Once a month my wife and I go out to wineries with another couple. I found Plagidos online and liked their wine list. When I called I asked about for and they said they had cheeseboards, but we could bring our own as well.We had such a great time, and their wine was delicious. Even ones we werent as crazy about were pretty good. After the tasting we bought a pouch of their sangria, which was absolutely delicious, and the most purple youll ever see.If you get an opportunity to visit, please do. The people there are great, the owner was awesome, and our trip there will not be our last.
We sat outside for our tasting. Pleasantly surprised that the young girl doing the tasting was not only super knowledgeable about the wines, but she was super proud of her job. She exuded happiness and it was evident she loves what she does. We had a great conversation with her and truly enjoyed every wine. Can’t wait to come back!
I absolutely loved this place is so cozy and cute wine is great and the service we received when visiting for first time was out of this world. I highly recommend to visit this winery i definitely will be going back soon.
This is by far one of the most excellent vineyards my girlfriend and I have visited. The wine is delicious, the cheese plate was excellent, the owners were very friendly. We loved the experience! Thanks!
Its a drizzly Thursday on vacation, so what do you do? You dont whine about it, you wine it! As luck would have it, I stumbled upon Plagidos Winery and was better for it. A small, family-owned winery, they take pride in everything they do and it shows. Each wine was masterfully poured by owner Candice, who imparted her wine wisdom with each chosen option. Locals (aka The Boys of Summer) stopped in for a glass of their favorite of the month. Its so nice to know that its not just a stop on a wine tasting map, but also a place where people come to enjoy the wines over and over. I love the familiarity of that. All their wines are made from grapes grown either on their property or from other local properties, without sulfites, and the quality showed. It must have, because I left there with a case of their wares. So now I, and my friends to whom I will gift some of them, will all benefit!
Love it here..Great wine Wonderful staff an awesome atmosphere.Definitely worth a trip if you dont live in the area
We stopped by this morning since we were in the area. Great experience. Staff was very nice and personable. Definitely recommend
My husband and I have visited close to every winery in New Jersey and this winery takes hospitality to a whole other level. If you want to be treated with 5 star customer service while feeling like you’re kicking it on your own back patio this is your place. Amazing wine and company.
Totally recommend. Its not often you go to a winery and like a their wines. We loooovvveed so many of them. Go for starting!
Great place great people very relaxed environment
My favorite winery
Me and one of my girlfriends went to our very first wine tasting ever here and it was great. The ladies were very delightful and knowledgeable about the wine. I love that they grow and make everything they sell which is a plus. It was a great experience, we will definitely be back again!!
Naaa. Annoying staff.( loud, opinionated) Most of the tasting wines were overly back sweetened. No ambiance cold sterile tasting room. Small, and in a not so great area.
My first time wine tasting here was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. I came to taste for my rehearsal dinner coming up in September, and was not disappointed. There were so many delicious wines. Thankyou so much for the experience, I’ve already told all my friends how wonderful Plagido’s is !!
The wine was was good. The prices were comparable. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
What a pleasant surprise! Excellent wines, delicious and thoughtful cheese plate, and an overall great experience. We stopped here on our way from the shore to a Phillies game for a tasting, and it was by far one of my favorite tastings Ive done anywhere on the east coast. The owners take great care and pride in their winemaking, and it most definitely shows. Whether you like dry, sweet, or fruit wines, they have it all. The dry reds were wonderful and full-bodied; we left with a few bottles. Highly recommend!
Absolutely enjoyed our wine tasting evening! The cheeses selected to pair with the wines were wonderful. Thank you for a great night.
This place is fantastic! Such a small hidden gem, definately worth the trip! Its so unassuming, but the local treats (wine with their own grown grapes), chocolates, crackers, super knowledgeable Alex, love it all, I cant wait to come back with friends and see grapes in the summer.
Candice is one of the nicest winery owners I have had the pleasure to meet. She knows her product line and knows how to promote it. Anytime I am in Hammonton I love to visit this winery because of the great wines and nice people.
I went there for the first time for the Wine and Chocolate Wine Trail Weekend (2/10/18) with my brother, sister and aunt, and we, all, had a fantastic time. They have a wonderful selection of wines and the staff was great. They were very friendly and informative. We’ll definitely be visiting again!
My wife and I have been to many local wineries here in South Jersey over the years and also at the Fingers Lakes New York. Plagidos is a small place Well worth the visit. They have, by far, the BEST red wines we have ever had hands down. They make their own wines with far less the sulfates that many other wineries have in their wines and you can taste the difference. We did their wine tasteing (very friendly and informative) for all their Reds and several whites. We were SO impressed we purchased 4 different bottles of their reds. We just had one at a BYOB restaurant and it was superb. Needless to say were going back to purchase several more bottles for the holidays. Well Done Plagidos !! The top awards you have received for your wines are well deserved!!! Keep it up you should be proud of your accomplishments!! All The Best for your future success!
Very nice. Enjoyed all their wines. Candice was incredible.
Great wine with a small winery atmosphere. They were extremely nice and knowledgeable, but not in a condescending way that you get at some wineries. They have tastings, glasses and bottles of wine for sale. They have variety from dry to sweet. You can also get chocolate or cheese plates.
Had an amazing time tasting the wines. Great staff and atmosphere. Love your wines well worth visiting. Will definitely go back
I love the wine and the employee, she’s awesome and sweet! Very much recommend this place. It was a great experience the first visit, it’s definitely a go to place for wine.
From the moment you walk in you feel like youre home. The best customer service I have ever received and the employees are very knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of wines and were even voted Winery of the Year for 2016 in all the state of New Jersey. They must be doing something right! Definitely worth it, only $8 for a tasting!
Wines are amazing. Nice place, and friendly people.
This place is a hidden gem amongst bigger wineries. The wine is delicious and the service is top notch. We went at the end of the day as our last stop on a wine tasting trip, but Candice took her time and explained every wine we tasted, along with what would enhance the flavors even more. A++ Service. The next time I come out to south Jersey, Plagidos is my one stop shop for wine. The wines are all crafted and bottled on the Plagido vineyard with exclusively their home grown grapes. Visit with confidence, you wont be sorry!
Plagidos winery is definitely my favorite place to be. They have a great selection of wines form drys to sweets! The customer service is phenomenal! Definitely worth the trip!
Just left this place. What a pleasant surprise! Candice did a great job explaining each wine to us. The winery is beautiful, definitely coming back.
Some great wines. Good selection. Great service
Have recently been going to this little Boutique Type Winery. Dont be fooled by the residential surroundings in the neighborhood, once one arrives to Plagidos, that person will realize how extensive the vineyards go back behind the building. Now, open the door, and step into a Warm Friendly Environment. Clean welcoming area with a wonderful aromatic scent. One may be greeted by Christine, Theresa, Heather, or maybe even the owners - Ollie and Cory. Once greeted, the feeling of FAMILY will enter the mind. Stay awhile and sample some wines; Several are named after family members; some wines like Earthquake 5.8, have an interesting background story!Enjoy the wine tasting at Plagidos. Located about 5 minutes from the center of Downtown Hammonton - it is worth the visit!!
Really friendly service. Would definitely visit again
Great wines and a super staff.
Delicious wines and absolutely fantastic staff! I would definitely recommend!
