Cute museum tucked away in a quaint downtown location. We came here on a whim and of course had to drag the kids away when it was time to go. A wide variety of activities were available so the kids can play until its time for you to peel them away. Highly interactive and wonderfully themed exhibits made this a score for our family!!

Wow this place had so many things to do. We got through everything in two hours with a quick play for each section but could have easily spent the whole day here. Such creative ideas for the kids to use their imagination, creativity and problem solving skills.

We loved everything about this museum! Such a perfect place for children of all ages. Our toddler had the best time exploring and playing with all the exhibits. The exhibits are fun for kids of many developmental levels as there are many ways to play. We hope to have time to visit again before our vacation ends. It’s also very affordable and offers lower prices for SNAP EBT families and you can come and go for an entire day.

Our grandkids ages 4 and 8 loved it! If you take the time to do the activities, you could spend hours here. However, the fee is minimal so if you only have an hour, youll get your moneys worth. As a teacher, I especially appreciated the hands on activities. For example, my 8 year old grandson and I built an electrical circuit and were able to see that it had to be closed to work the doorbell. The 4 year old loved feeling the fur of many animals as she looked at a picture of it. Both enjoyed the art and building blocks centers. There were sections to pretend like being a dentist with life size chair, a real ambulance with equipment, and a real airplane fuselage with pilot seat. A favorite of many kids I saw there was tubing with an air current that carried scarves in many directions. The path could be changed by participants.

So impressed with this childrens museum. I have been to quite a few from MA to Pgh and this is by far my favorite. We asked for a family membership for Christmas and my girls (1.5 and 6) love it! We were there for 2 hours and barely did half of it. I was also surprised for a holiday weekend that it wasnt crowded. Parking was close and easy to find. The exhibits were clean and literally had something for kids 8 months to 9 years old. We will be taking full advantage of our membership this year.

This place is spectacular my son had a blast. Even though where a lot of children it did not feel crowded because it was so large. we had free admission because it was from 4 to 7 PM the first Friday of the month we came to check it out. did not disappoint the exhibits were endless theaters make up an ambulance a dentist area where kids could brush teeth blocks airplanes hammocks all kinds of stuff. my only issue would be the parking it is a bit challenging you to find street parking because it is downtown. highly recommend and we will be going back

We loved our visit. Were visiting the area and drove about 35 minutes to visit the museum with our almost two year old. So worth it! The play areas are clean, fun, and thoughtfully put together. Great for the very young kids too- some things will be too old for them of course, but the toddler areas, art room, and most of the play areas are great for a wide age range. You should definitely go!

If youve got young kids, this place is worth so much more than the modest entry fee. Two floors of fun and the kids can touch everything and no one will say no. We only gave ourselves 1.5 hours, but you should plan for much longer. Our 18 month grandson was in heaven!

100% awesome. Well worth the 7 dollar admission. Even better I got lucky to pass by on the free friday from 4pm to 7pm. There are 2 floors, smaller than other museums but from what Ive seen the quality of the activities available is much better than most museums Ive been to. Theres also a makerspace for kids 8+. Althought the majority of the place is aimed at younger kids, the makerspace alone is worth the trip for the older kids.

OK, Im biased. I served on their board a few years back. This place is one of the best resources in town. The first floor is setup for younger kids. A makerspace and programming for middle schoolers on the second floor. They just opened up a beautiful event space on the third floor. Everything is clean, neat, organized - a great place to visit if you have children.

Nice place for the kids to play and learn. There are all kinds of different stations for the kids to play at, from being a mechanic and working with tools to learning how to pack a healthy lunch in the kitchen. A barn slide, a cow to milk, a rain room, an airplane to pilot, the giant blocks to use your imagination with and create a playground. This place is truly amazing. I remember when I went many years ago to a fundraiser event so they could add a new floor. Well that is in now and keeps growing and now they are looking at another floor. But they do not neglect the existing stuff either. They are constantly switching out or adding things to existing themes. Oh the themes. The large spectrum of educational things they have is impressive. Our daughter loved the dress up and theater stage this last time. She never was interested in playing dress up until we went this last time and now its all she wants to do. As someone who used to frequent the Richmond, Va Science musuem, believe when I say that this place on a per square footage comparison is far more impressive. They do more with less. Their yearly membership is worth it even if you go only a few times.
