Very large park, great field conditions, and nice lighting on many fields (though strangely not the field where we played our 6 pm game - by the end, we could barely see the ball). I didnt see any actual bathrooms within reach, just porta-potties. The parking is ample, but for a tournament weekend, traffic was terrible - it took me 20 minutes to get out on the one way ring road.

Its a real disc golf course, 18 holes and good layout. This one is a fun course in the south Mississippi Woods. Im from Seattle and its nice to see a professional course.. Sure some are short, so what. One even is a hanging basket. Watch out for trees! Mondo,Haha! Park is huge and roomy.. maybe room for 18 more, hint.

Disc Golf Course Review: 1/5Pretty boring course. It is crammed along the outskirts of the larger park. Almost all baskets are in the woods and most range from 160-260 feet.Overall this course is just boring. The holes lack character and challenge. Some seem poorly designed. To make matters worse there are several BAD safety hazards due to intertwining fairways. One tee has a 280 BLIND throw to a basket within 10 feet of a different basket. No way to know if its safe to throw on that one. If you see caution tape on the course WATCH OUT. It means discs will be flying in your direction. Navigation is bad, easy to get lost. Mosquitos are numerous. Baskets dont facilitate scoring separation. Hard to make a bogey.I feel if you are just learning to play disc golf, you might like this course. There is not much here for anyone beyond that level.

Huge, vehicle accessible park with many well kept fields and courts for soccer, baseball/softball, tennis, and even disc golf. It also has nice facilities and some picnic tables in a pavilion area with a few drink machines, if necessary. Roads and parking areas all around the park and fields. The lights stay on until midnight or so. We are very blessed to have this great amenity afforded to us by the city of Hattiesburg, MS.

Clear signage, nice fields, and clean restrooms. It would be more stars but there were fire ant mounds everywhere. Once theyre taken care of knock it up to 4.5:)

Great place to come and play soccer. Some days it’s busy, but on others you have a very open and wide space to practice. There are goal sizes for toddlers, early elementary school, elementary school, and middle school+. Astounding park for my needs. Only downside for me is that it’s just too far to go to every day, but it’s a nice place to practice.

Best place in Hattiesburg for recreation!! Including a disc golf course, and plenty of fields. Baseball as well! Bathrooms and vending machines, also a large pavilion for gatherings.

Huge Place! I went here for an event and all I can say is that this place is huge! Lots of room for activities and I wasnt charged for parking or anything! Go check it out for yourselfs!

Tatum is a great park to go play pickup soccer at or go to do some training. Unfortunately the fields do take a beating and there are often time mud puddles and extra softened areas. There are no back stops behind the goals so be prepared for balls flying between fields.

Great fields, with a number of different setups for nearly any sport imaginable. With an easy-to-use lights system, Tatum is the place to go when you need a field.

To start as were driving in there is trash from one end to the other of the park. While TRYING to enjoy a nice relaxing game of disc golf there are several children playing and running on the course and I dont mean playing disc golf. Before we know whats happening they are running over picking up our disc standing in the middle of the fairway not moving at this point I am mad what started to be relaxing is now infuriating. People need to keep there kids OFF the course. My group will never play thus park again instead I will go to Paul b Johnson the next time I wanna play in Hattiesburg. I would NEVER recommend this park.

Can be super busy but well kept

Was in town and wanted to play some disc golf. Should have gone to another coarse. The whole park was trashed. Beer cans and food wrapper throughout the coarse and all overy the parking lots. People had thier vehicles parked in the middle of the disc golf coarse. Kids were running through the woods taking peoples discs and running off with them while thier parents played softball. They people playing softball had stereo systems turned up so loud it was hard to enjoy the coarse. There were also used condoms in the grass behind the softball fields. Do yourself a favor and go to a different coarse.
