Hammonton Lake Park

Vert comforting. If you wanna take your family to a place where you can look at the lake, play on the playground with your kids and be able to take a couple laps around the track for yourself or catch a weekend Game with the Hawks. THIS! Is where you need to take them.

Beautiful park, I have been coming here since 2002. Trails, BBQ, playground, lake.

Great park. Lots of room. Grilling area. Picnic tables bathrooms. Different Gazebo areas.

Nice big park with a lake u can take boats in for fishing

The majority of the people who come through this place have NEVER been on a kayak.They sell you a group of 15, when the river is 3 boats wide at BEST. BUT there are like 37 different groups of 15 and they all get there and once and the whole experience is just NOT relaxing AT ALL. Do NOT recommend. Go to Parvins State park. You get more time, less people and HALF the money.Never going back.

Great park to take your kids. They have a mixture of vintage playground equipment and modern ninja warrior style equipment.Highly recommend park.

Its a beautiful outdoor space

This place will always be near and dear to my heart, I grew up right down the street from here and I have memories from when I was a child all the way YEARS LATER of bringing my children here.its a beautiful and very clean park with a lot of nice little trails, a beautiful lake, some areas for children to play which are kept very clean and a baseball area with several Fields, a snack hut and a quarter-mile track around the outside of the baseball fields... A great place to walk and get a workout

Nice park and lake to walk and hang out at. There is a decent kids playground there for the young ones. Bathrooms not open all the time but I did see a outdoor potty there.

Great small to medium size park. Good view of the lake. Small tasteful hiking trails. They also have a friendly community center near the lake.

Didnt see much of the park we were there for my grandsons baseball game

The water is beautiful from any angle along the shoreline. Theres benches scattered at nicely set intervals, and even a little dock a little ways from the parking lot. Theres enough parking, and fields for various sports, but I liked finding this hidden treasure for quiet walks along the waterfront. Its small, but its safe, and theres Pokemon!

Great for boating with a trolling motor, as well as kayaking or on a canoe. Not the best for fishing from the shore there is some spots but not many off the beach.

Im 50 years old manIts a lot of great families in this area of South Jersey remember going as a child with parents to this Lake to go swimming to have BBQs.. its not the best in the world thats very tranquil quiet

Love the water view you have along the shoreline here!Theres playgrounds for kids, fields for bigger kids, and paths to walk for everyone else, like me. Its well kept, safe, nicely lit, and a great community of people whenever I visit.

Great place to spend the day, has a playground, you can bring your own canoe or kayak and ofcourse go fishing.

Very nice family friendly park.

Very cute, it has great secluded trails and is not crowded. Also has a big park for kids to play on, and I think sports areas. The lake is super pretty, and its a grest place for ant occasion~

Great family place

I come to this park often on my lunch break. I usually just pick up a sandwich and sit at one of many picnic tables they have scattered around the lake. Its a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the view.

The playground is a great place to bring your children and grand children! The Lake is just an added bonus of a beautiful view.

This park is usually pretty clean very large playground the lake is nice and theres a big gazebo areas to sit and eat you can go fishing or hiking. Very family-friendly area there are also bathrooms which is very helpful when you have potty training toddlers. Its also nice that the playground has a fence around it separating it from the parking lot and other areas of the park

Beautiful area

Very lovely place for a walk or a picnic. Definitely a nice place to spend some time outside. Havent tried to use any of their facilities yet but if I do Ill get back to you and maybe add another star.

A little hometown gem with a boat launch (no gas powered), gazebo, shaded playground, ballfields with concession, picnic tables and grills, fishing, a Senior center, and easy access to trails in the neighboring Wildlife Management Area. Great spot for a picnic or a quick kayak run (bring your own). Wish they would bring back swimming, though.

Great place to take a young family. Lots of space to walk or bike. Large playground area. There is a ramp to put in canoes and such. Careful when a big sporting event is letting out some of those parents pull out of there a little crazy.

Its nice here. A big playground for the kids (about 4 separate stations). They have the town little leagues play here. The lake can be nice at times. Some picnic seating with a new remodeled pavilion. I find the crowds fine and not to routy.

The park was beautiful however the large boathouse at the end of the park at the Lake were rather dirty and unkempt

Nice park with a really big playground set, boat launch, a picnic area, and several ball fields. The lake isnt really all that clean and not a place to go swimming so its a bit of a draw back.

Grate park nice clean and lots to do but it need more fish so its a better experience

Awesome place not just for sports going on but the scenery & playground are amazing as well! Just wish there was easier way to get a stroller into the playground area & actually be able to maneuver it! Lol! (for lil ones not yet walking or not walking good enough to not fall on the dirt/ mulch.) (Another little downside: The bathrooms- if theyre open. They arent that clean either... -ok they are normally super gross- but its a park, so try to get your lil ones to go before you leave!) This park is safe, very clean, & the playground is fenced in- yes, obviously you still must watch your child(ren) but I love that added feature & also how each play set goes from youngest to oldest. Allows younger children to take their time & not be rushed by bigger kids & lets the bigger kids be able to play at their pace as well. Kinda like each one grows with your child! We love going to the park!
