My happy place! I didnt want to leave. I dont visit this region without stopping here. Take some of the grosso lavender essential oil and the ice cream home, and a bottle of there specialty wine. You wont regret it. If you have children visit the farm area. Theres lots of room to run. The place changes every year and is even more beautiful than ever.
Beautiful farm with a fabulous gift shop (you wont regret getting the lavender ice cream)! I came during the week and it was a nice quiet place to walk around and enjoy the scenery, even though the lavender was not in season. Gorgeous little duck pond and adorable gazebos. Also, I happened to leave my bag while I was there, and the amazing staff went and found it for me before I had even made my way back to the farm after turning around. I hope to return in the future!
A very cute vineyard. A lot of the wines are lavender-related. Loved the lavender wine slush, and lavender ice cream. Due to COVID19, only self-guided tours were available. Still I enjoyed a walk in the beautiful garden in the back. You only need to pay $3 to enter the garden, and $8 to enter the garden and pick 50 lavender stems. Great experience if you want something more than just a vineyard.
Everyone should visit this business. They have great stuff. You might pay a little more but you you are getting quality and supporting local merchants.
Amazing and beautiful. Highly recommend a walk through their gardens followed by a flight of reds in their tasting room. We spent several hours enjoying the garden full of lavender. Finished off with a new favorite red, Pardon My Purple. This place is a must do when visiting Massanutten Va!
The scenery at the farm was breathtaking, varieties of flowers were nicely planted in the gardens. We went there for family photo and fell in love with the place. There were horses, sheep, chickens, ducks,... at the farm. Great place for families with kids. The homemade lavender ice cream was so delicious. Entrance fee was $3/person, free for kids. The farm opens from Thurs - Sun from 11am to 6 pm.
A pretty little vineyard by the side of the road. There is a tasting room and a lavender gift shop with various products. Lots of purple seating amongst the lavender gardens. Best part of all is the lavender infused white wine. $25. Yum!
We were able to do a full tasting in small cups, which is appreciated as several wineries have limited selections for their flights. The wines were good and the lavender infused wines different but good. Glad we stopped in!
Great Esthetics, Landscaping, and Overall Experience. The space is so well thought out and makes for the perfect day to do a wine tasting, bringjng the family for some afternoon fun at the mini farm, or working away from.home day! The customer service was great... and dont forget to visit the shop for some lemon lavender and strawberry lavender ice cream... OH SOOOO GOOD!!!
This winery is straight up awesome and on a nice day, there is something for everyone including toddlers to enjoy. White Oak was recommended to me so I made it a must-visit on my itinerary. So glad I did. Left after a full tasting, followed by a glass of my favorites - their rose - then I bought 6 bottles. Will try to return before my vacation ends.
Great place to visit! Plenty of space to social distance. Great wines and gift shop too! I definitely recommend.
The last time I was here my oldest daughter, who is now 11, was two and I was pregnant with my second daughter, who is now 9. I have also added another kid since then. So much has been added. We came at the wrong time of the year to pick lavender but we just enjoyed the property and the lavender ice cream. It is such a beautiful place.
Unique experience everyone should have. The lavender ice cream and wine is worth trying!
Beautiful place. Lavender Everything...lotion, room spray, sachet, lotion, ice cream and wine...yes Lavender ice cream...
Very Zen spot. Walk around to the different spots on the farm. Walk the labyrinth then sit and take it all in. Cut some lavender and inhale the different scents.
A nice welcoming family style farm with a wonderful area for families to see animals. The wine tasting was a nice setting and they offered kids drinks as well.
Great place, so cute and welcoming. Well adjusted for covid-19 visitors. Fantastic worth the visit
$3.00 to walk the not blooming gardens. Not much going on, not many animals, $24.00 for a bunch of lavender is too much. Wines were a little pricey too.
Great wine tasting venue with many different areas to spread out and find places to set and relax even during Covid. Real farm with real animals. Children and pet friendly.
Absolutely love this spot for a first visit it was beautiful and the customer care was awesome ...so going back!!!
Hidden from view a gorgeous garden and farm. Plenty of tasting options, several actually include lavender. The lavender influenced wine was suprisingly good. Great gift shop too.
Very interesting, everybody was friendly & helpful. Tasted deveral wines, all good & bought a bottle.
Very nice place to visit! The open air sitting area has a lovely breeze! So many kinds of lavender.
Wonderful place to take the kids. Animals to see and lots of room to run around. Nice folks too . Great gift shop.
Dont turn your nose up on this gemHighly recommend!! They infuse Lavender into wines & Wow how tempting to the pallets are they. We Luv returning to this vineyard, + they have alpaca, lil horses, donleys.
Even off-season this is a beautiful, peaceful way to spend an afternoon.
The wine was so unique! Slushees were delicious!I was especially impressed with how they adapted their gorgeous lavender farm to accommodate covid restrictions.
Beautiful farm and location, however, the wine is very mediocre. Lots of outdoor seating though, rolling hills, farm animals, and fresh air. As long as your expectations are low when it comes to the wine, you will enjoy.
