trail.

Has a BBQ area. Has bathrooms. Lots of beautiful flowers in the rose garden. Nice kids area. I went early in the morning and there were several people by the kids playground smoking marijuana and cigarettes. Not cool to do when children are there to play.

Meek estate park Hayward CA....Centers around the Meek Mansion/house.A part of Alameda County..... in the now City of Hayward but known as the Cherry Land District in the early 1900s.Well known for its vast acreage of Cherry and Apricot orchards of that era.The Meek family were very prominent land owners in the Cherry Land area hence the park name.Parts of the park/house can be rented for Weddings and Gatherings.The HARD park district runs and maintains this park.. and that means a very clean and very well maintained park.Check out this Piece of Hayward CA History.

Ive been to this park in the past and thought it was nice, but this evening I found out just how beautiful Meek Park really is. I wanted to walk and stay close to home so Meek Park it was. Many paths to choose from. The scenery is is wonderful, beautiful large trees, many rose bushes in bloom. The park is well kept. Not one piece of garbage on the lawns, the childrens play area very clean. It was very heart warming to see moms and dads playing soccer with their children! I smiled many times while walking. 2 thumbs up!

I live in Washington state, but went to this park when i was 12 years old 27 years ago! Its always stood out in my mind as this beautiful park, the last place I was able to be alone with my daddy before he passed. The white mansion, It stood out in my mind for 27 YEARS, and it looks to be just as beautiful today. So this is a tribute to my daddys memory and the longevity of this beautiful park. I miss you Daddy. R.I.P

Its nice and quiet and well kept.

My kids really enjoy this park. Although it could be better if there were basketball courts. The park has a lot of shade areas if you dont like to be in the sun too much. Great trails to walk or for kids to ride bikes and adults to still be able to see them. It also has play structures, a picknic area with tables and benches, reasonably clean restrooms, ample parking and most importantly the tire swing!!

Church opened its doors and arms during lake Oroville evacuation. I helped clean and serve the standed. Thats say alot about what a church really is in s community.

A very cute park with a large play area for kids. The play structure is even styled to match the old mansion. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and theres lots of space for a kid to ride a bike around. It would also be a great venue for a wedding. Theres a beautiful gazebo and a large lawn area for guests. There are also fun historic facts on plaques. Did you know this location was possibly the origin of bing cherries? Lots of other cute facts too!

Amazing historic House and outbuildings. Beautiful grounds and a play structure for a fun afternoon. The Meek House offers several kinds of tours and they are well worth the fee. The money going to the ongoing restoration f the home.

As of now or I should say when I was there 12/08/2019 the parking lot is closed due to construction on it,

Meeks Park is our favorite place to walk, picnic, see friends, take our grandkids, and enjoy pretty scenery. We go often because we can walk the path beside Butternut Creek and stay where it’s level or walk all the way around the trail, which includes hills, if we’re feeling spunky. There are fields for sports and also fields for a game of frisbee or touch football.

I went there to walk.very calm, lots of different sites to see. April 13th will have easter egg hunt 10 a.m.and the mansion will be open.

Very beautiful landscaping. Lots of room between areas for parties. Reserved places available. Historical site.

I got 3 flat tires here in the past 2 weeks. There is some weird thorny stuff all over the ground. Probably not a good place to ride bikes, unfortunately :/