Nice place to sit and relax if thats what you want to do or other thing like lavendar tours and animals to see.
Beautifully-decorated location that takes the lavender theme to heart. I suspect that lavender-infused wine is a gimmick, but the wines are good (they on the sweet side). The staff is friendly and seems well-informed, with some good recommendations for me (who doesnt prefer sweet wines).
This place has really come a long way. Weve been coming since 2009 or 2010.
Smelled so good! Farm animals seem well taken care of, staff was very helpful and kind. Great place to come if youre in the area or staying at the Mass Resort.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about lavendar and its uses. Products are of exceptional quality and reasonably price. Just the smell of the store has you relaxed within minutes of entering.
This place is beautiful!!! One of the best dates my partner and I have had. Drank our wine tasting next to the sheep.
This place is beautiful. Love the animals and all the lavender. Great products.
Beautiful gardens of lavender, tasty wines, lovely folks with friendly attitudes, a gift shop that smells divine (but I love lavender, so maybe Im biased!). Plus, a discovery garden that I regretfully didnt get to check out today, but looked like a lot of fun with its labyrinth and petting zoo! I hope to come visit soon, or order some wine from their website, at least.
I came in 2 Saturdays ago, it was raining hard so we ran into the store, I brought my wife and daughter and we were there to buy store products, lotion, soap handmade items. After we walked in with our face masks we noticed we were the only customers in the store and two females employees behind the counter 30ft away, I lowered my face mask to smell a product and the girl behind the counter yelled to me that I could not take my mask off. I was not trying to remove it but only moved it off my nose so I could smell the product. I immediately left the store, my wife and daughter came out minutes later after they got yelled at as well for doing the same thing. Needless to say, they lost our business and we will not come back. Noone was within 30 ft of us, we did not ever attempt to remove our face maskbut only wanted to smell the product before we purchased it. We did not open anything. Not consumer friendly.
Theyve put marketing to work and doing a good job to make the place an experience. But the place is pretty much overpriced on just about everything.
Great place! Many things in the gift shop as well. They still have tours during covid, just self leading. You can pick your own lavender, or buy it. They sell ice cream, popsicles and a personal favorite, BATH BOMBS! If your looking for sunflowers as well, they have small area for picking too. Fun activitie but not a day trip place.
WOLF was off the beaten path but a true gem!! They have multiple things to do and wine tasting set amongst the Lavender!! There is a little gift shop that has all things lavender!
A must visit when visiting Harrisonburg area! Love the lavender products and wine! Makes great gifts!
The place was VERY beautiful and the wine was absolutely delicious. The gift shop had some very nice lavender products perfect for anyone
I met a friend here. I live 85 miles from this farm. Very sweet place. Loved it!!! Too bad they have port-a-potties for visitors! Especially in this day of Covid-19!!!!!! Won’t go again until they get real bathrooms for visitors!!!!
Love love LOVE this place! They grow their own lavender and have it infused in pretty much everything that they sell. Unfortunately I wasnt able to do a wine tasting, but Ive heard great things about it. I did however try their lavender infused blueberry ice cream and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day.The little store they have there is filled with amazing products, and super friendly staff. It is a great spot to explore with the entire family: wine tasting for adults, and a fun animal farm for the kids. They also have a huge LOVE sign for some great photo ops. How can you say no to that?!I had a great time here and will definitely be coming back.
Love it ! Totally a must visit if in the area for only $3.Lemon lavender ice cream $3 while you are admiring the lavender farm! & when you are done do the wine slushy $9 !
Absolutely love this place. It is a must visit whenever on vacation. The ice cream is delicious to start with and the lavender products are delightful. The smell of lavender fills the place. I also, spend lots of time on the wine tasting side. I could spend a good portion of the day there.
The location is beautiful and the lavender products are great. However, dont go here for the wine.
Beautiful Winery, Love the Lavender and friendly staff. Such a peaceful surrounding. The Pardon me Purple is my favorite wine.
A lovely setting for wine tasting and viewing gardens and lavender products.
We didnt know what to expect, but decided to check out the lavender farm anyway. It was a great decision. The lavender farm has a cute little gift shop with a lot of unique items. The staff was very nice and friendly. We started with a walk around the farm petting area. We headed to the duck pond and meditation labyrinth next and had the opportunity to save a bee from drowning in the pond. We really enjoyed the swings and gazebo areas. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful. We decided to not pick our own lavender, but the area was very pretty and smelled good. The day we visited had perfect weather. We really had fun, relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We will be back again soon.
This place is a must if you enjoy lavender and sampling wine
Great place to take a date and sip some wine in the mountains.
We go every year. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Outdoor fun for little kids and a great place to take pictures!
Nice quaint place to stop and browse...enjoyed swings and garden.
My mom and i visited here on our way north and absolutely loved it! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the lavender ice cream was the perfect end to our visit. I definitely recommend going early (we were there at 10), bc i heard that when families and kids arrive it can get a little hectic and noisy. It was also getting pretty hot by the time we left.
Family owned. A family member was even walking around greeting people and making sure they were enjoying themselves
Vibe is cool and the staff is friendly. Good place to visit for sure.
A little higher prices than I expected. Staff was a bit on edge but that could have been due to COVID guidelines. Overall we enjoyed the farm and the wines.
Loved the wine tasting infused with lavender was so good. Love the scenery, bought dried lavender and oil to go.
Very nice store front, A lot of products. Tours are available
Great set up for outdoor events, etc... Wines are average.
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the smell of lavender.
A very quaint and charming vinyard and lavender farm. If you are in the area it is a must to visit.Wine was varied and flavorful, the staff was phenomenal.
We had a lovely time at the Lavender Farm. It is a relaxing experience for all. Its a good place for walking around. We also visited the animals with pigs, bunnies, horses, etc. We also did a wine tasting.
Unfortunately some things were closed due to COVID. but! Had a blast definitely a 21+ destination though
Love the place and animals here .A good variety of wines to choose from .
Best winery around! Loved it
Enjoyed our visit. Beautiful, well maintained grounds. Theres a small animal farm, petting zoo without actually petting but kids enjoyed viewing. Guided tours. Gift shop full of great items.
Very beautiful, well kept farm. Amazing shop with great customer service and high quality locally made products.
Great place to take the kids.
This place was the highlight of our road trip. Adults will enjoy the lavender farm and wine tasting while children can roam free on their farm ($3 for each adult) and see the animals. Try the 10 wine for $10 and enjoy the live music in a relaxing atmosphere. We will come back for another visit.
Fun place to visit, but dogs are only allowed in the front gardens and wine tasting areas. We left a lot of the farm unexplored, but the wine was delicious and the whole atmosphere was somehow both fun and relaxing.
One of the most unique wineries I have ever visited!
Amazing stop that we happened upon visiting another store with their products. We decided their farm was on route to next destination so lets visit. Did wine tasting, walked the grounds, including a meditation labyrinth, shopped...perfect stop on summer afternoon. Worth the visit. We were told gardens are in full bloom June and July.
LOVED all the Lavender ! So many things Lavender. Including wine !!!
Now offering online shopping with pick up! I have been missing the lotion and the wine! Awesome place to visit.
Love this place. The flower body lotion is the best I’ve ever had. The wines were smooth as ever and the ice cream was delicious.
LOVE this place. So glad I found it.
We purchased a 12 wine sampler for $12 and were greatly disappointed when we received them warm in small soufflé cups. We will not be back.
My sister and I had a lovey visit here! The lavender wasn’t in bloom but we still enjoyed our time in the discovery area and petting the pony. The gift shop is also reasonably priced with a varied selection.
A beautiful, relaxing place. There is a wonderful labyrinth...cant be beat for meditation. With the audio tour, one learns about the oil distilling process and the drying of the plants. A small petting farm is in the back portion of the farm.
Great experience, beautiful scenery, and their wine slushy was superb.
Amazing place with lavender everywhere lol lavender wine, ice cream, chocolate! Degustation went so well! There’s a lot of interesting information about wines. All people are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Infused with lavender is beautiful, but in practice it was nothing spectacular. We did a tasting and left, but other groups were having the times of their lives. So maybe the place is more catered to group settings. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and did I say delightfully dressed in something lavendar!!!
Definitely worth checking out! Im a tad obsessed with lavender I admit, the property is well kept. The staff is friendly & helpful & the gift shop is wonderful you wont leave empty handed.
Beautiful place, great staff: try the lavender wine!!
THE GOOD: The farm and winery itself is absolutely beautiful. I fully encourage anyone to spend the $3 extra to see the farm and the animals. The wine was good overall and the lavender touches made for some interesting and unique wines. A special shout out to Katie ( lovely red-haired gal). She was bubbly and very sweet, answering the questions our wine pouring lady did not.THE NOT SO GOOD: The one main thing that turned me off was the young lady pouring my familys tasting. She initially brushed us off, and told us to stand over there and then scolded us for standing at the side of the bar. When she finally started our tasting she did not give us her name (brunette, glasses, 20s) and proceeded to pour the wines without any education or information about the wines. When we asked, shed utter a few words, and drift off. On a few occasions, she walked away and returned a few minutes later. It felt impersonal and was incredibly frustrating. The winery was busy, but several other staff members were able to keep customer service at a premium. I may return at a later time and will be sure to seek out another person to do my tastings.
Loved the place And the wine is amazing. The lady who served us was kind of rude to my bf but the other ladies seemed nice. She said to me you prefer sweet wines hun? To which i answered yes. But then my bf said id like the sweet ones too and she said fill out the paper then ill get what you want. So again place was wonderful in spite of that. Recommend the last 2 white wines think they were fairytale like names thumbalena and dragon fly maybe. If you like a sweet wine those are awesome.
Wonderful place. Such love and care is put into everything! Wonderful products for sale!
Love to visit this place. The people are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of gift ideas. The lavender coffee is my favorite. We have fun wandering around outside after shopping. Love the animals.
Very commercial. Lavender products poor quality. Dont waste your money.
Must try the lavender Ice cream . Great outside space for entertainment.
